City Park is a large, spacious park with a lot of greenery, nice open spaces, and beautiful residents. It offers historical significance, beautiful activities, and areas for children's games and skating. It is also dog-friendly. However, the park faces significant issues. It is often filled with homeless individuals and drug users, creating an unsafe environment unsuitable for children. The bathrooms are consistently closed, unusable, and very dirty, filled with feces and urine. There is a frequent, noticeable police presence. While the city and people are nice, many feel the park needs better maintenance, security, and necessary improvements to be a clean, safe, and pleasant space for families.
