EDJ is the definition of family, when I first got here a year ago I was welcomed warmly and everyone was so kind. The professors, coaches and fellow students all help make this place what it currently is. Bravo

This place has brought happiness to my child. He loves the coaches as well as the other students. He has grown mentally and physically. He loves the hands-on training. I would recommend this location to anyone who is interested in learning martial arts.

We moved to the area two years ago and did lots of looking around for where we wanted to start our son in Jiu Jitsu. EDJ was running a special and within the first day our son was hooked. The coaches are so friendly and so family oriented which was huge to us. The coaches always teach more than Jiu Jitsu and positive behavior has been a huge plus. We can't wait for him to compete for his first time in May.

Took my 4 year old for his first sample class and I walked out halfway. I was not happy with the unfriendly atmosphere. I understand the seriousness and respect for the art but they’re little kids 4 YEARS OLD. He wasn’t even greeted with “hey how are you welcome to your first class, this is what we’re going to be doing today etc..” they just expected him to follow along and kept saying “pay attention”. The instructor didn’t even introduce himself to him or anything. The same instructor was standing near the door for 10 mins doing nothing and didn’t even acknowledge us. My kid wasn’t in a Gi clearly he’s new and here for a class. Do not recommend, unless they come up with a new way to treat the new kids.Trying Gracie Barra next.

Probably one of the best schools around. Coaches and Professors (black belts) are all highly decorated with proven experience and training lineage. This school is also very friendly to new students both male and female with zero experience. Because of these wonderful people, I've not only found my fighting spirit again, I've also gained a new confidence in my day to day life.

My son started back in June of last year. He is a very active little guy (started at 4 years old) and can be all over the place. I wanted him to gain some discipline and learn something along the way. I absolutely love this school and the instructors. The tiny ninjas (his class) have had different instructors from time to time, and they're all amazing. They will do meet ups and events that are outside of this location. They feel like family. I'm so glad I found this place.

EDJ is an amazing school. My daughter loves it. The instructor are knowledgeable, passionate, and patient. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in how fast their students learn. We always recommend EDJ to our family and friends, and anyone else who will listen.

I've been to many jiu jitsu /martial art gyms in my life. EDJ is head and shoulders above them , it feels like family and everyone is trying to help each other. EDJ coaches /professors are all very good at jiu jitsu and able to explain and teach really well. EDJ is an amazing gym /community and I'm lucky to be able to train here.

EDJ School of Jiu Jitsu definitely provides a great learning environment for people of all ages. Whether you're a child or an adult, EDJ provides exceptional jiu jitsu technical lessons. The professors and coaches do a great job in delivering understandable BJJ techniques and assist in all technical areas. The environment is welcoming and everyone treats others with respect and dignity. This was important for me because I've been to other gyms where newbees are completely smashed the first day on the mats and discourage beginners. At EDJ they progressively expose you to harder rolls as your techniques develop and can safely roll with others at a higher speed and intensity. I believe this is what makes EDJ so great! They emphasize actually learning the art of jiu jitsu as opposed to just throwing you into the lions den where you either sink or swim. Professor JP and Kim are world class instructors who treat everyone with respect. They also hold their coaches to the same standard and welcome everyone willing to learn with open arms. Keep it up EDJ!

EDJ is a home away from home. It really is a family and we are so thankful to be a part of it. Our kids love and look forward to their training by the best professors/instructors in the business! EDJ not only teaches jiujitsu, but it teaches respect for themselves and their peers, discipline, and a team player attitude. They care so much about our kids they even have special anti bullying seminars! This place is a godsend to our community. Thank you EDJ, much love!

As a 46 year old Marathon runner and combat veteran, I was looking for a gym in Corona and I’m so happy I found EDJ.The staff at EDJ are super warm and inviting. To me that was important because I like working out with people not just next to them with their headphones on some treadmill. The head professor is a world class tactician who helps each student develop there own game plan. That was important to me too because I really want to learn the fundamentals of Jujitsu.Classes are physical, but also cerebral because the instructors observe and help students figure out how to get out of the challenges. It’s really fun and helps me to stay youngish, as long as I can .

We love going to EDJ. We feel so welcome when we go every week. The coaches are awesome, my son feels comfortable with everyone who attends. He usually is a shy boy so to see that he gets out of his comfort zone makes me happy. EDJ has many fun events for our kiddos we love EDJ.
