Was in town from NorCal and was recommended to check out this gym by a friend from mine. As one of their black belts had stopped to train at our a few months back.We stopped in on a Sunday morning and at the initial opening of the gym by the owner Stephen, my family and I greeted him and told him where we were from. He was very cordial and welcomed us, showed us around and pointed out the changing room for us.We were unaware it was no-gi but my son and I had brought that gear with us, while my girl didn't. She ultimately wasn't going to roll, but hoped she could buy a gym branded shirt to roll. And Stephen was nice enough to just give her one so she could still train.Everyone we met and rolled with were friendly and very welcoming; making our brief time here enjoyable.Overall: Very friendly and professional, and would stop in again if/when in the area again.

Our little one has been coming here for months now and Coach Richard has welcomed our newbie with kindness, attention, and encouragement. We feel so blessed to have him as a mentor who is constantly pushing discipline, respect, focus, determination, and strength. He has taken the time to give each student what they need and it's truly unbelievable how he can dedicate so much energy and attention to each kiddo. He is truly skilled to be able to manage such a large class and keep everyone in line and paying attention and learning. He ensures we are getting our moneys worth and I really can't singing his praises. He's tripled our investment with our kiddos continued development. But, If you're not used to teaching your little person to respect authority then this sport is probably not for you. If you expect this hour to be a daycare where you can let your kid disrespect the mat and others without being told anything, then please keep them at home. We all happily support this business, coach Richard, and the other coaches!

The best jiu jitsu gym in the local area. High level instruction for everyone, both competitors and hobbyists. Professor Stephen is an amazing coach and active competitor who cares about his students' progress. Plentiful classes 7 days a week (4 gi and 3 no gi days). Come train at Peerless!Edit: Regular 5-6 am classes 2 to 3 times a week. Monthly law enforcement seminar.

Travelled from Norway and was staying near this gym so I decided to visit it. Trained here for 2 weeks and I absolutely loved it. Everyone is very welcoming and the atmosphere is really friendly. The head instructor Stephen is humble and is really fun to train with. Jared teaches classes sometimes and like Stephen is very welcoming. If you are near this gym I highly recommend it.

Love this place! Great people to train with. Stephen who runs the school is a world class champion and great instructor. They run a solid kids and adult program with a wide variety of experienced grapplers to train with. I absolutely love their Sunday nogi open mats. You won't find a better jiu-jitsu achool in the area to train at.

I signed up our five year old for a trial class to see how he would do. The coaches are great and I knew that we would continue his journey with BJJ. Since day 1 our son has shown significant improvement with his rolling, discipline, technique and overall confidence. I'm really impressed within the few short months he's been here at peerless how he improved. He was attending karate up the street, and although we did find some benefits, we found that BJJ was just better for him. You can bring you child literally everyday, I don't think I've seen anything in corona quite like that, GI and no GI classes available. Personally, my child enjoys the GI. I love how the coaches just show the kids that they cannot just mess around and need to learn respect. That's one thing I really appreciated during our time here. They always kept the kids in line. As a parent, thank you. Some parents don't like that, but these kids need that! Lastly, the kids always followed the directions of the coaches. Each day is something new. The first 30 minutes is a warm up, then the rest of the class is a new move they need to master and practicing with each other. It all depends. It's also clean and tidy. Overall, if you are looking for your child to learn how to protect themselves, learn something new, or overall just do something active, then 100% put them in BJJ.
