It's Walmart. Customer service is weak because the staff aren't knowledgeable but I guessed that before I went in.

Everyone I shop at Walmart, I have to check everything for dates and freshness. It is so exhausting to know I need to check extensively for dates and freshness on all the food products. Just this week I bought great value brand semi-sweet chocolate chips and they got me. They were dated March 22, 2023. Other times have used the online Walmart plus for home delivery and I have to be careful ordering tomatoes and produce. The tomatoes will be too soft and the inner lettuce leaves will be non-edible. Several times while I'll shopping, I've noticed slime and discoloration on the luncheon meats, smoke sausage, and ground turkey meat. I shop at the Walmart in Corona on Ontario. Walmart is a billion dollar company and there food products should be as fresh as the high-end stores like Albertsons and Whole Foods. Evidently, Walmart os not instilling core values in their employees to care about the value of Walmart values.

This store is generally pretty filthy and it looks like nobody is in charge. Today I went for a new coffee maker and asked the first employee which isle to go to. The employee knew zero english. I was amazed, she was in the vest there to help and I felt bad. She should not have been put in that position. This is a bad business practice as you lost a customer and it is managements fault.

Friday night we ran in 15 minutes before closing. Tooth ache needed some Orajel pain relief. Staff was busy restocking, but that didn't stop them from being friendly and helpful finding the Orajel. That help gave me time to pick up a few other ideas on my list. Never felt rushed and along with other staff members smile. We got what we needed with a smooth self check out. We have the best Walmart.
Love the Clearance section at Walmart. Best time is after a holiday. 75% off Valentine's items today. Picked up a 3 pack of toy mice for my cat $1.78 yippee!!
It's really sad to shop now. When Walmart has to lock up Eye Drops. Luckily I did my information reading on which eye drops I needed before getting to Walmart. The employee doesn't have time (since the employee also was called to open the case for the baby formula and the blow-dryer case) to stand there while a customer wants to read the different product information. I don't blame the employees or Walmart.
Make a large pot of Clam Chowder. One thing I can say about Walmart. When you save $2.00 on a bottle of Clam Juice when all the others stores sell it for over $4.00. It's worth shopping at Walmart to buy all the other ingredients, that I also saved on.
Always price match when buying makeup. (Make sure the makeup is the same color & size, different prices on colors) Purchased L'Oreal Powder, in-store price was $13. Walmart on-line price is $11 for the color I chose. Had the cashier do a price match. As always very nice staff. Beautiful pots at nice prices. 10"D x 6" H $13.97. Best prices for replacement outdoor cushions.

I used self checkout and when I was done and paid I was accused of stealing items by the employee who worked there, even though I had my receipt and showed proof I didn't steal anything. Not sure I will shop at this Walmart anymore!

Cashiers are a bit slow if you’re not able to go through self check. However, employees are friendly at this location. Vast difference from the McKinley location. Much cleaner than the McKinley location. Definitely the preferential Walmart in Corona. Plenty of parking.
