Do not shop here! I asked for help with what kind of socket wrench I needed. They told me I needed 3 separate parts for a total of $35 and if it didn’t work I would not be able to return it.
It did not fit what I needed and I wasted $35. Was able to find what I needed in 5 minutes online. Disappointed bc I wanted to shop local, but won’t again!

They should not have the word ACE in their window. Because it's a lie and I'm not sure if its even legal to act like they are the chain. They sell ACE products but they don't take back ACE supplies. They don't do any returns by the way. Only store credit.

Going to echo something previously stated, but it 100% does not open at 7 AM. A clerk showed up on his scooter around 0810 and didn’t even acknowledge us (Myself with a baby in tow) until five minutes into putting all of the gear outside. I had an order that was stated ready for pick up and drove up from imperial Beach because we wanted to support something outside of a big box store, and the employee couldn’t find all of the portions of the order and stated that it was likely received by another employee of the store and he could not find it so he recommended canceling the order even though three window films were located

This hardware store is pure vintage, so cool, so full of things, even the gum machines at the front are pure nostalgia. I was with the boyfriend in Coronado some weeks back and he needed to buy some items. They did not have what he was looking for but the customer service was outstanding, we spend a great time actually checking how well organize was everything and thinking how do they managed to know where everything goes. The signage in the facade is very nice, like everything in Coronado, colorful and retro.

great place to shop for tools and other materials there might not be a retrenched policy but it felt really homey and very nice so definitely recommend

Lots of hardware you might need. Everything from screws, bolts, headlamps, outlet covers, landscaping tools, bulbs, etc. They ask you if you need any help with any questions or if you need assistance finding products. They even had a military discount of 2%. It’s very convenient to have in the middle of the island. Store layout is no-nonsense and they make the most of the space they have. One of the only complaints I have is that the prices aren’t readily available. But they save you money by not having to hire someone to affix barcodes to the inventory.
