Very nice place to walk and admire the view, with shops and restaurants plus the ferry to and from San Diego

$8 seemed kind of expensive for a 5 minute boat ride. Seats were also dirty/bird poop covered.

Great time to explore the nicest view of San Diego city on the water, from Coronado to downtown, and I am on the other side today, $8 for one way ticket, you can buy with the kiosk or online, both works, parking might be tricky as it shares with other businesses in the area, so you only get 2 hours free, then paid after, or get fined. Recommend for any occasions.

Beautiful views of Downtown San Diego! Cute shops, a variety of restaurants to choose from with a couple of the restaurants waterfront. Depending on the night you can also enjoy the beautiful music coming across the way from Seaport Village. They also have a booth during the day for sea-doo watercraft rentals for $99.00 an hour.

We couldn't get the ticket machine to work so one of the people who worked there gave us a few tickets and told us to remember to pay twice at the other end

Def walked past this a bunch of times but haven't actually taken the ferry over until last weekend. Super easy to use with the schedule posted for you to see (it's also available online). You can purchase tickets online or right at the kiosk when you walk up. Super fast - about 10 minutes to zip across and runs every half hour. Love ferries! When we were here it was a small water taxi servicing the route but it was still quick and easy.
