Dr. Stone is a superb vet and really enjoyable to chat with — I appreciate her educational, direct and straightforward communication as well as her human-ness.

I WISH I COULD GIVE 10 GOLD STARS!! Dr, Noppinger is FANTASTIC & A.J. at reception is absolutely AMAZING!! I truly have received the best care for my puppy & know they care about him (almost) as much as I do. So grateful to have my best friend getting the care he needs. They go so far above & beyond…I can’t recommend them enough.

Dr Stone and her staff are wonderful. My pup has been a patient for her 15 years of life. Coronado Veterinary Hospital has taken such good care of her and her anxious Mom. They are friendly, compassionate and very responsive.

We’ve been taking our dog here for 14 years now. Our last visit wasn’t the easiest visit, but Dr. Stone showed her compassion toward the situation. She helped explain everything and sent us home with proper meds to make our dog comfortable and signs to continue to watch for to know when it’s “her time.”Over the last 14 years, we’ve had multiple visits, including: spayed surgery, an eye issue that led to debridement with a referred specialist, getting micro chipped, and then all the annuals/check-ups. In all these visits, I’ve always felt Dr. Stone cared for my dog as if she were her own.Coronado is by no means the closest vet to us (we’re in Santee), but we go because of the professionalism, knowledge, and overall excellent care this hospital offers.

I have been going to this Veterinary Facility since 1986 with several Canine Companions for Independence puppies that I was raising, and then with three personal pets, and have always been very pleased with their service and professionalism.

Been taking our animals to CVH for over 20 years and have had them attend to our our pets through their life time. Their staff is always first rate and Drs Stone and Noppinger have always made the right and caring calls on medical issues.I fully support this service.

We have three super sized dogs and have been going to Dr Stone and Coronado Vet for three years now. There is no better pet care in San Diego. The entire staff is professional and friendly - they know our dogs almost as much as we do. I would not take our pets to any other Vet - ever !

The way they helped me care for my dachshund for the majority of his life, and his passing, just the way they handled it all was amazing. The last couple of years he was with us, I had gotten a giant rescue mutt. Of course we went to Coronado Vet Hospital. This dog is giant and very attached to me, but he happily abandons me for the techs and doctors. I think her volunteer to work at that place in exchange for being pet to be honest. The prices are reasonable if you shop around, and they will offer you a variety of tests, like decals and heartworm. This is standard. I can’t always afford what he should have but they haven’t made me feel ashamed for that. Other clinics have pushed unnecessary meds, foods, even holistic options, and made me feel super guilty when I didn’t opt in.You will not find a better veterinary doctor. Crossing the bridge is worth it. I’ve gone from downtown, to Serra Mesa, to Mission Valley. I don’t drive due to health issues. I STILL won’t relocate or change vets. Ever.

I strongly discourage pet owners from taking their pets to this location. I recently started going to this vet in May to care for my 15 year old dog who is suffering from liver disease. Although the prices are very high and Dr. Stone hours are limited I continued to take my dog here because she was very nice. On Wednesday they performed dental surgery and removed 11 teeth for $1,800. The pain killer they prescribed had a very negative side effect and he cried and barked for 12 hours Thursday night so I rushed him back to the hospital on Friday morning for review. They prescribed different pain medicine and I asked since the other pain killer did not work could I get a credit and was told no and that was the end of it. They gave me back the old pain killer that I could not use and I took the bag and placed in on the receptionist desk and told her I did not want to take it home since I can not use it and if they could dispose of it.When I got home the office manager called me and said I threw the bag at the receptionist which is completely untrue. The office manager was very hostile on the telephone. She said I could not bring my dog back to the office and she would forward all records. My elderly dog just had major surgery and had a 7 day follow-up visit scheduled. I was truly shocked. They clearly make a lot of money at this hospital to just act with such disregard for their clients. Very disappointing. If they will do this to my pet they will do it to yours too. The office manager completely over reacted and when I asked if I could speak with Dr. Stone regarding the situation she said no. She had no knowledge of my dogs situation and did not care. When I brought up his follow up appt in 5 days she said you have 5 days to find another vet.In the past 3 months I have spent over $6,000 in vet cost trying to optimize my beloved dogs life and they got upset because I asked for a credit on medication I could not use. I own an insurance business and policyholders call me all the time frustrated over increasing premium and I would never tell them I am going to cancel your home and auto insurance policy instead I try to help them and look for options. I would never throw an object at someone and I did not even raise my voice.

I strongly discourage pet owners from taking their pets to this location. I recently started going to this vet in May to care for my 15 year old dog who is suffering from liver disease. Although the prices are very high (prices similar to an emergency vet visit) and Dr. Stone hours are limited I continued to take my dog here because she was nice and I am new to the area. On Wednesday they performed dental surgery and removed 11 teeth for $1,800. The pain killer they prescribed was an opiate and they did not disclose that it could cause whining and crying as a side effect, I learned that when I called the emergency vet because he was whining and barking for hours. Friday morning I took him back to vet for review to make sure he was not in pain. They prescribed a different pain medicine and I asked since the other pain killer did not work could I get a credit and was told no and that was the end of it. Our cat Ray goes to this office for all his vet care. Most recently annual shots, arthritis shot ( very effective!), and dental cleaning. Ray is very nervous and can be aggressive. All staff at this practice manage to calm Ray and his humans and provide services without drama. Thank you Coronado Vet Hospital!!
