I visited this place from out of town on 7/6/24. I was completely disgusted by the way I was treated by the woman working in the deli. when she came back to help as the line was building up. She yelled to the other young lady who was cutting meat" I am coming" She looked at me at the hot deli area with a scowl and said " You need to wait i need to help them first". Mind you i hadnt said a word to her because i saw the other lady was doing it all. After helping one customer she literally looked at me and decided to help another customer instead. Now.by this time I realized this wasn't stress from being shorthanded but more of how what I looked like vs everyone else . There was another young lady who was busy slicing meat for a customer. She acknowledged me 2X and finally came over to help me. She was awesome. I wanted to guve her a $100 tip honestly but I will never step foot in this place again. EVER. honestly I will never shop at a Vonns Safeway, Albertson's,, etc again and management has the deli lady to thank for that as her racism was so evident that I wanted to walk out but i didnt as I wanted her to serve me so i could tell her face to face how horrible she was.. I don't know her name but I am sure I am not the first person to experience her unprofessional attitude . I dont usually let racial tension bother me but this one was so very obvious and disgusting. ..Last I checked money is GREEN. Management, if you want to review tape I was in there at 5.40 -5.55p black shorts, grey shirt with black visor on. I really wish I knew the rude lady s name. Also know the other lady that helped me with a purchase of 2 chicken thighs was amazing and professional. She actually told me they were shorthanded and she was moved back there to help. If I can give her a tip please let me know how.

It's 4th of July weekend, absolutely crazy time, parking was a challenge but there was very little waiting in the check out lines. Wasn't bad at all

Horrible service. Prices on the shelves are oftentimes $2-$3 less than what is charged at check out.

I come here frequently for lunch and to get dinner items. This is the best place to get your mango habanero chicken. However sometimes they do leave feathers on it. I recently had a boar deli sandwich and oh my God if that wasn't the freshest meat and cheese I have ever had in my life. Just be aware not all Vons locations carry the Boar's Head Deli

Just came here to visit a friend at Coronado. Very surprised with the variety and good prices they have. Hands down to cashier Raquel, she was so helpful, friendly and for me as a Spanish talking guy she was wonderful!

Went to buy 1/2 gallon of 1% milk today Nov 13 and most of the containers had exp.date of Nov 14. Then bought apples which I realized were rotten when I got home. One had fuzz growing on it.

Convenient location. It's kind of small but it still has a good variety of generic, common, and niche brands for a lot items. Friendly staff. Layout reminds me of the old Vons in Mission Hills. It's a nice, cozy neighbourhood feel.

I have been going to this grocery location for the last 25 years. I have never met such unprofessionalism in my life. Please meet "Allison" below who is by far one of the worst people I have come across in my life. Completely unprofessional, rude, obnoxious, and just an ugly face for this business. I came in with my family who just won at bingo at The Coronado Shores, in which case they give you "Coronado Dollars". I came in to make an honest purchase of some water and bananas and attempted to use this cash reward I received. The first thing out of this womans mouth was: "These are fake, call the police!" I thought she was joking but then started to get her other employees involved when I responded to "please call the police" and explained how we won the Coronado Dollars. They started whispering and made me feel like some sort of criminal. I hope nobody has this type of experience I had because I will definitely be calling there manager on this tomorrow. Such disrespect and ridiculousness. I hope they can find jobs or a place where they are happier people, these people are obviously miserable and give the business a bad face, bad name, and terrible customer experience!

Excellent deli staff caring and helpful! Very entertaining: when I got a plate at the Imperial Beach Vins, one guy got so jealous, he accused me of "cheating!" I felt REALLY appreciated as a customer!
