This is a 3-year review of the Avocado Green mattress. It's unusable. My wife and I are sinking, and the mattress is sagging. We've been back and forth with their customer support department for 3 weeks now and they still won't honor their warranty policy.Spare yourself. This is a dishonest company, making an incredibly expensive mattress of subpar quality.

Chris helped me today at the Corte Madera store and his customer service was excellent. He provided great information and was incredibly patient while I tested 4 beds 3 times each. I ended up purchasing a great mattress, pillows and some other items. I had a very positive experience.

Purchased an avocado mattress that was never delivered and yet I don’t have my money back which makes zero sense as Avocado admitted the lack of delivery was their fault yet I’m having to wait till they receive a mattress they couldn’t get delivered to me now back to them before I can get my money back?!? Unbelievable. It started with trying the mattresses in the store and not being super impressed with the customer service there but I decided to order one as I found a decent promo code online. I still paid A LOT and included white glove delivery yet the delivery service would not only not take away my old mattress (as promised) but they wouldn’t even bring the nearly 300 pound mattress into the house. Because I not only am unable to lift this plus It’s also on avocado’s own website that it’s required that they bring the ca king size into your home to confirm for warranty purposes that it is on approved platform bed etc. The customer service is all via chat and email so feels like you’re dealing with AI. Anyway, I have no mattress and still I’m out of pocket a big chunk of money and still waiting for them to receive it back from their own selected delivery service before they return my money. Feels like a scam. What happened to customer service? The delivery service showed me the paperwork that clearly indicated Avocado had not paid for more than “basic” delivery which is why there were not doing white glove delivery. Avocado leaves you the customer hanging to deal with the stress of negotiating with delivery people who clearly were not paid to do what Avocado says they were. Save yourself time, money and hassle and go somewhere else.

I bought the Luxury Organic Mattress in Ultra Plush at this store, and started to develop back pain over the course of a year. Just as the return window closed, it got especially bad. So severe that I was in pain all day. In a feeble attempt for pain relief, I started to sleep on the floor and – what do you know! – the pain went away. I called customer service thinking that they would help me resolve the problem, but they were super difficult to work with, and I put down the phone feeling very upset/dismayed. Because the company seemed so ethical, I thought that they would have compassion for me in my unique situation. I thought that they would work to find a creative solution, as many organic mattresses you can open up and change things (which I would have been willing to pay for), but they didn’t. They only offered a pillow topper, which I knew would only make things worse. Extremely disappointed in my experience with Avocado. ☹I've never left a negative review before, so this was hard for me to write. I called the brick and mortar store just before posting to try to work things out, but the call was routed to Avocado's customer service hotline instead.

Was there 10:30 in the morning on Saturday (Were supposed to be open at 10). Nobody was there. Called their office. The person didn’t really care and couldn’t help.

The in-store staff are very attentive and helpful. We feel we were properly guided to get the right mattress for us and are very happy with our choice. Would buy here again.

Alex and his manager went the extra mile. Besides being informative, they asked appropriate questions about my bed frame to verify it could accommodate an Avocado. They also customized the delivery with my new bed delivery.

We purchased 2 twin xl adjustable bases, mattresses, and toppers with the help of Cathy and some from Mel. We really appreciate their guidance and all the information to ensure we have the models for us. Cathy even stayed pass closing to ensure we selected what we want.Great service at the Corte Madera store and the white glove delivery was as expected.

Ordered a mattress because I wanted something non-toxic and natural. Less than two weeks later I pulled up my sheets and found MOLD growing on the inside & outside of my mattress. Customer support was abysmal and refused to give a refund for their product. Looking at the reviews it’s clear this problem is not new. Don’t buy!!!

Just received our Avocado bed and our sleep has improved already! Cathy Diaz was great to work with. She shared great information about each bed and helped us to finalize our choices down to the bed linens and place the entire order easily. She is professional, extremely knowledgeable and goes the extra mile before and after delivery to make sure you are content with your purchase and that you have all your questions answered. Wonderful, caring customer service!

Most of my contacts at Avocado were with Melody. She was very supportive, understanding all my questions and responding quickly with accurate answers. The assembly of the foundation and the placement of the mattress on it were easy to do using the Avocado videos for guidance. We assembled it yesterday and will sleep on it tonight. An excellent experience so far.

My husband and I had a great experience today selecting a bed at the Avocado store in Corte Madera. The mattresses are of very good quality, and organic. Alex was so knowledgeable and helpful; he answered all of our questions, and explained clearly all of the product choices. He helped us find the best bed for our needs, and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Alex!
