Went here for my wife's bday and enjoyed it so much, we went back 2 weeks later, for my bday. The pool was large and lovely! Basketball was fun as well. As for the room, we got the Jacuzzi room, each time. Its a weird layout, but it's workable. Had my brother meet us at the poop for my bday and when it was shower, it was tough cause the shower is in the room in the open. So if you have guests over, they gotta wait outside till you're done. we always stay at Best Western cause they are pet friendly...

We stayed at the Corte Madera from July 9-11. We were traveling by car from Seattle with our daughter and her best friend, for medical imaging purposes. I booked a double queen room to make sure we were comfortable and had the bed sizes we needed. Upon check in we were assigned room 124. When we got to the room, I realized that it was full/double size beds instead of queens. I called the front desk and they could not switch us because the hotel was full. The BW app said I had booked double beds yet when I pulled up my confirmation email, I had in fact booked queens. The hotel changed them on their end without my knowledge. They said they think the change was made because I requested first floor near the pool. However I was not told that it would mean a change to the bed size, since apparently all first floor rooms are double beds only. I was told a manager would call me and have yet to receive a call. As for the room itself, the bathroom was extremely small. We could barely move around and dry off after the shower. It smelled extremely musty and there was paint peeling off in the shower. This hotel could use some serious upgrading. Not worth the money we paid at all. We shelled out $175/night (government rate!) and didn’t get a goods night sleep on either night because the beds were too small. The only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast and the pool.

The pool was fantastic and the other activities and amenities were great to have. Their breakfast was AMAZING, it made such a big difference to have so much wonderful food provided each morning!

If you have kids this is the place to stay! We had a basic double bed room on the lower floor. What I didn’t know was it had a back door that opened into the courtyard, complete with rocking chairs. It has a basketball hoop, mini putt putt, fire pit, ping pong, pool, hot tub, etc. Our kids had a blast. My only complaint was the best was on the hard side.

Great location to San Francisco (fast access), whirlpool tub in room, pool and hot tub outdoors, and breakfast included.

No EV car charging at this location. Excellent pool, hospitality and great breakfast except for a lack of pork sausage.

The pictures on the webpage are MUCH more flattering than real life. The hot tub(s) still are not in service as noted in other reviews 6mo+ ago. Overall, the staff was very friendly, but the property is dated, our room had an unpleasant odor, and worst of all we had no hot water and later no water pressure at all. Also had a few ants in the room. Team was responsive and did provide a discount for the water issue and the location is great with shopping and restaurants across the street, but this wouldn’t be my first choice next time.

They accommodated our big family group ( incl 2 dogs) after 8pm with no reservations, and bent over backwards to get us rooms for the next night when they anticipated being completely full. All amenities and services were top-notch!
The breakfast is served in a former restaurant, with lots of comfy seating.
You will love this place.

I am a repeat patron of this BW. The first couple of stays were incredible in service and rewards! They were booked as an evening drop in. I was upgraded and my expectations were more than met with the service experience I received. I just visited again but this time pre reserved my stay. I was told by the manager - no guarantees but they would do their best to accommodate my needs/ requests. I went in early to find out what room I would be getting, all was good. When I returned to register and pay, they had put me in a lower grade room with less accommodation, but told me it was an upgrade. Since I’m familiar with a few rooms, I knew it was not an upgrade and had to ask for a discounted rate. I was disappointed and let them know it. They did take $20 off and said to come back at 4:00pm when the room would be ready. When I canceled the second night, they immediately informed me the room they changed me to was ready.
Most likely I will stay again while visiting the area and I hope to have a more pleasant experience next time.

My wife and I really liked everything except the price. Despite the fact that the price in Google Maps was $164 per day, it actually turned out to be $210. Everything else: very convenient location, very good restaurants right across the road, a good mall and You can calmly take a walk before going to bed.

What a great place to stay! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, and there is a large outdoor pool to enjoy! I highly recommend this place!!
Nearby activities: Not far from Muir Woods, and wine country.

This is a gem in Marin County near shopping, restaurants, and literally feet from 101 South to go to SF. You pull out of the lot, make a left, a quick right and you’re on the highway. Breakfast was good, they have a huge swimming pool and a putting green if that interests you, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, and staff very friendly. I’d stay here again if I come back to the area.
