I went to the store in Corte Madera and have also gone to the one in San Rafael. These stores are primarily staffed by very young people, mostly males. They are consistently polite, helpful and Always make themselves available to help customers! They're terrific. Must mean there are good managers at these stores and good training of staff. The stores also are very well stocked. They always have any athletic-related item I'm looking for, from beach balls to shoe laces to badminton or bocce ball sets and on and on. It's amazing. Thank you, Big 5!!

I came in to buy Nike running glasses, and I'm really happy with my purchase. I get it, people would rather buy online these days. But I'm surprised by how often I need to stop in and buy something here. I don't shop a lot but when I do I tend to buy athletic items. I'll be coming back.

Staff are totally inattentive but perhaps that is a reflection on management? Store in chaos so allow time to find what you are looking for. This only applies to Corte Madera location as I’ve been happy at other Big 5 stores.
