Visited for the first time this past weekend with my wife and her younger brother. Amin took such good care of us, going the extra mile to ensure the best fit for my brother-in-law. Amin had helpful insights too, from the standpoints of tradition, preference, and current trends. Definitely recommend working with him for all fitting needs!We also learned that Bonobos saves all sizing information across all stores. This makes future purchases easier for my brother-in-law (as he's visiting from out of state) and for us (to buy future presents). Very handy.

I had a great experience at the Corte Madera store following a mistake on my order. I purchased an outfit I needed for 10/12. I received the order and they had sent the wrong jacket. I was afraid if I reordered on line I wouldn't get the the item delivered in time. I went to the Corte Madera store and received the best customer service from the manager. He was great and fixed my problem expertly on the spot. He went above and beyond in customer service. He really showed he cared about my issue.

Wow this place is a total grift. They're direct-ship only-- i.e. you can't actually buy and walk out with anything in the store. Sales guy had ample time to tell me this when I kept asking him if he had more sizes in back. But NO they only tell you at check-out; that's absolutely intentional. They want your email address and everything else they can possibly use to fingerprint you for ads and e-commerce.Also the dressing rooms don't have mirrors, they want you to come out so they can sell you. I get that online is eating brick-and-mortor (and to be fair Bonobos is one of those aggressive e-marketers). But this is straight-up grift, they're just looking for $100 bills to fall out of you like half the other stores in this mall.

Driving from SLO to Sonoma, I planned a trip to Bonobos to buy my guy what I was hoping were a few new fits. Unfortunately, the customer service was so abysmal that I left with nothing. When I walked in, the one staff member was helping someone. No problem, I needed to peruse through the clothing anyway. After that customer went into the dressing room, I gave the worker a few mins to come over...but she didn't. So, I walked up to her and said, "hi, may I ask you some questions?" She actually looked me up and down and said, "what?" I asked her my question, to which she certainly had limited knowledge of the answer for. I also asked her what style the mannequin's pants were and she didn't know. Okkkkkaaay. You don't wanna look? Cool! I ended up leaving, which was exceptionally disappointing, because I had built my whole trip up north around, stopping at the store. I was really looking forward to buying my guy some new clothes, but it wasn't in the cards.Not being greeted when walking into a store is one thing, but being just short of eye-rolled is another. With service like this, it's no wonder brick and mortars are closing. Pass this place like a hot potato!

Worst customer service in a store I have ever experienced. Upon entering I was asked if I thought I was in the right store. I asked to purchase a gift card for a dear friend. I purchased a gift card and gave it as a gift only to be embarrassed that the card didn't work and said it had zero dollars. I went back to the store and was greeted by the same young man that could care less that I was even there. I told him what happened and asked for my money back. He didn't even apologize or care to keep me as a customer. I will never go back to that store or purchase from the company again.

They must have made staff changes here based on the previous reviews. The two women I was greeted by today were delightful, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to enjoy working at this location. They were able help me find a gift for my son in law based off a photo! The store was very clean, smelled nice, and was nicely organized

Their slogan about better fitting menswear is a fact. Not only is the quality of their clothing top notch, the styles are timeless/elevated, and their business model is genius. I went in with what I thought was a tall order for an athletic slim trim body of 5’7” and a 32x30 bottom - a challenging fit based on past experiences. The goal was to wardrobe my partner Ben Faber who owns a top local real estate company to maximize his wardrobe to be as interchangeable as possible, timeless and sophisticated but not intimidating. I worked with Kelsey to make it happen. Based on our consultation and a photo of Ben, she quickly threw together a wardrobe for our review in store. Needless to say it was a slam dunk. Ben and I are not stylists so I requested she ship all items to store in order for her to review the outfits with Ben and I in a fit session. We made our appointment and due to our busy work schedules had to reschedule our appointment like 4 times and Kelsey didn’t bat an eye. Come appointment time, she had everything lined up ready to go, steamed and styled! The result? About 80% of items were perfect. We even ended up buying additional items in multiple colors! To add, the appointment was incredibly efficient resulting in Ben being in and out in 1 hour and getting an entire wardrobe!Lastly, as of it couldn’t get any better…Kelsey created us a personalized style guide with all our collection pieces so we know exactly how to style and interchange garments! Highly recommend to everyone seeking the best menswear around!

As an e-commerce brand Bonobos doesn't seem to really want you to come into their stores. Rude and incompetent describe repeated visits to this location. Hard to write this review because I like the brand and the product, but wow, the store experience not good.

Went in today to purchase a tuxedo. Immediately when I walked in it seemed like I was bothering the young man working there. You could tell he didn't want me there so I asked for my measurements and left to order everything online. A polar opposite experience from the SF location. In SF they actually wanted to help you and sell their product.

After just giving the Walnut Creek Store four stars (excellent service, problems with company execution of delivery), I have to give this store a low rating based on service alone. The clothes are still nice, as was the physical location, but the service was just awful. In some kinds of shops that would be okay because one can help themselves but, in this model of shopping, one really does need to have at least decent customer service. The young guy working there clearly did not want to be there, didn't want that job and was just indifferent about helping and pretty spacey. He didn't know much about suits and was just unhelpful. We wanted to try one thing that was only on a mannequin and he refused to take it off saying it was "too much work". This was despite us being ready to buy a whole suit and outfit and just wanting to see the color we were interested in. We also were promised a discount but he didn't know how to enter it in the register. When I called the store the next day to get the price adjusted as promised the next person I spoke to was surly and indifferent. Maybe there really is such a big labor shortage that the company is willing to just hire warm bodies but it is such a frustrating experience. If Bonobos wants to succeed with this uncommon business model they will have to improve the elements required to make it work - attentive and knowledgeable customer service and reliable delivery times and inventory.
