My experience with Marin Hearing Center and Andy in particular has been awesome. Andy cares deeply about his profession and helping hearing challenged people like me. He's knowledgeable and thorough and I am so fortunate to have Andy as my audiologist. I cannot recommend Andy and Marin Hearing Center highy enough. They are true caring professionals.

I have been going to Dr. Valla for probably eight years or more . besides being an excellent doctor of audiology, he makes every visit very pleasurable listens very carefully to you if you have any problems with your hearing aids and adjusts them to give me the best Hearing possible hearing My hearing aids have Bluetooth and my phone works through them from time to time my Phone messes up and I can call the office and Robin will always give me the time to walk me through how to connect it to my phone again She is amazing I would be lost without her. it is great in this day and age that there are still some businesses around that give you 100% every time I have no hesitation in recommending Marin Hearing centre

Have been seeing Doctor Valla for the past 8 years and the only change is his customer service gets better with each visit. Not only his personal but all his employees offer old school customer service.

I found Dr. Valla to be very informative, intelligent and very helpful plus really being a cool guy. His assistance with my hearing has changed my life! I highly recommend him and his very efficient & friendly office. He will find the right device for you that will be custom made just for your ears.

Full disclosure, the last time I had a hearing test was back in Elementary School. Think giant headphones and the classic left-right pointing at sounds – one of those rare tests I could totally ace without any prep!
Fast forward many, many years, and here I am at Marin Hearing Center. (Note: Keep your eyes peeled on your trusty mapping app because finding this place can be a bit of an adventure, but trust me, it’s worth it!)
The journey started with a seamless and super friendly pre-visit call, complete with an online form that was a breeze to fill out. Unlike many places I’ve been to (and I’ve been to quite a few!), I was thrilled not to have to repeat the same old info.
Walking into their stylishly decked-out office, I was greeted by the same warm and welcoming staff. Loving the vibe here, and spotting a bowl of mints only added to the charm.
Dr. Rouse took me through a thorough and caring examination, far from the routine checks of the blue-haired school nurses from back in the day. His explanations were crystal clear, and I walked away learning way more than I would have from binge-watching YouTube videos.
As the years go by, I’ve come to realize just how precious good hearing is and how to hang onto it for as long as nature allows. Big thanks to MHS for the top-notch care!

Like many people, I had procrastinated about getting hearing aids. When I finally started researching it, I was overwhelmed with the many choices.A friend recommended Marin Hearing Center. I had a great experience there!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The audiologist I saw , Kim Hoppin, was highly knowledgeable, and patiently answered all of my many questions/concerns.The fine tuning they did to make sure that the hearing aids were perfect for my particular needs really showed their professionalism and dedication.I highly recommend them. In fact, if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!!!

Having suffered from a severe hearing loss for many years, the only thing standing between me and the need for a cochlear implant is the great team at the Marin Hearing Center. Dr. Andrew Valla is a highly skilled audiologist with extensive experience in the nuances and complications of the major hearing aid systems. He is highly adept at fine tuning the instruments to obtain the optimal overall hearing improvement while carefully observing the sound quality and comfort level for the end user. Andrew is personable, generous and will work tirelessly toward a positive outcome. Dr. Kim Zeller Hoppin is equally skilled and caring and is purposefully up to date on the latest technological advances and clinical trials in the field. Both Andrew and Kim have close ties with Stanford and UCSF, should the situation warrant. Robin, the office manager, makes sure that the operation runs smoothly and efficiently. This is undoubtedly the best option for hearing assistance in Marin county.

Dr. Valla and Robin Casper went way out of their way to help with an emergency problem with an my hearing aid. They were willing and kind, and it’s a 100% professional place. Whole-hearted recommendation.

They will not take you on as a patient unless you've bought hearing aids from them or else paid them $750 per hearing aid bought elsewhere. We are happy to pay for services, but since we do not need new hearing aids---switching is mainly geographic---we will NOT be using them.

SUCH great things to say! I was so impressed. I never write reviews but I genuinely had an amazing experience here and had to write one. The doctor was genuinely interested and talked with me about everything, explained what all the graphs meant, and was overall so nice. Can't recommend enough! Also I didn't feel rushed through at all like at many other dr appts, it was so great he really took his time and did a thorough job. It was great.
