My F Type R soft top was damaged while here for repair. Management accepted liability and said they'd make it right. After 6 months of back and forth, management is now asking I spend $1500 towards the labor costs to fix the soft top of my $100k vehicle. Even corporate is at a loss for words, and has recommended I contact the Bureau of Automotive Repair and hire an attorney to seek reimbursement.Skip this criminal dealership and go to the San Francisco location.

I am bit of a nervous driver so buying a new car was very intimidating . That is ,until I met Jeff Gwynn at Marin Luxury Cars. Jeff is kind, patient, cool and confident . He has a genuine love of cars and driving - his expertise and certainty gave me the heart to say "YES THIS IS THE CAR FOR ME " and I am thrilled to be the proud owner of a sharp black on Black Land Rover Evoque . Loving driving it and feel pretty cool and confident myself now. Thanks Jeff for being so good at what you do.

Mo Faiez, was my initial sales associate who went out of his way to surprise me with an epic 2020 Jaguar F-Pace Sport Edition that he thought was not on the lot but later found after walking the lot. Nicholas Napolitano, Travis Feasel, and Vince Vandell, all have been outstanding with making me feel important after my purchase and all of them have gone out of their way to make this happen from making sure my car is washed and cleaned and refueled every time I come in, they all have made my first time buying experience a good one . Also I want to mention that Matt Quinn Has been outstanding as well and making sure I have been taken care of in the service department from giving me information on my car to just chatting with me about random things about cars and accessories. All the above mentioned employees deserve high praise and appreciation thanks to all of them for my first bougie luxury car buying experience

These guys have had about 18 months of being the most consistent, professional, attentive, and competent service department in the San Francisco Bay Area, for any make or model of car. I am continually impressed, and since Vince got on board as the head service rep, they've consistently hired and retained the best and smartest, namely Matt Quinn. Really thrilled to still be part of their team, as a customer. Cheers all.

Dealing with a car dealer is usually one the least enjoyable experiences one can have. Not so at Marin luxury cars. I purchased a very hard to find Lexus model from them last week. The experience was actually enjoyable down to the finance guy. Everyone I dealt with were like me, car guys--very knowledgable. Special call out to Mo. Highly recommended.

I have thought long and hard before posting this review but I believe their customers and future customers deserve to be warned. This review is long but worth the read to save you headaches and stress. The service department is completely dishonest, attempts to scam, and screen calls so you cannot get a hold of them.During covid 2/14/2021 I bought a range rover sport from this dealership and even paid a mark up which I had no problem with. My vehicle is always valet parked or garage kept and currently has 4,100 miles. Here is the situation:On 1/24/2023 my wife took our brand new 2022 land rover range rover sport in for a parking guidance fault issue. Our service advisor made up and attempted to scam my wife by telling us that the vehicle was scuffed or hit which knocked a sensor out of place. The service advisor WESLEY CARROL and service department purposely screen calls to ignore their customers. If I tried to call on block number it will go to a busy tone. They basically ignored me for 3 days until I told them I am coming to get my car and gave false updates of when I should be picking up my vehicle. So everyday that I was suppose to get my vehicle, I could not REACH anyone and received a generic text after RESCHEDULING multiple meetings over and over. Wesley finally claimed that the tech/mechanic fixed my vehicle which was FALSE. They pointed to a water mark which they claimed to have damaged the "sensor" which was false, tried to make it seem like the dealer did a "favor" for fixing it for free under warranty instead of charging us. I asked for pictures of the sensor being knocked and they couldn't to provide it, asked for some sort of CCTV recording of how my rear bumper got scratched which they did not provide. Only picture I received was his attempt to find a little spec which was a water mark that wiped off when I picked up my vehicle. If I did not step in to take care of this matter my wife would have been blamed and charged for a simple warranty claim.After taking my vehicle home I realized that my ENTIRE vehicle parking sensor, guidance, and rear traffic detection has not been fixed. I only went in for the rear detection fault but ended up having everything not work. My rear bumper got completely scratched from the tech/mechanic. See pictures below...This service dealership is dishonest, bills their corporate hours for fake "hours performed" on the vehicle, screens their customers calls, fails to provide any updates prior to fixing or attempting to fix the vehicle. I have pictures/ text messages, dishonest about what got replaced and tries to hide their mistakes while blaming the customer. If you're wondering how I know that the hours are B.S. I got 4 quotes from 4 different certified land rover mechanics just to prove my point. I am very fortunate I am educated in the electronic field & mechanical field. Their attempt to lie, damages done to my vehicle, and dishonesty to their "valued" customers is a serious problem for this dealership. Marin Luxury cars should be audited for all of their repairs, especially those under warranty since they bill corporate because the first work order are complete lies to what Wesley told me. The service manager asked to give them a second chance, which I did because the damages has been done so what more can they actually mess up? They eventually fixed the issue because the tech/mechanic was careless, & attempted to detail or buff my entire car to remove the scratches done to the rear but they are still visible. What rubbed me the wrong way is when the service manager said " I will give you the VIP treatment, we will get it right, blah blah blah" I believe ALL customers should be treated well and not have to go through something like this in order to get a "VIP treatment." I'm glad that I stood my ground and did not fall for Wesley B*ullsh*t. Regardless if a car is old or new customers should be treated with respect and honesty. My advice is to not service your vehicle here, if you do and WESLEY

Josh at Marin Luxury Cars so was so helpful! I have been chasing down a hybrid Rax4 for a couple of weeks when I found one at Marin Luxury Cars. Josh was quick to respond to my information request and had the car pulled around front by the time I arrived. He was very helpful and honest about the purchasing process. Gave me great advice regarding my old car and what to do with it. He was pleasant, personable and I did not have to worry that I was being taken advantage of. He reached out the following morning to make sure everything was good. I would recommend asking for Josh if Marin Luxury Cars has the car you want!

Definitely think twice about buying a Land Rover here if this is where you plan on getting it serviced. Vince is the director and he is obviously not putting the customers first. Recommended 1) trading it in 2) a $9k job before understanding what the problem was. Turns out it’s a $1.5k job—if you go somewhere else.Also, he kept my car for 2 weeks and no one would return my phone calls for days while I was waiting.

Volvo Marin has got to be the worst dealership I’ve ever worked with. Every time I took my Volvo for service, it was returned with an issue. The sales staff is rude and predatory, not acknowledging opt-outs of communication. The only reason why I continued with them is out of convenience.They also will not allow me to return my leased vehicle because I purchased it from a separate dealership, which is against their own and corporate Volvo policy.Avoid this place at all costs and go to another Volvo dealership in the area if you want to buy/lease a vehicle.

I was desperately hunting for a really hard to get part for our new Defender literally all over the west coast and the south west US (darned global supply chain problems). I was having no luck, and though I initially was told by Jen S. at Marin Land Rover 's Parts dept that sadly they didn't have the part available, she still took the time to do a search and directing me to other LR dealerships that might have the part on hand. I was almost going to pick up the part in Texas (yes, I was that desperate, I was resigned to driving all the way out there!) when Jen S. called me back out of the blue. She had remembered that I had called about the part and dug through the call logs by hand to dig up my number. Jen let me know that she had the part available after someone else had cancelled their order. Now THAT's service!!! And we didn't even buy our Defender from Marin LR. I am so very impressed that Jen S. not only went to so much effort to help someone who was a new customer but someone who hadn't even bought their Land Rover from their dealership. She completely made my week and saved me a huge hassle/super long drive to get the part I needed. Thank you thank you thank you!! I'm truly grateful and impressed! Dave Newport Beach, CA

I have taken our family cars here for 20+ years, since they were Volvo Marin. The finance department led by Oscar is the best; the service department headed by Wes has been exceptional; and Tim who heads up the customer service transportation is incredible! I would NEVER take our Volvos and Jaguars to any other dealer period!!!

My recent LR purchase with Jared was great. He was knowledgeable and made the sale process smooth. He went above and beyond to help close the deal on a Sunday. I will keep them in mind for my next automotive purchase.
