“My first time exchanging money here went really well. I was directed here by my bank. It's conveniently located across the street from the Mandarin Hotel. It was a random Monday afternoon so it wasn't exactly bustling with people. The lady behind the counter was extremely kind and helpful. I exchanged $200 USD for RMB and the transaction cost me $3. From what I've heard, other banks do exchanges with minimal charges but if they don't, give this place a try.”
