Seven years ago I attended a Bradford Tax Institute seminar at our real estate association. Previously had done my own taxes but when income started rising, I new that I needed help with deductions. Georgia was one of their recommended agents and I have been using her ever since. What prompts my current review, is that today I sat in another Bradford Tax Institute seminar regarding the tax changes that went into effect last year. Felt that I was very knowledgeable and knew most of the deductions due to working with Georgia. Georgia is sharp and her prices seem very fair - have been very happy with her work for the past 7 years.

Georgia has been helping prepare our small business and individual tax returns for years. She's nice, very sharp, and gets the job done well at a reasonable rate. I think her middle name is "loophole." I really enjoy her company and when she's saving me money I cannot help but leave with a smile. On a sour note, we met recently and she ran the numbers for 2016 and our taxable income would have been $18K more because state and local taxes are no longer exemptions... and mortgage interest is capped at $10K. We would have owed over $2K more under the new plan. The new GOP tax plan may be a tough blow for working class Californians with mortgages. If I only had a private jet - there's a great new exemption for that! In April, 2019, I fear there will be a rough wake-up call for many Americans. Talk to Georgia if you want to be prepared.
