Imagine going to the post office and being told you can’t mail something because they don’t have stamps then being told to go to another post office because they keep stamps. 🤯 Worst Post Office in the country. *** I didn’t write a review the first time it happened, but after the second time, I realize this isn’t an anomaly it’s a trend.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at USPS - Corte Madera
I have never encountered such unprofessional and unhelpful service at a USPS office as we did during our recent visit. My wife and I had scheduled an appointment to obtain a passport for our son, who is under two years old, but the experience was unnecessarily stressful due to the lack of proper accommodations and the behavior of the attendant.
The staff member assisting us appeared frustrated and impatient throughout the process, seemingly overwhelmed because our baby was understandably scared and crying. She also struggled with operating the camera in continuous shooting mode, which is essential when photographing young children. To make matters worse, the office lacked basic accommodations for infant photography, such as a highchair, forcing us to sit on the floor and attempt to position our child against a wall near the mailboxes.
Rather than offering support or understanding, the attendant continued to question my wife about our son’s crying, showing little empathy for the situation. Her demeanor made it clear that she was more concerned with finishing her shift than ensuring a smooth experience for customers.
This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. As parents, we expected a more professional and accommodating approach, especially for services involving young children. We sincerely hope that USPS will take steps to improve both customer service and the resources available for passport appointments involving infants.

I can’t say enough great things about my local post office and, especially, my postman, Yadau Oja. I’ve lived in Marin for years, and he’s hands down the best postman I’ve ever had. He’s reliable, friendly, and goes above and beyond every single day.
Yadau has been a huge part of my business’s growth from the very beginning. He always shows up on time, picks up every package without fail, and never hesitates to offer a kind word or encouragement. He’s seen my business grow from the ground up, and he genuinely celebrates each milestone with me.
Having someone like Yadau on your route isn’t just a convenience—it’s an asset. His dedication and positivity make such a difference, and I’m incredibly grateful for his service.
Thank you, Yadau, and thank you to my local post office for being such an important part of my journey!

On East Corte madera hillside we have a regular delivery person Yadau Oja that is highly appreciated for the effort of work furious, pick up scheduled items everyday with smile and scan them in place before moving into truck, he is always on time and have a good work etiquette toward his responsibility no matter sometimes it might be too much but he is willing to do and grow in this business.
I found Corte Madera employees at the front desk very hard worker and nice who are willing to help anytime I was there. Thank you all.
Yadau is an asset of our town and we are lucky to have him in our neighborhood.

They just held a package at the post office instead of delivering it and said I asked them to. Untrue. Never got any notice on my door of attempted delivery, nothing. No communication at all with me. Just decided to hold it and make me come get it. Item is worth 20bucks. I live in an extremely safe neighborhood and am always home as im retired.

I had some concerns about this
Post Office after reading some of the reviews, but my whole outlook changed after I visited. The agent who helped me fill out my Passport Application was thorough and helpful the entire time.
She was nice but a little direct and firm during
the appointment so I can totally understand how someone could interpret that as her being rude or mean.
As I am constantly reminded, don't believe everything you read on the internet

I go out of my way to visit this post office location. The employees are knowledgeable, quick and get the job done. There's not a single employee there I don't like and respect. They know what they are doing and don't put up with jerks.

We Deliver for You - not! I hate to post a bad review because the staff was friendly, courteous, and spent a lot of time looking for my package, but it's lost. It was reported ready for pickup at my P.O. box, but in three trips to the post office no one could find it. I was told to submit a missing mail request online, and spent another half hour filling out all the boxes until the form was happy, clicked Submit, and got an unhelpful error message. So the shipper will have to give me a refund because it won't be worth their time to try to submit a claim. Post office? Pissed office.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SEND ANYTHING. This place couldn't care any less if you get your package. I mailed my sister a wedding gift and it was lost. Post man scans it near his truck and that is supposed to be acceptable for me to know it made it to the right condo. They don't use common sense like amazon and take a picture at the door so there is no question. The $100 insurance is an absolute LIE! Josefina, the manager I guess, has the nerve to say well it is scanned is your word against his. WHAT?? Scanned a couple hundred yards aways tells us both NOTHING! Then she says try to file another claim like the hours Ive spent mean nothing. This place is an absolute disaster. Then corporate asked me via email how the claim went numerous times and they do nothing after numerous complaints. Do yourself a favor and go to UPS and get a signature request if you care about your package getting to where you intended.

I popped in to get my passport, since this was the only spot with a free slot. Managed to whisk up a money order right away for my application. A little tip? Be an early bird for your appointment! The vibes weren't all rainbows and butterflies, but I fluttered through without a hitch!

The place will ruin your good mood... and any plans of a quick post office errand run.Long lines from employees not working and bickering in the back room. The customers can all hear you...There is no self-service kiosk, so you can't even help yourself...Attempted to buy 1 stamp.. charged for a whole sheet.Attempted to get prepaid label printed. Won't print it unless I buy a roll of tape to close off small portion of my package first. Wanted the label... go home, get tape, and just drop off next time so I don't have to wait... nope.I saw passport folks just standing and waiting forever.Bad representation of usps.I could not have left a review, but this place just piss me off and wastes everyone's time.

My bf and I had to drive to Corte Madera, because this was the only place near our area that had the soonest available appointment for passport. We had an 11:30am appointment, we had most of our documents, but had to go to a UPS store to print out additional items. In the beginning the service was a little weird, because we had multiple people help us. Due to breaks or something. This one guy Tim, who I think may have been the manager, was slightly rude. After talking to us and discovering that we needed additional paperwork, he gave a suggestion to who to call and where to go. He then asked us if we were in a hurry to get back, when we said no... he said "go take care of this and have some lunch. Come back around 2. I need to eat lunch too because I am very hangry right now" he wasn't totally lying! The best part was that the fact that he admitted to it, I wasn't so annoyed anymore. Also he was an elderly kind of man, so him saying "hangry" made me laugh. When we got back around 2. The vibe was definitely different. It was more cheerful... he saw us and shouted "oooooh there you guys are ! I thought you weren't coming back" he cracked a few jokes, so did some of his co workers... it was definitely a different vibe. Just a suggestion, don't noon appointments around the lunch hour .... They get hangry LoL
