Tried calling the store & went through their phone tree & the selection I picked for the department I needed stated the extension was invalid. I went through menu again & chose different department & I got the same message. I finally just randomly picked a selection & I was left on hold with no one checking in with me. I presume they forgot about me or left me there on purpose hoping I would give up & hang up. Very unprofessional & poor customer service. Fix your phone tree.

Jacob at Ted Baker London is amazing! Me and my family were visiting from Texas today and his knowledge of the industry and styling tops any luxury department store I have ever been too and he treats me and my family like royalty! (which is a breath of fresh air). As someone who comes from a family who may not be the most glamorous I truly appreciate how he never judges a book by its cover. Jacob used to be at my favorite store in Dallas and me and me and my husband just had to see which wardrobe pieces he would recommend! He has a customer for life and I can’t wait for my next trip to the South Coast Plaza Shopping District! Beautiful mall ?

Wow...gone the days that associates would say hi or even acknowledge you. I come here couple of times a month to get my Nespresso coffee. The boutique has great service but Bloomingdale's employees just look at you in the eye and pass by without saying a word.

Amazing the best Bloomingdale’s. They have very beautiful and unique home accessories. I was crazy . Today I bought many beautiful items for my kitchen . Very friendly staff.Updated:there are good pre-holiday discounts. There was a 40% discount on designers.

I have been a customer of Bloomingdale's for well over twenty years. I started shopping at Bloomingdale's after I graduated from law school and was in need of a professional wardrobe. I have lived in Washington, DC and Chicago, and very much enjoyed shopping at the Bloomingdale's stores in those two areas. I also looked forward to my visits to Manhattan which, if time allowed, would end with a wonderful visit to the flagship store. I have easily spent tens of thousands of dollars at Bloomingdale's over the years. I have now lived in Southern California for a few years, and this Bloomingdale's customer service leaves much to be desired. About a year ago, I ordered some shoes online and then returned them shortly thereafter. I didn't like them. The employee examined these shoes, and me, as if I had stolen them. He finally accepted them for return. Yesterday, I returned a jacket that did not fit. I had also ordered this jacket online. I asked a gentleman in the men's department to help me with the return. He was standing around and not busy. He directed me to customer service. I asked him why he could not help. He huffed, went over to his register, and again interrogated me as to why I was returning the piece of clothing. It was not a pleasant experience. I actually thought that my experiences were due to being a black man. Some of that is probably mixed into my experience. However, from what other people have said, this Bloomingdale's generally has a horrible customer service problem. Most people who shop at this mall can likely afford to go to any merchant they choose. Skip the headache and go to Nordstrom, or any of the higher end stores in that mall.

Not a great selection. And their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Cannot recommend. There are so many better stores in the area.

Horrible and rude. Tried to return in a bag in perfect condition and they didn't consider it "sale-able" which is totally up to their discretion. My bag fine but I think they didn't want to lose out on the commission.Horrible service.

Why would the website allow you to initiate a return, give you a QR Code, direct you to a store, only to have a store representative tell you because it's past 90 days, they cannot process the return.

I almost never review anything, especially not department stores, but my experience at the Bloomingdale’s in South Coast Plaza this past weekend warrants a 5 star review. Most often when I shop in-store, I find sales personnel overlook me or look at me from head to toe and give me a look of “she’s not worth my time” - I’m a 5’5 slender Chinese woman with glasses, usually in Birkenstocks.This weekend I needed some beauty items and was looking for a pair of earrings. The sales associates at Bloomingdale’s Beauty and Jewelry departments went above and beyond to recommend and assist me. At no point did I feel overlooked or diminished because of my average appearance in the sea of gorgeous and wealthy-looking people shopping at South Coast. I’m impressed by Bloomingdale’s and this will be my department store of choice from now on.

Customer service could be better friendlier and more polite towards customers. The sales rep was a little rude to us and looked us like we’re not gonna shop or buy anything at the. but for his surprise, we did purchased several items, cologne and shoes that retails for $1000 or more.

Beautiful store, clean and fresh. The best experience was my interaction with the security representative at the entrance, he was very professional and polite. Love me some Bloomingdales !
