Love CB2 and have for years. I have numerous pieces from them for 2 bathrooms I remodeled & my Studio. Mirrors, light fixtures, hardware, decor, light bulbs (especially the gold tipped bulb), shelving & more! Recently, I popped in to get another replacement bulb and was told they were out of stock by a manager, kind of dismissive, not at all friendly. Started talking to another associate, I think her names Rachel/Raquel Boy she made this happen. Radioed the stock room got the guy to looking and sure enough they had them in stock! Hope she stays. Very friendly & helpful!! I hope the store stays too. It's wonderful to have a brick and mortar location that I can go in and visit and see things in person rather than ordering online which is what I was originally told to do about the bulbs, but I can do that with Amazon~ No Thanks, I'd rather be in person. Even w/ that manager. Still love the store!!

Zero stars. Trying to get money back for a purchase that hasn't shipped. It's been over 4 days. CB2 corporate says it's up to the store but the store says to call CB2 Corp cust sevice. It's going in circles and they still have my $2,000. A manager just says all the typical corporate stuff but won't give a date when the refund will be issued and does nothing except to read notes from the computer. At one point I was told it would be resolved in 24-48 hours but after 48 hours it's still not resolved and no sign of when I will get my money back. Two thumbs down.

I LOVEEE CB2 and I especially love it because of Jose. He's helped me with most of the items I have. He's patient and sometimes I don't necessarily need his design suggestions but he just listens and he's so easy going. Recently I wanted to order a set of chairs and I called the store because I wanted to have them shipped to the store for me to pick up. The associate I spoke to said this wasn't possible and left it at that. I thought to myself Jose would always find a way to make it happen. So, naturally I emailed him and he promptly responded and made it happen. I don't know why I didn't think to write him first and save me the time of getting frustrated. Everything about CB2 is CHIC but Jose helps take it to another level. THANKS JOSE!!

Awful. Renee needs basic training on customer service and how to do her job. We were interested in purchasing 4 clear old fashioned glasses and instead of letting us purchase them off the shelf, she said she'd get new ones from the back. Fine. She took the glass we wanted and came back with 4 in a box. She rang us up, the receipt showed we bought the clear glasses bc she rang up the glass on her hand, but we get home only to find that she packed us the wrong glasses!! Did you not even check the glasses before throwing them in the bag?! I called the store and spoke to Renee directly and she told us there was nothing she could do. Her suggestion was to call customer service to "maybe" get a ship label and then once returned, I could call her back to place an order for the correct ones. Yeah right. You should have eaten the cost of your mistake and shipped out the brand new glasses. Avoid Renee when you're in the store.

Great store with beautiful furniture and accessories! Never too busy at this location and the service is friendly. Prices are a bit high but the quality is well worth the splurge. These are timeless pieces that will last three years to come. Worth checking out if you're looking to upgrade or furnish your home!

recently had the worse experience at CB2, since I started dealing with them, Victor the manager was so unprofessional and rude in his dealing with us, It was evident from the moment I approached him that he had no interest in providing a positive experience or even basic curtsy Victor not only was unhelpful, but he also seemed annoyed by my inquiries. He answered my questions with a condescending tone and an air of superiority, as if my presence was an inconvenience to him. His dismissive attitude made me feel unwelcome and discouraged me from exploring the store further or making any purchase. It was bad to see someone in a customer-facing role display such a lack of professionalism or even a simple smile In a customer-facing business, the role of a manager should be to ensure that customers have a positive experience, but Victor failed miserably. I left the store feeling frustrated, disrespected, and with no intention of returning or recommending the store to others I strongly urge the store to reevaluate their customer service practices to ensure that future customers do not have to endure a similar disappointment, even though I will make sure to spread that review everywhere .

I recently ordered the Titus Round blackened cast aluminum side table. It was damaged from the wrapping when I got it home from the store and after putting a cell phone on top of it the black finish came off the top of the table leaving white marks. I used my decorator and she returned it to the store, asking for a manager. The manager was very rude to her and said we would have to pay a fee to order a new one (restocking as we loved the table and did not save the box) and she would not give us a credit to return it! The store did not give the decorator her discount and charged her the full price which had been reduced from $399 to $319.20. Neither she nor I will ever purchase anything from this company again that does not stand by its products and has sells defective merchandise!! BE WARE!!!

Stay away from Victor. He said he was the manager. I call BS. I tried to return a duvet because it was falling apart. I was within 3 weeks. He told me I could not because it did not have the original tags on it. He began shouting at me and told me that this was on the receipt I was given. I looked at the receipt and it said no so thing. I have spent over $10k at CB2 and you just lost my business. I left feeling terrible.

Had such a wonderful experience shopping at this CB2 location. Monika was extremely helpful with my purchase today! She readily answered all questions and was able to offer a very appropriate alternate suggestion for furnishing one of my balconies as an additional option to consider. Monika was fabulous with helping even after making my purchase. I'd initially planned on picking up tomorrow but was able to make arrangements for pick up the same day. Note that this was a rather large outdoor couch that would need to be wrapped then brought to the lower level pick up area. After calling to inquire regarding the possibility of an earlier pick-up, Monika was able to arrange for the couch to be ready within an hour. Also wanted to share that the overall in-store experience was great too. This location is spacious and fully stocked with decorative accessories shown online as it can be helpful to actually scope them out in person. The store and furniture layout also made it very comfortable to navigate the store despite a fair number of customers simultaneously shopping. Wish I obtained her name but there was another helpful associate, who I'm guessing may have been the manager? She made sure I was maximizing the discounts available and was so pleasant to interact with. The store is immaculately maintained and everyone was welcoming and readily accessible, without the uncomfortable hovering, throughout the entire shopping experience. I'm an avid online shopper as it's often more convenient, but this CB2 was worth the drive from L.A. as the in-store shopping experience was stellar!

Been a loyal customer for years and unfortunately due to their lack of accountability in a situation that was clearly their error, there was zero accountability. I love the aesthetic of the brand, but the lack of service has turned me off completely. I would urge others to NOT shop at CB2 in Costa Mesa.

I had my eyes set on these beautiful outdoor loungers for sometime. I already had another set which were similar looking so I wasn’t sure if I could justify purchasing these but upon looking them up online everyday for many months, I knew I had to get them. About 6 months after I had them delivered, I started noticing how rusty it was becoming. My older (and cheaper!) loungers never had this problem so I contacted CB2. I was told that they weren’t able to help in any way because I did not have them covered. They blamed extreme weather but I reminded them that I live in California. Then they blamed it on the humidity of living near the ocean. I once again told them that I lived inland, more than an hour away from the ocean. They still insisted that it was my fault for not having it covered. I wonder how much I was supposed to have it covered when our pool is being used most of the year as it is heated. My cheaper loungers from Wayfair have no sign of rust even after being uncovered and outdoor for much longer. I guess I won’t be buying much from CB2 especially after such horrible customer service.

Purchased a wall mirror that had to be ordered. Estimated delivery is late August or early September. Store asked for full payment however receipt states "for out of stock items, we require a 50% deposit to reserve incoming inventory, when entire order is in stock ready for delivery, you will be automatically be charged the remaining balance due. When I brought this to the managers attention I was told this policy applies to furniture and not decor, which is not stated anywhere on receipt. Store/company does not honor their written policies so not sure what is policy and what is not. In closing, buyer beware of this store. Disappointing affiliation with Crate and Barrel.
