I was in and out of the dealership in 2 hours. Amazing experience and very upfront. Dealers were honest, the car was amazing and everything I wanted in it.

What a horrible experience. Bought a lemon from them. The transmission kept failing on a brand new 2023 Silverado and they could not get it fixed, even after replacing the transmission with a new one (or so they said). My main complaint is that they kept giving me back a truck that was not repaired. This happened 3 times! And this took place over a time period of 3 months with no loaner ever offered to us so we had to provided our own alternate transportation. After the 3 months we had to get with GM to repurchase the vehicle from us. That was a whole other fiasco in itself. Connell Chevrolet made no attempts to make things right with us and the taste in our mouths is so bad we will most likely never buy another GM product.

Sonny was a big help when I was in the dealership, being patient and answering my questions but I didn't leave with a vehicle. I gave him my contact information which turned to be a mistake. This salesman proceeded to text me nonstop for two weeks getting upset when I wouldn't respond. I get he has to make a living but he comes off as extremely rude and desperate when contacting me over the phone. I finally told him off and told him to stop contacting me. He told me he would stop and take me off some list. However, Sonny still sends me emails even when I have told him to stop. Nice guy but extremely unprofessional and doesn't seem to know how to listen to people when they tell him to stop contacting me.

Wasted my time and switched sales people while they lowballed my trade. The guy who told me one number magically had to leave when i was almost there. Typical dealer experience. Then it sure looks like they sold my phone number also! Garbage. Stay away.

Never bought a car there not do I plan on doing so. However, MEGA-KUDOS to their parts department!!! A fellow by the name of Vince went an extra mileand helped me replace a defective AC/DELCO battery that I bought in Walmart, which had a 36-month warranty. Another couple of GM dealerships refused to help but Connel came through. If were considering a Chevy, I'd definitely consider them.(BTW, thanks for nothing, Walmart! You're useless.)

My salesman chris was absolutely amazing. He will be the reason I will return for another purchase. I ordered my 2024 ZL1 A few months before arriving. He was really good at keeping me updated on when it would arrive. I made the comment to him that I never purchased a vehicle off the showroom floor. He made sure when I got there. The car was sitting on the showroom floor. Which I thought was really cool.

It can be nerve wracking to find a trustworthy place that's both dependable and affordable - but that's exactly what I've been lucky to find at Connell Chevrolet. Special shoutout to Mike and Jesse in service who truly have your best interest in mind, and work to find ways to solve any issues with the highest level of professionalism, kindness, and expertise. Because of the repeated level of excellent service I've received from them, and how they always find a way to give me the best possible deal they can, I have complete trust in them, which is something I'm truly grateful for. I know my Avalanche is in the best hands!

Never been to Connell Chevrolet or Costa Mesa but wanted to share a cool story with your team.We very recently purchased our dream car. This is our beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/435 coupe in rally red with side exhaust, power steering and power brakes. This beauty was originally purchased by Mr.Brian Keys at Connell Chevrolet in 1967. It still has its California air injector.I would like to get further info on its original owner as there is a 40 year gap in the documentation. The car has had a complete frame off restoration (engine & transmission too) with only the top C2 Corvette specialists in the USA. It has been crowned NCRS Top Flight (98.8% result) and Bloomington Gold. The vehicle is literally in pristine condition while being Barrett-Jackson & Meccum auction worthy.Have a great dayMathieu ChaputMontréal, Québec, Canada

Brian welcomed us and made us feel confident about the entire transaction from the begging! He listen to our needs and found the perfect truck for us, Luis at the finance desk was such a professional gentleman and made the signing process a breeze.I will be buying more in the future and would highly recommend Connell Chevrolet to my friends and family. Everyone inside the dealership greeted us and their customer service skills were sharp and welcoming, thank you for such a great experience!Eduardo and Linda Cirilo

Although I wasn’t happy that the charging cord (which had to be replaced) was $750 — I was very happy with the people I worked with — most particularly Mike Burroughs (the service consultant). Mike is obviously extraordinarily busy — but took the time to answer my questions and explain very professionally and without making me feel like I was imposing on him. (Notably this is sharply in contrast with my experiences with Simpson Chevrolet in Irvine — which is why I switched my business to Connell this year — and very happy that I did so!)

I love Mike Burroughs and he always goes above and beyond. Wherever he goes I will follow. DO NOT LOSE HIM!!!! Tim Connell is also my go to guy for a new rig. Bought 2 rigs from him and will continue to do so as long as he is there. Chevy through and through. I live in Aliso Viejo and get all my work done there at Connell. THE BEST!!!

I visited Connell Chevrolet yesterday to look at a 2023 Chevy Z71. A salesman was assisting me. We looked at the vehicle, I told him my financial parameters, he came back from management and said it was not possible. That part was fine, totally normal. We shook hands and I left. I then received a call on a Saturday, I was at my son's baseball game, and the salesman offered me more of a discount. Great, I was starting to like this guy, he was working to make the deal happen. We were now at $2K off and I was seeking $5K. We still had a $3k difference between me purchasing the vehicle and not purchasing the vehicle. I really liked the truck they had, so I found a potential way around their dismal trade in offer by going to a Carmax type of set up. That company gave me a great online quote, which would have allowed me to bypass the Connell trade-in part of the deal. I then drove to the Connell dealership and called the salesman from the parking lot (before I went inside with my checkbook) and confirmed 1) that the vehicle was still there (yes it was), 2) that the $2K he offered on Saturday was still valid (yes it was) and 3) that I had an offer on my vehicle at x-amount and if they could match it I could make the deal happen now (yes, of course, we'll match it - was the answer) . This salesman was not in the office, however, he was on his day off so he sent me to his "associate". Associate showed me the vehicle again, we went back and sat at his desk and he went to management to get the paperwork. He came back saying "Oh, this JUST happened today, but we can't offer that $2k anymore, and it will cost $5k over and above what we mentioned before, due to inventory issues". He said "every Chevy dealership is doing this as of today". Which, wasn't true in the least. Simpson Chevrolet was doing this too, but as far as I knew, that's the only one. What they didn't know is I was talking to several other dealerships at the same time and they didn't have those parameters.... But I don't blame him, I think he was just a young kid doing what management said to do; job security, I get it. Anyway, the paperwork also showed that they weren't going to match the offer I had on my vehicle, when, if you remember, 45 minutes ago the salesman assured me they would. So, in 45 minutes, this process went from "of course we'll honor the $2K reduction and we'll match your trade in" to "no we won't honor the $2K reduction, we'll add $5k instead and we won't match your trade in". It wasn't a pleasant situation in the least. This kind of bait and switch is the exact reason car dealerships get a bad reputation. And to be fair, I don't even think it was either salesman's fault. My guess is that management gave him leeway to bait me in, and when we got to the table to sign, they shut it down. Needless to say, I left unhappy. Bottom line, I do not recommend this dealership. PS - I chose to not use names in this review. I am not happy with the people that helped me, but my gut says they weren't in on it. I know they are all trying to make a living and I will sleep better thinking all of these decisions came down from management.

Pastor Ramos helped my husband and I with our car buying experience. We came in and told Pastor we wanted no down payment on our Traverse, and he did not pressure us to give any down. Pastor worked efficiently with what we had and was transparent throughout the process. He even helped me get a Teacher discount! Pastor and his team made this car buying experience wonderful and we left the dealer happy, unlike other experiences in the past with other dealers! Thank you to Kevin as well for helping with all the details and showing us how to work the car and all the features it comes with. Our traverse didn't have our mats yet, and Kevin was great at communicating and checking in on the mats until they arrived. Thank you and definitely recommend.

Joke of dealership. Spent a week trying to buy their overpriced Z06 and some lazy salesman named Gilbert completely dragged me along and wouldn't even take the time to get me a trade-in quote after I provided all the information he would need including VIN, window sticker, and photos.
