Worst customer service ever!!! Freaking blonde manager is being a bit**!!! We tried to return an item that was never worn, but it was shipped to us defected!! Freaking manager requested a picture and then refused a f*cking legitimate refund request! No worry I will file a bank dispute! Problem solve!

I saw the coat on a maniquen I asked to try it on since there were none left in store the gentleman made an excuse saying the corporate doesn't allow them to take it off he was very unprofessional

The store was clean and well organized - it was easy for me to find all of the sizes I was looking for. Also want to give a shoutout to Chen who helped me out while I was looking around - he went above and beyond to find an answer to a question I had about an item. Really appreciate it!

PROS: I appreciate the minimalist design of their clothing. They're pricier than Zara or J Crew or Uniqlo in some items, but they have fewer selection which makes it easier to choose once you nail down your style. I just discovered them three weeks ago while shopping at South Coast plaza and was excited to see clothes that were in line with my style. On my first visit, I purchased more than $800 worth of clothing, at which time found out from the previous customer in line before me that I could have received a discount if I signed up for their membership or text messages. So I did sign up, the cashier gladly returned all the items, and then rung them up with the discount. That was a good first time customer service.CONS: Three weeks later, on 5/22/2023, I went back to return 2 items that did not fit me well hoping to purchase them in a smaller size. The cashier (not sure if he was the manager) then ringed my returns. I found smaller sizes of the items, went back to pay for them and found out that one of the items was the same size as the item I just returned. I nevertheless still wanted to purchase the item, but the cashier/manager would not honor the 30-day policy for that item since I've had the same item for 3 weeks now and would allow only a 5- day return. What the heck! Needless to say, I felt mistrusted and demeaned, and the$800 spent in that store was not worth it. Customer service should not be this way. It should not make one feel defeated and demoralized. In an economic atmosphere that is sullen, a store must compete to remain open,and it is not so much in the sale of goods that they prevail but the provision of excellent service, clear communication, and respectful behavior regardless of who they're speaking to. This person's behavior, response and reactions were less than par from higher standards expected from a store that claim to cater to sophisticated buyers. They should do better. There are so many other stores to support. I will not continue to support this store unless things change or improve!

Love the design, love the fitting room. Ryan was very friendly and helpful. Made my shopping experience so much better! Some other staffs weren’t.. the guy with long hair ignored me when I asked him a question and was giving off 2012 Abercrombie & Fitch vibe.

I have been a dedicated wearer of their clothing for almost ten years. Today I went to exchange a sweater that literally fell apart in the wash and was met with blank stares, no help, and a lot of criticism as to how I wash clothes (something I have done for 50 years)! Basically the manager would say anything to not take the inferior product back including that it had to have its tags attached. How in the world would tags be attached to a garment that had been washed. Heck the sleeve was barely attached! INFERIOR QUALITY AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a disappointment!

I'm so impressed with the quality of these items for the price-point and I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear my dresses out. Honestly with my curves most of their styles don't suit me, but they do have some more form-fitting or waist-tapered styles, that's what I stick to, and I size down.. Open one in San Diego plz!

Very poor customer service and that is very unfortunate because i recently got to be such a huge fan of this brand !!! I think COS brand deserve much better representation than management of this South Coast plaza store . I bought $130 pants there back in December unfortunately i lost couple pounds and these pants look huge on me so i decided to return these never worn pants hoping they will offer store credit and trust me I am always ready to spend more money . Unfortunately i was told these pants cant be exchanged because its 64 days since i purchased them ( nowhere on their website or receipt does it say you cant exchange item after 60 days ) . Bad experience the person was not even polite enough to say sorry !!!! People with this type of poor attitude should rather stay at home and take unemployment !!! Customer service person sent me to go to LA store to return the item claiming they are usually little more helpful there !

My spouse and I were becoming regular customers this last year, buying birthday and Christmas presents for each other in the last few months. But I was surprised when the manager of the DTLA store told my spouse he couldn't exchange the gloves I bought him for the right size for him. He had the receipt for the jacket I bought him but had misplaced the separate receipt for the gloves. I got in the phone and tried to reason with the lady let him exchange the unused never worn gloves but she said no that the owners had strict rules because some sort of thing. I don't get it because it's a cost of doing business that you might get some bad apples but why are their problems our problems? In the end after a lot of talking - she dared to brake policy arranged for him to get the gloves. What a bad taste that exchange left. And now I went to the OC store to exchange the new never used jacket I got for Christmas. Out of all the styles they carry only one jacket was in my size but luckily I liked. The manager told me however that he could only give me the lowest price for the piece I was exchanging. And take an additional 15% the value of the exchange piece too. I told him to refund me the cash instead because after all this I don't want any of their products. He says no I could only take a store credit. Or my spouse could come in and they'd refund the sale to his credit card. He said this was ownership policy. I told him that it was my policy never to shop at a store who doesn't value its customers. Because they had some problems with some of their customers now they are going to impose these ridiculous criteria on their good customers. Very bad business decision. I expect they'll be missing out on a success comes from taking care of the people who shop there.

my experience at cos was amazing and maybe my fav store to visit at south coast. Ricky was the friendliest associate and guided me all throughout my shopping experience. that man deserves a raise and weekends off w/ the work he puts in! There was also a super cool girl named dahye who completed my visit. i will be returning 10/10 shopping experience

Very unprofessional staff. I bought an item and they forgot to give me the receipt. I came back a few days later to return or get store credit but they refused. I used to work in retail and i looked up their store policy. A store credit was supposed to be offered or exchange but the workers were more worried about their dinner plans than helping me. They said they dont offer store credit and their manager was busy. There was a long line behind me and i didnt want to make a scene over $20. Dont go here. Youve been warned

Never coming here or buying cos items. People who work here are all very unprofessional. They forgot to give me the receipt and when I came the next day for an exchange (when the transaction was still pending on my cc) they didn't even care to bother to look up the transaction but just says "for people's privacy they don't do refund or no exchange" I've never heard of anything like this. I don't even care for the money I'm losing at this point but how I was treated with no respect what so ever. Horrible horrible experience. Never going back here and I'm telling every single human being I know not to go here. Their clothes are simple and minimalistic but go somewhere else if you want to be treated like human.
