Came here one day because my cat was having issues with the litter and Ron Paladin the vet had no communication just said to do a urinalysis and after 5 hours of waiting we come back to a $400 bill of him just racking everything on without communicating what we want done, and when I brought up the bad practice all I got were shrugged shoulders and a sorry.

I took my cat to be seen by this team at a time when she was very ill from being misdiagnosed and mistreated by another vet. The Costa Mesa Animal Hospital team took my cat in and properly diagnosed her, took care of her, provided her with all the medication she needed, and brought her back to health! I no longer live nearby, but I make the 45 minute drive to come have my cat treated by the wonderful and talented team here because I trust they will do everything they can to properly care for her. I now recommend this vet to all my friends and family with pets. Thank you to the Costa Mesa Animal Hospital team for taking great care of my fluffy friend!

I have been coming here for 2 years, since my dog was a pup. I went to one other vet prior and did not have a good experience at all.My dog, a golden retriever, Teddy is incredibly active: hikes, swims, walks, runs etc. he is on the wild side. From more serious injustices to his annual / monthly needs they are attentive, accommodating, and always provide options and solutions. They are hands down the best vet practice, I have sent 4 different friends who now only use this clinic and we collectively share only positive experiences.

Do not bring your pets here. A kitten was brought in this week to get neutered and he died as a result. He did not wake up after the procedure and they are trying to say he had a heart condition that caused his death. This is not true. He was a healthy 7 month old cat and they killed him.

This Hospital is a SCAM!!! Do not bring your pets here to get ripped off. 4 pets in here this Wednesday 8/16/23, for my Morkie, and cat, and 2 rescue kitten. The kittens need vaccines, and bath, and the morkie and cat just needed flea treatment and bath. My bill is a whopping $1,144.15, they tacked on all these charges, like used car dealership!!!And the worst service ever on top of that, I just got off the phone with Jennifer and she said she could not help because I was upset, talk about caring! Front office don't care, they are just RUDE. I called the office today, to ask when the flea medication would kick in because my dog still has 100 fleas on her, and I had my home flea bombed the same day the pets were in the vet on 8/16/23, using 4 bombs, and where there was carpet, I treated them with Diatamaceous Earth. They said, they can give me another flea medication in one month and that is all they can do for me.Then I asked them to correct the receipt because they charged all 6 flea treatment on one kitten, and my insurance only covers 25 per cat. The manager Marlene proceeded to tell me that if she does change the receipt, that because their system is set up that way, that I would have to pay for the full price....? I was like what? /dr. rumm told me to get 6 for the cats since I have 3 cats and I get $15 off. So Marlene told me I need to pay $15 for her to correct the receipt....????And I had set an appointment for my cat to get his teeth brushed, without putting him under, and Dr. Rumm explained to me why he does not recommend it. I do not want to put my cat under anesthesia for teeth cleaning, that is so toxic and bad for them. They didn't brush my cat's teeth because want me to pay $150 for the Anasteshia instead....this is not good for pet to get toxins put into their tiny bodies, I am not stupid. This Animal clinic acts like a full fledge cheap Sales office. In conclusion, do not bring your beloved pets here if don't like being up-sold constantly, like you're at a used car dealership. The doctors are sales people and the staff are just RUDE period and they don't care for the welfare of you or your Pets.JUST AWFUL.

Horrible Service, the front office people are downright rude, and the prices are ridiculous, not to mention, the Vets, they don;t care about you or your pets, they are just trying to sell more services. Beware, and don't bring your pets here if you care anything for them.

The Worst! Go Anywhere else! I have been going to the Costa Mesa animal hospital for over 20 years with two pets, and the service has always been mediocre at best, between the staff at the front, who could care less about you or your pet and the horrific medical advice the doctor gave me which, ultimately killed my pet, however, they got their thousands of dollars out of me first. Now, they’ve lost my dead dog, and have no idea where he’s at. This is the most unprofessional, unfeeling, uncaring animal “hospital” I have ever had the displeasure to work with, and I will never step foot in here again and neither should anyone else if you care anything about your pet. All the staff at the front should be ashamed of themselves for the way that they treat people and hopefully they will take this review as a learning lesson.

Got me in same day when i explained the situation with my dog. Got me in to the room as i literally walked through the doors, everyone was sweet and very informative. Our dog has been doing well since we visited, if I lived there i would definitely use them as our pets vet.

The front desk & manager are very rude & just treat you like another number coming in. They really don’t care about your situation or pet. I was hoping to switch my pet over to them but were very pushy about fees that I had just paid a few weeks ago. I’ve also taken a pet there before that had the kennel cough and they give u a price to come in & then it doubled when it was time to check out.

Brough my elderly cat here exactly one year ago with a feces sample. (It was black). Vet said she was perfectly healthy. Today, I had to euthanize her because of kidney failure.

I can't say enough great things about this place. All of the vets are wonderful and the staff is so helpful. We just had an emergency with our dog, I called right at closing. They were able to wait for us to get there, Dr Paladin was able to see and treat him right away and we were on our way home within half an hour. We've been bringing our animals here for years and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. I so appreciate the care they take of our animals.
