Jack is a true professional at his craft. He is an amazing men's hair stylist and did a phenomenal job on my haircut. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and truly understands his clients needs and wants for an amazing haircut. I was nervous going in to cutting my hair, because of bad experiences in the past with different barbers, but Jack totally nailed it with my haircut! He took the time to really understand my goals and needs with the haircut. I would recommend Jack for all of your haircut needs, specifically for men's mid length haircut styles. If there was a black belt for Barbers/Hair Stylists, Jack would be a 3rd Degree black belt, Master Barber. He has a nice private suite in Huntington Beach and offers complimentary Fiji Water & Beer. The service & experience really is upscale. He can give a mean fade & is NICE with the scissor work. You can tell he really takes pride in his craft & views his work as an art form. 10/10 recommend!

Growing up in LA, I know the value of a good look with the PROPER hair cut/style. The problem is, this look is generally available in exclusive West LA salons for ridiculous prices. Thankfully, I found Jack at Informal. Jack has been styling my hair for over 10 years now and I am never looking back. I have been going to Jack for my haircuts for the last 6 years and have been following him with all of his location changes. The quality of the haircuts provided by Jack are well worth the price. He provides top notch service. He’s highly skilled and has gone through a lot of training to be able to provide the best haircut you’ve ever had. His quality is consistent each and every time I’ve gone to him. I have never been dissatisfied or unhappy with how my hair turns out after he cuts it. Before going to him, I would always have to wait a 1-2 week period before liking my hair after it’s been cut but since I’ve been going to Jack, I like how my hair looks immediately after. He provides high quality service in a clean and private space and he is very chill and friendly. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

I recently started going to Jack for my haircuts for a few months now. When I first went to him, my hair was down to my shoulder, and I was ready to go back to short hair. Jack set me up perfectly with what I was asking for and I was in love with my hair again. Even neglecting to get my hair cut for awhile, the cut still looked great and I was still receiving compliments on my hair 2 months after I got it cut! You will not be disappointed when you come here. You will come out with a haircut that you will love and a great stylist that will take care of you and whatever you ask for.

10/10, Jack gives the best haircut in Orange County! I have been getting my hair cut every few weeks by Jack for the last few years and have gotten several different styles throughout that time and each one has been on point! Jack has been my go-to barber since I moved from Atlanta about five years ago. I followed him to three different places, and now I come from DTLA to HBch to get my cut. That says everything about Jack and his work.Jack is your man if you are someone like me who values quality, time, and professionalism. I have gotten my haircut about every two weeks for the last five years; there has not been one time that I had an issue with my cut, my time, and my appointment. It's consistent every single time. That is very hard to find; his pricing and services are fair for the level of dedicated services you get.You book your appointment, and 99% of the time, he will be ready for you when you schedule and gets you out in the same amount of time. I have a hectic schedule and couldn't see myself with another barber!

Jack never disappoints. Before seeing Jack I had the most plain and simple budget haircut. When i came to him I asked him to give me whatever he thought would look good and he didn't disappoint. I've now been seeing him for a little over 6 months now and every time I receive compliments. He clearly puts a lot of care into his work and I am always surprised and happy with my new cut. I could not recommend another business more.

Simply put, Jack is a wizard. He takes his craft seriously and it shows In his approach. I had the most basic hairstyle for the longest time and figured I'd switch it up. I always went to traditional barbers but this time around I decided to go to a stylist. Come to find out, Jack is the best of both worlds. Both a stylist and a barber. Went in there confident knowing he would deliver and deliver he did. Left super stoked with my new style. He even schooled me with some tips to achieve the same look at home. Jack is a super down to earth dude with great vibes too. If you need a solid stylist and not just a basic barber, Jack is your guy. I'm glad I've found my stylist moving forward.
