My wife just came home saying the store employee was rude to her when she asked him to open the bathroom for her. The gentleman made no eye contact, didn't say anything to her and begrudgingly opened the door with a sign. Like she was ruining his day! When she walked out another employee asked how she got into the bathroom and she said "you very unfriendly co-worker let me in" the employee responded "well he is on break and should not have let you in the bathroom" no apology for the rudeness like it was her fault for asking a guy in a Below 5 shirt to open the door. If you pay your employees only to be cordial when on the clock maybe they should take their work shirts off so they can act rude off the clock! Not very welcoming so we will pass next time on going to Below 5!

My mom came to get a charger for her cell phone. The manager Rosa took time to help her. Makes me feel good folks still help the elderly. Bless your heart.

I find it odd and extremely annoying to have 8 “self check out registers” to close 7 and have an associate ring your items up , asking you each prompt as if one can’t do it themselves. It’s time consuming and weird.

Why even have self checkout anymore. They've changed them to where you have to wait for an associate to do it for you. It's called self checkout for a reason.

These past two months, the store has looked like a mess. Normally, this store has always been clean, unlike the other five belows I have been to. There’s this tall blonde lady with a cast constantly hovering over people, almost as if she thinks customers are stealing. Also, the bathrooms are disgusting, it looks like they have never been cleaned before. The rest of the employees are respectful, but be aware of the blonde lady who I assume is the store manager.

I'm sorry, but the white lady at the checkout with a hand brace/cast was hovering all over the customers. It's called self-checkout, sweetie. And what's the whole deal with her asking everyone if she can give herself 10 stars at self-checkout? A couple whispered "0 stars," and the line laughed.Also, the store was a mess! Toys, candy, and books all over the floor!!

Five Below is right next to Northgate Market. We've never been to a store where everything is marked under $5. There are actually some interesting finds here. They have toys, art supplies, Funkos, Mini Food Brands, Squishmellows, board games, beauty products, bags, clothing, just like a 99 cents or Daiso. But everything is just a little bit more upscale due to the $5 price mark. There are products that's over $5 but that's in the electronics section ... something the other discount stores generally don't have.I actually found a few items for under $5 that I normally see for $10 elsewhere. It really is a cool treasure trove of goodies.This store's concept is quite unique and the service was very friendly. I almost walked out with a hoola hoop because I was carrying it on my shoulders. The store clerk quickly helped me use another register to check out so I didn't have to restart my initial transaction. I would definitely return to this store.

A little disorganized however it is Christmas so I expected it to be a little messy during the holidays. Great deals in almost anything from dorm accessories, small tech products and reasonable prices on various other products like toys and junk food

I used to be a 5/5 star customer. I would genuinely enjoy shopping here. But after placing my first pick up online order i will NO longer be shopping here. To start off I got no email confirmation (BUT MY PAYMENT WENT THROUGH AND MONEY WAS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT)I then after hours decided to go to the store where at first I was received by a lovely young lady who was quickly interrupted by a condescending individual that interrupted us mid conversation. This person should be fired by the way he speaks to his paying customers and coworkers who are actually trying to help. After showing I paid for two items he insisted on that I only paid for one. Will no longer be shopping here and will most certainly advise others to make the drive for customers service.
