This store sells good shoes and provides fantastic customer service. Laura Livingston is the person. She is the general manager and she can run the world. Trust me, we all would be happier if she did.

I have dealt with Laura Livingston, the General Manager at GIANVITO ROSSI because I had a problem buying booties online and a poor response from the customer service. Laura resolved my problem very quickly, efficiently, and to my great satisfaction. As a result, I ended up with the boots I love and the store ended up having more money. Making good shoes is necessary but not sufficient to make a customer happy, hiring Laura was the best thing they did for the excellent customer service and problem solving.

I had a very pleasant time at both of my recent visits. The staff is extremely helpful and I will definitely continue to shop here.

Please note, this is a review that describes how some women-me-are crazy about shoes. I actually first discovered the brand through the now shuttered Barney's New York. There was a beautiful pair of white boots (Romy) that I fell for, although I knew these would probably be out of fashion by next season. After trying them on in Barney's, the size pretty much fit, so I had an idea of how their sizing would work for me at least for this specific style of boot (the issue being, they FIT which is a bad sign for my bank account.) I held off and watched the price drop as they transferred out of Barney's into Saks...until my size was gone. I missed out, but didn't feel so bad since it wasn't meant to be.A visit in December of 2019 brought me to their sole (there's your bad pun) boutique on the west coast in Costa Mesa. This is also one of three-four if you count the boutique within Saks in NYC-Gianvito Rossi locations within North America. I was the only one in the store and greeted right away. The staff let me be as I looked around for a minute or so, then went to leave, but I made the mistake of looking down to my left. There sat a gorgeous pair of all things, combat boots, but these are a massive upgrade than what you are probably picturing. Behind this boot was the same style, but with a heel. Immediately, I zeroed in on the LaGarde 60. I fell hard. I didn't want to look at the price, but I can say this would be months rent and a half worn below the knees. I made it worse by trying on the 35.5 which was the smallest they had. I'm glad they didn't fit, but I knew from that fitting that the 35 would have worked. Thank God they were out of that. I will admit these boots are on my (life) to-do list, and even though I noticed they are available on other online shops for less, I just don't know if I would be receiving authentic merchandise. I never heard of some of them, including 'mytheresa' and didn't want to take the chance. Shop at the actual store if you can, where you can experience a beautiful space and helpful associates. And to be polar opposite of those who brag they can afford everything in the mall, blah, blah, blah, I don't look like I have a dime to my name and they were still kind to me. Sergio Rossi's son carries his own great taste, and it has to be an honor to wear such footwear, if you can afford it.

The staff here is always "checked out". I've gone in multiple times over the year and beyond and it's always disappointing.
