Steph Castro is the gift that keeps on giving! Sunday Service (10:45 CM) is like no other class I've ever been to, and Steph keeps the good vibes flowing! She's inspirational, funny, kind, and motivates her team to create the best versions of themselves! Some people go to church on Sundays, and I go to Steph 10:45!

At one point I was obsessed with SoulCycle and had paid the $1k largest package that was on sale for Thanksgiving. I was a big SoulCycle girlie and then I moved to Orange County and SoulCycle closed a bunch of studios because of the pandemic, making the closest SoulCycles Los Angeles and San Diego. I immediately went on the hunt and GritCycle IS my favorite OC studio of the many I have tried. GritCycle has all the similarities of SoulCycle or that tier of fitness studios (think Barry's). I always get a great workout, high production value with lights and audio, great community, nice cooling towel at the end. The main differences are the bathroom isn't as bourgie but is great (this location has a shower). Staff is always super nice. Classpass can be tricky to book since they have limited seats but I've noticed GritCycle does a good job of having discounted packages fairly regularly. Will definitely continue my love for this cycling studio and their many branches!

I recently moved to Costa Mesa from New York and GritCycle is truly the best- all of the instructors are wonderful and the energy is great. I look forward to Steph's classes every week and have made some of the best friends there!!

Not just one of my favorite workout studios, but one of my actual favorite places to be, GritCycle is the best all the way around. From the front desk staff (shout out Celeste) to my fave instructor Patrick Leahy (try to leave his class in a bad mood I dare you!!) this place is a true gift to your body and soul and I couldn't recommend their spin classes and community more.

Loveee Kelli's classes. Parking situation kinda sucks but you just need to arrive early. Really glad they got new bikes recently the other ones were difficult to adjust and left rust residue on my shoes lol

If you want a good workout, and leave feeling accomplished and good about yourself, take any class in the Costa Mesa Grit Studio! The studio is clean, AND THEY JUST GOT NEW BIKES! The community that Grit Cycle has created is so incredible. From the employees, to the instructors, to the members... it's like nothing I've ever seen in the fitness world. My first Grit class was with Kelli C! AND SHE IS MY FAVORITE INSTRUCTOR! When you try her, you will understand why. Everybody should check it out and take a class. Your first class is free when you sign up too! Enjoy and challenge yourself!:)

I absolutely love grit cycle. I've been coming for a little under a year now and it is the only workout that I thoroughly enjoy! My friends and I always say it feels like a Vegas nightclub when in the saddle room. When the lights go off and the bass kicks in, you forget you're exercising and not just having a good time out! I love how the bikes don't have metrics on them because sometimes when you're a bit tired but still want to go to class, you won't feel like a lazy ass by not knowing your cadence. The classes incorporate a lot of upper body, which you can't get that much of on a peloton at home. The classes are a bit pricey but it's totally worth it. The instructors thoroughly think their regimen through prior to class so you're doing something active the whole time and in tune with the loud music. I love Jaclyn, Kaitlin, and Steph only because they play more modern music that I always actually know the words to, which help me ride with more grit (lol), but Chelsea, Kelli, and Charmaine are amazing also! They're all great to be honest. I've never left feeling like I didn't get my butt kicked in the best way possible. Bring your own shoes, though, as they do run out of your size sometimes, the peloton shoes work here just fine.

Fun energy and exercise. Best combo but even better when the instructor is great. There are plenty of times to choose from and I haven't had a bad instructor yet!

Don't blame me spin made me crazy. If it doesn't, you ain't doin it right. I come to Sunday service with Kelli and have the best time always (even though she kills me every time) Her music selection is impeccable. Her energy is contagious and makes every session enjoyable. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. I'm completely addicted and have recruited a few of my coworkers, who hate me for getting them hooked haha. Thanks Grit!

The staff and instructors are amazing here! So motivating and fun. Classes are 45 mins, full body workout routines while spinning with restraints on a stationary bikes. I have knee issues and limited to exercises that impact my knee but this has no impact on my knees and loving every class! Plenty of street parking.

First time rider as I was traveling in the area. I appreciate that the first class is free- I will be back later this summer. I loved the set up in this charming building. Check in on one side and then lockers and bathrooms on the other side with the actual studio in between. I was fortunate to get into Amelia's class at noon on a Saturday. She had a rider with her on the stage which made it even more fun. I had not brought my cycle shoes with me due to limited space, but I think their shoes are more comfortable than mine! The class was lively and had good choreography with great music. Also the volume of the music was not too high so riders could still hear Amelia's comments. The only small negative was the temperature of the room. It got hot quickly! It felt like the fans in the room were not turned on right away, and maybe they even need one or two more fans. Otherwise a fantastic experience!

This review is long overdue! I have been consistently going to Grit and the staff are incredible! Everyone is always willing to help you whether you are new to the studio or a regular. Chelsea is by far my favorite cycle instructor on this planet! I've been going consistently to her classes 2x a week for about 4 months now, and she never fails to kick my ass! The music, the energy, and her constant encouragement is EVERYTHING you want out of a cycle class and instructor. She even helped me face my fears and got me on the podium!! Highly recommend this place, you won't regret it!

It was my first time visiting this establishment and I had a positive experience. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. A good friend of mine invited me to attend Andrew Vo's class and it was stellar! From the start of his class I felt his amazing energy and great personality. Bottom line, he teaches an incredible class and is an absolute asset to this business. I know that I will continue to attend Andrew Vo's class every chance that I get.
