If I could give zero stars I would.I went in with my service dog and was immediately told there were no dogs allowed. I gently told him he was my service dog (my dog had a service dog collar and was behaving perfectly). The clerk said “no he’s not! Show me proof! What’s wrong with you why would you need a service dog?!” he very aggressively demanded that I share my health information with him and this room full of strangers. To avoid conflict, I show him my dogs registration (which I am not legally required to do) and he allows me in the store. Not only was this intimidating and humiliating, it was also ILLEGAL. I will never return to this store and I tell everyone I know not to go to this store. The situation was handled because of MY calm approach and I could have pressed charges.PLEASE train your staff properly on how to ask about service dog registration where you are not violating my rights. Your staff may do this to someone that’s not as calm or understanding about it as me and could face a charge of $4000 for denying entry.Absolutely unprofessional, aggressive, uneducated behavior from this staff 0/10.MESA LIQUOR STORE OFF HARBOR IS 1000 TIMES BETTER I RECOMMEND THEM!! Better prices, amazing staff, better all around.

You can find mostly of everything. But the tequila should be more cheaper they charging $100 for a small bottle of the tequila that would cost least $30 or so!

Really unfortunate to write this review because I love supporting local business and have spent hundreds of dollars at this establishment through the years as I live in the neighborhood. Rode my bike up to grab a quick snack and drink and was scolded that I could not lock my bike in front of their shop. There are no bike racks or anything of the sort around so had to park it on a street sign (which is technically illegal but best option I could find). I'll be frequenting another corner store going forward.

They got lots of neat stuff--liqour, chips, poprocks, Arizona teas, cactus cooler. Cashier is always super friendly. Plus, they have a life-sized cutout of The Rock and it is very cool.

My roommate's go to liquor store. I tend to be the "gopher", so l deal with Mr. Bucks often. Friendly customer service. Owner and his wife are awesome. Perfectly located on way home for us. Lately, a ramen place has been filling up the parking area so parking can be limited at peak times for the ramen place. There's plenty of parking in the rear ramen lovers! Won't be surprised if Mr Bucks and Lil Pickle Subs designate parking for their business soon.

If I could give it a 0 start I would. I never ever had wrote a review but this is the worst store to got to. The kid behind the counter is rude and racist. He asked my African American boyfriend to back where he is from. Please do not come here if you a minority.

Barely any prices posted, be prepared to pay twice what you think things should cost.

Store was a good place to get most of whatever you need. But, whoever was behind the register had total lack of knowledge for IDs and made false claims. My real ID gets denied here but not at a liquor store… then proceeds to let another person purchase me alcohol but claimed my ID was “fake”. Just disrespectful and I recommend he find another job

Employees need to learn to check ID's properly here. Embarrassing that a liquor store employs people who don't understand what an out of state ID looks like. Don't even bother with the rudeness and stupidity, and take your business elsewhere.

Good selection of alcohol, beverages, and friendly staff with good honest customer service. This store has been running for so long and it shows why they are going for 25 strong years with the current owner. Will always come back for more and understand the rules of having an up to date identification to purchase alcoholic(tobacco).

I normally don't write reviews but I'm still bitter by this young kid behind the counter that wouldn't accept my out of state ( Hawaiian) id. I grew up in Costa Mesa and even attended CMHS so going to lil pickle and grabbing a candy bar at Mr. Bucks has always been a go to. Of course when I come back to visit I love helping out my local businesses I grew up with, but this time little homie thought my ID was fake even after he scanned it ( I'm 35). Normally I would be flattered to look under age and then prove to them how old I really am and proceed with my day, but this dude wouldn't even sell to me and had to nerve to tell me " to take it as a compliment" GTFOH. I will take my service elsewhere. If you have an out of state identification I advise you to try a different location it's not worth the hassle.

Good selection of wine and alcohol, with some other essential things as well.

He likes to curse. and Christians are not allowed here apparently unless they are okay to get cursed at. He needs to be a little more loving and less hateful. Thank you
