OC Canine Coaching was an excellent experience for us and our puppy. I've worked with several dog trainers over many years with my own dogs and with fosters as a volunteer with a rescue. Bryndon is the first I've worked with that I would without hesitation continue to work with and refer. He is creative and helped 2 puppy parents with different styles be successful and confident. 20 minutes into our initial consultation I was comfortable committing to working with Bryndon. He is professional, fully engaged, and showed an immediate impact during the consultation. Bryndon's approach with the human and dog is excellent. No aversive techniques. He taught us how to read our puppy's signals and respond.

I adopted Maya, a young Belgian Malinois mix, a few months ago. She came from an extremely abusive situation and had pretty severe behavioral and reactivity issues that needed to be addressed. I searched around extensively and contacted a few different trainers and specialists, but remained skeptical (worried about finding someone good enough to handle Maya). However, I finally managed to come across Bryndon who seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Within minutes of the first introductory session, I could tell Bryndon knew exactly what he was doing and gave me the confidence that I had made the right choice. He experienced first-hand what Maya's reactivity was like, and yet by the end of the first introductory session, he already managed to showcase how we could help her improve. I knew that her issues were bad enough that it would take a very long time for her to get better, but to my surprise she showed massive improvements literally within the first few sessions. Most importantly, he showed and taught me what I needed to do to help guide her along, which was my biggest worry. We've both learned a lot (and got to learn a lot of tricks along the way lol). I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have chosen him as Maya's trainer. He listens to your needs and concerns and actually addresses them, is extremely well informed, and gives you and your dog the confidence they need to be better. He has a good mentality towards training dogs and utilizes positive reinforcement to help correct the source of issues rather than training that only serves to suppress and hide the bad behaviors/triggers. I don't say this lightly, but I cannot recommend Bryndon enough! If you are someone like me who was both highly skeptical and unsure, try meeting him for an intro, he is very approachable and friendly, and is genuinely honest enough to tell you if he's the right fit or not. Thank you Bryndon!!!

Amazing trainer! Im a first time dog owner and Bryndon helped me develop a better understanding of what my dog is thinking and why he was reacting certain ways. He also showed me how to turn around bad behaviors that I was reinforcing with knowing it.
My dog is just turning 2 yet and he's better behaved than I thought he could be. Highly recommend Bryndon's expertise!

Bryndon is an amazing trainer. Our rescued 4-month old border collie mix Griffin learned so much from him in just 5 sessions. The training helped us as dog presents and Griffin to master the foundational skilsl we all need to raise a well-behaved puppy. I absolutely would recommend Bryndon to any dog parent .

As the new owner of a high-energy German Shorthaired Pointer named Cowboy, who had been surrendered to rescue three times due to behavioral challenges, I knew I was signing up for a challenging but rewarding journey. Thankfully, I found Bryndon at OC Canine Coaching, and it's been an absolute game changer for both Cowboy and me. From the outset, Bryndon's approach was impressive. He began working with Cowboy two weeks after I adopted him, and the connection they've built in such a short time is nothing short of amazing. Bryndon's method focuses on positive reinforcement, which not only aligns with my values but has proven remarkably effective. Cowboy, once terrified of any new faces in my home, now greets Bryndon ecstatically--a testament to the trust and bond that they have developed. In just a few sessions, Cowboy has mastered commands like sit, lay down, touch (with his nose), and he can now go to both his bed and crate on command. The progress he has made under Bryndon's guidance is truly remarkable. Choosing Bryndon and OC Canine Coaching was one of the best decisions I could have made for Cowboy's training. His understanding and expertise have brought out the best in Cowboy, transforming him from a dog who was once seen as 'troubled' to one who is thriving and happy. I can't recommend Bryndon highly enough for anyone seeking compassionate, effective training for their canine companion. If you're at a crossroads with your dog's behavior, give Bryndon a call--it will change your and your dog's life for the better!

So happy that's I was able to find Bryndon, we've had trainers in the past. They were decent and learned some stuff from them but the level of training we've gotten with bryndon is hands down the best overall. We have a very reactive dog, she's not small so we were very nervous at first but he was able to adapt to our situation and help us on our journey with our dog summer. We will continue to work with him as she makes leaps of improvements in her behavior. If you have been like us and had trainers that did not deliver I highly suggest you reach out to bryndon for a consultation.

Brydon was exceptional, his help to train Bardo for our 15 hours trip was amazing. We met him with the goal of Bardo becoming a service dog and even our dog is only 1 year old we were able to achieve all goals. You can tell by meeting Brydon he loves dogs and he makes sure that training is the right one focusing on maximizing the right behavior. definitely recommended. Thanks Brydon!

I was lucky enough to cross paths with Bryndon while looking for a trainer for my 5 month old puppy Keera . Bryndon was quick to respond back to my message and we liked him immediately. He was punctual, kind , honest , and upfront about how he works . We signed up for the one on one package. We were having issues with jumping on people when they came to the house , chewing and pulling on the leash and walking like a total Karen. She had no recall and wasn't listening . With some time , effort and patience, Bryndon helped us alleviated those issues . Note : this is not a Bryndon does everything and your dog is immediately cured of bad behavior. Just like most things in life ... what you put in ... is what you will get out of it. Keera no longer jumps on people , she has great recall and we are almost to the point of walking off leash at 9 months . You won't be sorry if you sign up !

Bryndon changed our lives!!When we started working with Bryndon Harmony, to say the least, was hard to manage!! When we tried to go for a walk she was highly aroused and would pull at her leash, and loudly bark, demanding to go somewhere. She displayed high anxiety and would react to other dogs by barking uncontrollably. Her behavior when riding in a harness in the car was horrible. It made it very stressful to take her anywhere!!Now, I can take her to dog beach and we can both have fun! She handles all the stimulation of smells, sounds, and other dogs well. She approaches other dogs with the right body language. Runs off lead and turns immediately to come when I call her.If you’re questioning if you should make a call for help, my recommendation is to call Bryndon!! He doesn’t use any method that is painful to the pup. Harmony enjoyed learning and I enjoyed practicing with her when Bryndon wasn’t with us. He really does make dreams come true!!

OC Canine Coaching is simply amazing. Our trainer was patient, friendly, and super knowledgeable. He exceeded our expectations and is so much more than a Dog Trainer. He is a dog whisperer. I've tried others in the past, and OC Canine Coaching provides a personal touch that you will not find anywhere else. I highly recommend this service. So worth it!

Bryndon was a wonderful coach to me, my boyfriend, and our two large dogs. The dogs have totally opposite personalities and we needed help managing unwanted behaviors like barking and resource guarding. Bryndon helped us immensely by providing guidance, resources, and the tools to understand/improve the chaotic dynamic in our home. The training sessions were as stimulating and rewarding for the humans as they were for the dogs. We are all feeling more confident thanks to him.

Took some time to write this review to get some feedback from our vet, our current trainer and other pet owners.... Let me start off saying if you have any type of dog that has any separation anxiety, barking at the front door, no knowledge of basic commands and does not like associating with other dog he is NOT a trainer for you. We contacted Bryndon off of yelp, seeing his 5 star reviews made us confident we were going to get a good trainer for our rescue. (Wishing now I could have seen his 1 star review). He came and saw us (charged a consultation fee, which is normal) and "evaluated" our dog. We (2 young college students) told him we picked up our dog from the pound because we were interested in rescuing and we needed to get a good trainer in order to be safe and responsible pet owners. We listed off our problem (which I would think are pretty normal for dogs, especially rescues) which I've stated above. He seemed pretty alarmed by her problem but assured us he could help. Unfortunately he'd never be able to help. Throughout our couple sessions together he did not teach our dog ANYTHING. She did not learn one new thing from his training. He did not successfully teach her to sit on command, he did not successfully teach her how to wear her muzzle, he did not successfully teach her how to not bark at the door. Forget any type of aggression training because he simply did not know one thing. He continuously placed a fake dog in-front of our dog and just videoed her but did not give any instructions or any type of correction training. (When I told both my vet and current trainer this they actually were one concerned he did this over and over again and two laughed at the fact he believed it could help.) HALFWAY through our training I contacted him and told him if there was anyway we could get a refund for our remaining training session because we clearly could tell he was not able to train her and she had ran into a problem at our apartment community (involing something he was supposed to be training/helping her in) he said no. Which I unfortunately regret even asking him because he stated he could help more which he never did. We were asking for a refund because we could tell that our dog needed either a board and train program or even a trainer that is CERTIFIED and/or works with aggressive dogs. But clearly he is not educated enough or trained enough to be doing any type of work with any aggressive and/or dogs that aren't puppies or even slightly difficult to train. After that conversation of refund for upcoming training sessions, he continued to not trainer dog anything. All that was done during session was a bunch of treat giving and going on walks. I would NOT recommend this trainer to anyone. It makes us frustrated and irritated that ONE he was not able to help us with anything let alone one thing. TWO, kept putting my dog in the same positions with the stuffed animal IN FRONT OF OUR APARTMENT COMPLEX knowing she'd attack every time but not doing or teaching anything to try and help/stop it. THREE he showed us videos that we should do that we could EASILY find on YouTube. FOUR took money from us knowing he does not have the ability to help us in any way. I could go on... our trainer and vet has pointed out many more things that seem to be a problem with his program. I high do NOT recommend this trainer there's plenty more on yelp that will get your needs done.

I gave Bryndon a call when my 7 month old English Cream Golden Retriever, Charlie, began exhibiting signs of anxiety, leash pulling, destructive chewing and potty training issues. I needed someone to come to our home to train and he offered a 12 session package to do so. After our initial consultation, I was hesitant to commit to such an expensive package, but bit the bullet and went ahead. Let me say he was worth every single penny. Over the course of 4 weeks, our sweet girl calmed down, became successfully potty trained, improved significantly on the leash, quit swallowing everything she chewed and learned many new commands. While she still exhibits typical puppy behaviors, I am confident that she will continue to mature into a balanced beautiful member of our family. Thanks so much Bryndon!

Bryndon helped our dog learn how to listen to us, and has helped us learn how we should train her. Our dog has done a complete 180. She listens to all her commands even when guests are over. The training also helps the bond between us and our dog. 100% would recommend
