OC Canine Coaching is fantastic! From the moment Bryndon came into our home, he was professional, thorough, and easy to work with. We were most concerned about our dog’s resource guarding, barking, and a tricky dietary issue. He gave us clear strategies and we’ve already seen a huge improvement, even after just one session. Bryndan is truly a GODSEND! We were having so many issues with one of our three dogs.
He had really bad resource guarding and kept growling at us and going to bite one of the other dogs. Through Bryndan working with him and us, he is back to being a very happy family member!

Wow! Just wow! Can't recommend Bryndon enough. I honestly didn’t think I’d see a difference so fast, but on day one my dog who was reactive on leash was calmly meeting other dogs. The way Bryndon explained things made it easy for me to actually understand what was happening and what to do.

We are so happy we found Bryndon at OC Canine Coaching. After going through a couple trainers and not having much luck with our new pup Gumby, we stumbled upon OC Canine Coaching and reached out for a consultation appointment. Within a few minutes he was able to assess our dog’s leash reactivity with other dogs and began setting us up with a plan.
Throughout the lessons we received a ton of practical advice for both in and out of the home. From basic commands to properly using the leash, each session built upon the last and was great to practice between lessons. By the end of our lessons Gumby was able to play with other dogs and has even started making some friends at the park. Have never seen her so happy!
Couldn’t recommend Bryndon enough!

We were brought from Gus the wild puppy to taking walks with NO pulling, no running out the door every time someone comes over, and just overall really great behavior with our big goofy Gus. Bryndon is extremely knowledgeable and is not only able to make an immediate connection with the dog, not but also with the owners. This turns out to be important as we found at least half of the training, or in our case retraining, is of the owners. He trains with sensitivity and positive reinforcement.

After asking my veterinarian for help with my dog’s behavioral issues, they recommended OC Canine Coaching. Prior to that, I had already tried several training approaches, including a board-and-train program and a two-week private course that used aversive methods like prong collars and e-collars.
In addition to the professional training, I immersed myself in research—watching TV shows, YouTube videos, and reading as much as I could—to help address my dog’s resource guarding and reactivity. While we made progress with the resource guarding, my Doberman continued to struggle with fear-based reactivity.
I was taught to use the e-collar on my reactive dog, but it only worsened his behavior and damaged our bond. The use of aversive tools led to a particularly traumatic incident where my dog, under stress, redirected and bit my husband. Every time we used the e-collar, his fear escalated, often resulting in redirected aggression. It became clear that this tool was not right for him.
I was devastated. That’s when I turned to Bryndon at OC Canine Coaching for help. Since then, I’ve seen a remarkable improvement in my dog’s behavior using positive reinforcement methods. As dog owners, we’re often told that aversive methods are necessary to produce quick results. While they may offer short-term obedience, they often come at a great emotional cost—leaving dogs either fearful or increasingly aggressive.
With positive reinforcement, I’ve not only seen sustainable progress but have also rebuilt the trust between me and my dog.

I recently rescued my chihuahua mix, Nicky, from a shelter. I reached out to Bryndon with hopes of making Nicky a well behaved boy who I can travel with and bring to work. I purchased the 10 session package day training program. Bryndon worked with Nickys reactivity, leash skills and helped him learn manners! This training also helped decrease Nickys anxiety (and mine). I am so proud of Nicky’s progress and very grateful to Bryndon. I highly recommend him for training! My other senior rescue dog also benefited from these trainings. She is very skittish of people and warmed up to Bryndon quickly. My dogs absolutely love Bryndon because he is very loving and playful while training them. I can’t thank him enough!

Booking the consultation with Bryndon was the best decision I’ve made for both my pups and myself.
I reached out to Bryndon primarily to get my 3 year old male’s reactivity on walks under control and in that first session I learned so much about how to achieve a peaceful walk AND BEYOND.
Bryndon didn’t just come in say “okay you want to fix walks, we will only fix walks”. He genuinely spent time observing both of my pups and their behaviors and was educating me along the way.
After explaining each of my dogs behaviors or why they are behaving the way they were, he would educate me on what I need to do to prevent or “not encourage” the negative behaviors going forward.
I learned so much, I genuinely feel empowered to encourage the good behaviors both in our home and on our walks but more importantly prevent the bad behaviors. It will probably take some practice for me, but watching my pup be a completely different, happy, non-reactive dog on my walk with Bryndon tells me it is VERY possible.

Bryndon helped my 6 year old rescue with reactivity issues. My boyfriend couldn’t be in my apartment with my dog without her barking and making him fearful. After a few sessions with him, my boyfriend is confident that he will be able to come over and my dog will be fine, even friendly. Bryndon also helped me understand a lot more about my dog that I’ve had for a couple years and worked with other trainers as well as effective, positive training approaches. He took extra time in our sessions and really cares about my dog. I highly recommend Bryndon!

We reached out to Brynden at OC Canines because our 1.5 year old chihuahua mix, Kyra, has had anxiety issues through out her life. We’ve tried a few different trainers before, and while they helped a bit, I feel that she made the most significant progress with Brynden and his training methods. In only 4 training sessions, she seems like a whole new dog! She is so much more confident on her walks and seems to be enjoying them a lot more. He taught us methods for helping her to overcome triggers that made her nervous and how to keep her attention on us while having a fun time. Brynden was super kind and easy to work with and we really appreciated how he made sure that Kyra was comfortable and safe at all times. If there was something that Kyra didn’t feel comfortable with at the moment he was great at changing things up and working back up to help her overcome in her own time. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone that is looking for an effective, kind, and extremely knowledge dog trainer to reach out to Brynden at OC Canines! He is incredible!
