Can’t Say enough about this Pep Boys crew. While traveling on vacation with a Hertz Rental we got a bad flat tire. Taylor was super helpful and awesome to swap it out even though they were closing for the night.
We had a one year old tired and hungry baby with us and they were all gracious and kind to help us out. Would definitely recommended!

I thought I needed front brakes. They quoted me and when they did the inspection it turned out it was my back brakes. They fixed them promptly, didn't try to up sell me anything I didn't need and very fair. I will certainly return for future auto needs.

Seems like a common theme at this Pep
Boys to upsell, overcharge and not take ownership of their mistakes.
Took in a car for an oil leak on a Saturday. They kept promising a short turn around but in reality very incapable of following through and didn’t get my car until Thursday. They didn’t fix anything but of course find “more problems” that they probably made. Trying to charge an extra $900 on top of the $1000 that was already quoted that I reluctantly agreed to originally. When refused they said the car needs to be towed. How? I drove it in. So, they were incapable of putting back to its original operating condition. Chumps. They couldn’t even put the car back together for days because by their words “only one person can do that here.” Real top notch team I assume. When I refused to move forward they tried to charge me $250 for not fixing my car and holding my car hostage for 5 days. The “manager” I spoke to about all this would not give me my keys and argued with me for 30 min. So unprofessional and rude. I would never recommend this pathetic establishment.

Pep Boys came thru! I was at the vet with my dogs and upon leaving my truck wouldn’t start. I went into my vet and asked if anyone had jumping cables. This good bro said go to Pep Boys, they will help you, this has happened to me and they’ll give you a jumper. So I went into Pep Boys, the dudes were super chill and nice, they gave me a jumper for free, they just asked to hold on to my id and credit card. I was able to easily jump my car and take my dogs home. Thanks Pep Boys Costa Mesa!

Horrible these little boys should open up a hooters instead and have their shirts tied up with daisy dukes.. what grown man can’t change a headlight on a car!! good luck with these nobodies disputed the charge with my bank. Wasting my time cause you are ugly inside.

The staff at Pep Boys Costa Mesa were outstanding. I had a problem with my headlamp and they did everything to help me resolve the issue without having to pay for a whole new headlamp which was very expensive. they went above and beyond to get what I needed. In the end, it didn't work out, but they were with me every step of the way. More than I could say for most mechanics. Thank you Daniel!!! you were great!

I was quickly able to make an appointment for the next day. When I came in, I was promptly greeted and my battery was checked as I’d requested. The waiting area is sparsely appropriated but I didn’t need it very long. Overall, a very positive experience.

I’ve gone to this Pep Boys for years. I’m always taken back when they refuse to repair a tire and only want to upsell you. Well young kid with the glasses, triple A had no issues repairing the tire.
