One of the best staples of Costa Mesa in my opinion. I remember going here ever since a little girl, the quality & service has stayed the same. I went for lunch yesterday with my mother, and it was such a pleasant experience. Our waitress, although I did not get her name, had a great personality. I ordered the giant slice and salad and my mother got Lasagna. Delicious as always, and we had plenty to take home and have for lunch today. Long live Pizza d’oro!!Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian. There are all kinds of vegetarian options

Literally, the best Italian food I have ever had in my whole life. Simply stunning. I had the chicken parmigiana and had them make the spaghetti with their special homemade Diablo sauce and I had it two nights in a row. Run don’t walk to Pizza D’Oro in Costa Mesa.

The pizza here is absolutely amazing! It's truly to die for. The flavors are incredibly tasty, and if you ask them to cook your pizza a little extra, the dough becomes delightfully crunchy, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommended!

I was in the mood for pasta. I wanted to try a place that I haven't been. Pizza D'Oro kept coming up in a few searches.I ended up getting the Saturday special which was the garlic shrimp scampi, garlic bread, and Italian house salad.I was surprised by low prices for the high-quality food that you get. Most places are charging $7 to $10 more for similar menu items. I'm not sure if it's just being from Seattle or I expected to be more.I am not sure how they are able to keep there cost low. But it's a benefit to the community. As they've been in business for over 50 years and they have a lot of regulars. There's people nonstop walking in to get to go orders.

We brought home the pasta party pack for a Holiday gathering. The Lasagne, Spaghetti, Salad, Dressing and garlic toast were all delicious!! The portions were huge and a great value. Was worried the spaghetti would be dry in such a large pan, but they were very generous with the sauce. So good!! Order was piping hot and right on time when we picked it up. Would definitely recommend if you have a large group to feed. We will absolutely order for future parties.

The spinach and onion lasagna is easily the worst lasagna I’ve ever tasted. I like spinach but the spinach and onion layer was so gross I had to scrape it out. The ricotta cheese felt like rubber and was flavorless. The garlic bread was the highlight of the meal - toasted crust and soft buttery inside. I do *not* recommend.
