God this bank sucks. They do t have bankers that can help you unless you make an appointment ahead of time. They have 11 teller windows, and I've never seen more than 2 tellers working. Expect lines and waits that would make Disneyland blush.

Wells Fargo totally SUCKS ! Called them was on hold for 27 minutes, then I hung up! 2nd time is was 43 minutes. I realized long ago that they don't want HUMANS working for them, because they have to Pay them! Therefore, they hind behind Automation !!! Funny think is, I was calling them about FRAUD CHARGES. I could care less if they ever answer the phone. I would NEVER Bank with WF, ever again. I realized this many years ago. I'll be dam if I'll make an appointment, to speak to anyone thats holding my Money !Small BANKS are the way of the future! I go to my Bank, they actually greet me by name... NO APPOINTMENT ! It's obvious WELLS FARGO totally SUCKS, so what would ANYONE use them??? Just read the REVIEWS!

Zero customer service. You have to make an appointment to do anything and even then you will have a long wait time.

Not helpful at all, their incompetence has cost me money. I went to this branch to cash several EE bonds (initially obtained through Wells Fargo for me from my grandfather). After instructing me to sign all the bonds they informed me 2 could not be cashed out because they were "old" and did not have the markings their machines could read. They told me I had to contact the US treasury. I asked them "do you have a phone number, or any information". They told me "just contact the US treasury". According to the US Treasury, to get the bond cashed I'm supposed to send it to the US Treasury UNSIGNED with the proper forms. Since Wells Fargo staff instructed me to sign it the bonds then told me they couldn't cash them (BONDS THEY ISSUED) the US Treasury will not accept them by mail and there's nothing I can do. Our business has been disappointed with this bank location for several years now. Incompetent tellers/rude tellers, bankers that are not helpful, long lines with only one or 2 teller windows open etc. This is just the icing on the cake.

I hate wasting my time with a bad review, but with that same thought in mind, wasting your time is an issue that's very common at this place. I bank with these guys for over 15 years and customer service was never their strong suit, but things went from bad to worse. There are 13 cubicles there but why only 2 people working?? I spent 15 minutes there standing in the middle of the showroom like an idiot, waiting for help but nobody had the common decency of coming and asking if I needed help or nothing like " we will be right there with you". I just stood there just if I was a pile of s#!t! ZERO customer service.I had to leave as my lunch time was running out. Seriously considering on doing my business elsewhere, but at this time I'll do some due diligences so I don't fall in the same trap.

Customer service is terrible. They can't preform basic functions without a banker present which they never are. They screwed their customers out of millions of dollars and were fined for it. They then found another to charge their customers more money and were fined again. I wouldn't trust them at all.

This branch is very close to our office and unfortunately is our branch. I have been going there routinely for over 20 years. In the last 5 years it has been going downhill. Today was the last time I will go in. Zero customer service, line out the door, no tellers and the two that were there were RUDE! Not one employee in that branch wants to help, or make any kind of connection. It's across the board. It's beyond belief that this kind of customer service continues especially after all the negative reviews. Some computer will say how sorry they are to this review but nothing will be done. We will be taking our company to another bank Wells Fargo ... I'm sure you're shedding one tear. Oh and the one star has a minus in front of it. You deserve nothing.

This place sucks now. On average the wait time. To see a teller is 35 minutes. This is a common occurrence.

Wells Fargo, I cannot describe how sick to my stomach I am with you. I put a stop payment to a payment and specifically made it clear a stop payment on a payment that put my account -$2336 and I got charged 31 dollar which I agreed, but your institution put a stop payment on my rent and almost got my family evicted. And to make this right I had to use the last of my savings. Disgusting!

Can't figure out how else to leave a review for this through Wells Fargo so Yelp is the next best thing. Made an appointment well in advance to speak with a banker, and when we got to the bank about 3 minutes early, the security guard instructed us to skip the line outside and go right on in. We did as she said but there was not a single banker to be seen at the desks, or anywhere to tell us where to go for an appointment. We stood around a bit and then decided we would stand in the teller line to ask them if they could find an employee for our appointment. It was at this moment that a disgruntled man came inside and began to loudly harass us for about five whole minutes about "cutting in line" until someone finally came out of the back room to ask what "the problem was". We tried telling the man we had an appointment and we were only waiting for someone to come out to speak to, and that we were told to come right in. Not only did he completely ignore this but began to mock us and shout things like "you don't have an appointment! You just wanted to skip the line! That's not where you go if you actually had an appointment" etc. Well as stated we had an appointment, and when someone FINALLY came out of the back room to save us from this wildly uncomfortable incident, we got one quick "sorry about him" before walking us over to a desk where we continued to wait for our banker to show up, but NOTHING was said to this man who had harassed us for the last five minutes and caused a huge scene. It's because of people like him that someone should ALWAYS be out there to direct people where to go, not to mention be out there and available for their appointments, especially if the customer has taken the time to follow the rules and make appointments ahead of time. My poor dad who was with me said he didn't want the man to get any angrier because "that's the kind of person who would pull a gun on you nowadays". I should not have to feel this way when going in to a bank in Costa Mesa, and it's disappointing that nothing was said to the man who caused this uncomfortable scene.
