Very poor service. They operate with an overseas call center been trying to get propane for a week getting bumped off the next day the next day the next day the next day I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Very poor customer service and response. It took Amerigas almost two years to pick up the propane tank after our service was cancelled. They also wanted to charge us for tank rental for the period their tank was 'stored' on our property when they wouldn't pick it up.

We became aware that we had run out of propane at 1:00am. There was no one available at Amerigas by phone (and this was not an emergency.) I sent them an email reporting that I urgently needed a propane delivery. At 7:30am (six and a half hours later) Amerigas was knocking at my door to make a delivery! The driver relit the stove and water heater (it took him almost an hour to get them relit.) We've used Amerigas for over 20 years and have never had anything but quick, efficient and courteous service from them.

1. AmeriGas is ripping off its customers by charging a hazmat fee for each tank refill. The employee in charge of delivery does not take any additional safety measures nor does he utilize any one-time use safety equipment. Other companies do not charge a hazmat fee.2. The AmeriGas call center is based in India or Pakistan. My calls for help were useless and these so-called call center employees have no idea about how to solve issues in America. Currently there is no way we call request a call from an employee based in the USA.3. The AmeriGas website is set in such a way that when we are logged in onto our account we had no way of declining automatic deliveries. This is a clear tactic from AmeriGas to create additional deliveries (i.e. revenues) before a tank really needs a refill.While these predatory tactics may generate additional revenue in the sort term for AmeriGas, the impact on this company's reputation is considerable. The fact that AmeriGas is requesting reviews and states that they will "put together" some presumably positive reviews speaks to its need to shore up its reputation.We can not recommend this company to friends and neighbors.

I ordered gas on a Wednesday and was told it would be there on Friday or the following Monday. It came two weeks later, we almost ran out of gas. During that time I called four times. On the fourth time the lady said there was no record of me calling except for the initial order.

Locked off tank without notifying me due to supposed leak on my side. After testing my side there were no leaks. Lost 200 gallons in 52 days, got a credit for 500.00 which was mutually agreed upon, however just received another bill for 108.49 for service call for the leak which ended up being AmericaGas’s valve on their tank! I’m considering taking this to the Utilities Commission at this point.

You did so poorly that we have actually switch companies. Come pick up your tank. The $50 per month storage fee starts May 3rd. Pick your tank up before then or else you will have to pay.

I was a little below 20% and it was suggested I pay $200 extra for delivery or risk running empty and paying a tank penalty. I was told up to 10 days for delivery, which was never the case. My delivery took 12 days. I believe AmeriGas was deliberately trying to let my tank run dry to extort extra fees.

My family has been without gas for 11 days we are in Santa Rosa it's 32 degrees in our home we have 3 small children. I called everyday and waited til 8pm yesterday they said they would be out there and a truck never showed I am contacting the local news about this company, and the Better business bureau and the County. This is unacceptable and dealing with peoples lives
