I highly recommend coming to 5 Starz Auto Repair! I had been having issues with my Accord for 3 months. We had taken it to a Honda dealership near our house several times. This last time, they had it for a whole month, but insisted there was nothing wrong with it. The issue was that it wouldn't start consistently. When it did start, sometimes it would start, then turn off, or the GPS would randomly restart while I was driving.We finally took it to Rafi at 5 Starz, and he found the issue so fast! The security module was going bad and was triggering an anti-theft measure. How did Honda not find that?? Rafi is very knowledgeable, and he was able to get it fixed super fast. He didn't overcharge us. He didn't try to up-sell us. He is legit. Now I have my car back, and it's working great! I'm so thankful that we brought it here!

Never in my life have I met a mechanic so genuine, honest, informative, knowledgeable, and patient; and I come from a family of mechanics lolBut more than that, he’s become a trusted friend. Before Rafi, mechanics would be condescending and glaze over what they had “fixed”, or throw in extra “repairs” that didn’t need fixing. That, or they would “fix” it wrong so I would have to come back and spend more money! Again, I come from a family of mechanics, I know when so called “mechanics” fabricate repairs strictly for monetary gain. That language doesn’t exist for Rafi.Beautifully humble, but literally the best mechanic in the business! Let’s put it this way, even if the car dealer gave me a free coupon for service, I would still bring my car to Rafi instead. Rafi, thank you for being who you are and always explaining your process.As far as scheduling, my experience has taught me to be rightfully distrusting of “drive-thru mechanics.” Appointments are appreciated. It’s the difference between McDonalds and an actual restaurant! Good reviews my a**, just called and told them about my car problems. And his only response was I quote 'I'm busy til next week, thank you.' and hung up the phone. Was not able to get any other word in. I guess I won't be taking my car here then..Replying to your response, there was no mention about this place being appointment only and you had the opportunities to inform me on 2 separate phone calls. This is actually the second time I called the first time was last week and you said you were busy and can work on it but not today but never mentioned to make an appointment. So then I call today and you say you are busy but you fail to mention about this place being appointments only. You only mention this place being appointment only when I write this bad review

Rafi is one of the nicest, friendly and knowledgeable mechanic I have ever met or done business with. I took my father's car there to diagnose and repair an electrical issue. We had taken the vehicle to 2 other mechanics and they were unable to find the problem.Rafi not only took the time to find the problem, he fixed it in a timely fashion. My father being a senior citizen and on a fixed income the expense of the repair was a concern, but not with 5 Starz. The cost of the repairs was more than fair and less than we expected.We will definitely be returning to 5 Starz and will recommend to our friends & family and to all of you.FYI Rafi's charming, friendly and confident personality is not an act. This guy rafa is very knowledgeable and can literally do or fix anything when it comes to cars, he's been working on cars and even tanks in his homeland for his entire life. He is one of the only mechanics I can trust with my car, he won't damage anything or leave dents or scratches on my car. There are only a few words that can describe Rafi as a mechanic... Knowledgeable, reliable and honest. He saved me a lot of money when at another place I was given a wrong diagnostic and wanted to replace the head gasket. Someone talked to me about 5 Starz, and I took my Honda to Rafi. This review is long overdue. I have a pathfinder that needed to pass smog but I had an odometer issue. I took it to a shop and told them of the problem and they informed me after running a diagnostic on it that the car needed a new part ( only remember it would have cost ~150) and the labor for the part would have been around 600+. I needed a 2nd opinion, and found Rafi. I told him the same, that I think it has electrical issues and he said he'd check it out. Most honest and thoughtful mechanic I've ever hired. He kept my car for 2 days, keeping me in the loop practically every step of the way. Anytime he wanted to try something on the car, he'd call before doing so and let me know of any alternatives to the process. By the end, he saved me over half of what the first estimate would have cost. TL;DR: Rafi will save you time, money, and worry.

My name is John Rosenfeld I have four vehicles that I have taken here. Rafi has always done a very professional job on all of them and has always given me a great price. As far as I am concerned there is no better mechanic around that can diagnose the problem like he can, while giving you a very fair price. If you don't take your car here then you are waisting your time and money.

He has too much work. Makes you wait days and days before he can even look under the hood. And he don't return your phone calls, so you're left guessing. Do yourself a favor, and take your money/business elsewhere.

Rafi has been working on my family's cars for many years. He does excellent work and his prices are the most competitive around the area! He has solved all of our transmission, engine, and suspension needs, even on our Camey hybrid. Highly recommend.
