CAR RENTERS BEWARE ! ! Avis incorrectly inputted my return location, then wanted to charge me for their error. The sum was $180 more than the original quote, and all they would say was they were sorry for the inconvenience.I asked for a Covina CA pickup and Palm Springs CA drop-off, and AVIS inputted Palm Beach FL. When I tried to reason with them, they had no issue with conceding their error, but if I wanted the reservation I would have to pay the additional sum.

There was a lot of things that went wrong with my experience with Avis. The first thing was before I even got the car. After I placed my reservation online, I called the Avis support to confirm my reservation. My first question was answered just fine but when follow up question of, “Is there anyway I can ensure a Kia Soul?” All the representative had to say was no but she started to raise her voice at me. After getting the car, I noticed that it needed oil change cause it said it on the dash. The car also smelled like it was wet and in the process of drying. That’s the best I could describe the smell. The wipers also needed to be replaced because I needed them but the wipers were smearing. I thought using the wiper fluid would help but no, it was empty. The last big thing is the gas. When I first got the car, the the full tank range was 310. When I put the gas before I return the vehicle, I got it up to 362 but nowhere near full. Pictures attached.

Returned car late Was charged the late fees and had car reported stolen even though it was paid for did return the car but was treated absolutely ridiculous**they charged my bank account and went ahead and reported the car stolen after they charged my account shady characters I got arrested and they said there wasn't no payment and pressed charges on me I got bank statements showing this but the inconvenience they have caused and now I have an arrest record thanks to these guys**

Customer service was ok, however the car we rented had expired tags and no new registration in the glove box. We had to drive to a separate location that had the registration and tags. Also the tire pressure light constant on during the trip and we had to pull over quite a few times just to find out the tires were fine.

My husband and I had the most awful experience with this location! It seems the staff makes up their own policy and procedures at their convenience, we were wrongfully charged another day after THEY were late opening up the store, the vehicle was turned in accordingly per our contract, as a matter of fact an entire day prior than agreed, in which we documented the drop off by taking pictures, just in case. Their customer service is non existent, rather than explaining the extra charge they spoke to one another in their native language and rolled their eyes and displayed very unethical, discriminative and biased behavior. The heavy set woman unprofessionally motioned hand gestures for us to leave, and to file a dispute if we didn't like it, rather than explaining why they breached a signed agreement/contract. We will no longer be bringing our business to this location.

Don’t waste your time renting here. We reserved a mini van months in advance, and when we got there they said they did not have the car we reserved. They made no effort to help us find another option or solve the issue. Wasted a whole day of our vacation due to their poor management.

Had issue with my rental it didn’t have any oil after I long drive & it left me stranded. I thought I had extended my rental but turns out I didn’t I called & told them I had paid for another wk and they asked no questions or checked they just let me keep the same car but later on trying to get the replacement car I had problems I couldn’t get one anymore cause they never put the car under the new reservation the just left it like I never picked up my car. Such an embarrassing moment at the Avis in John Wayne airport.

We rented a Black Toyota Corolla for a Road Trip, when we got to our Destination we noticed BOTH front tires were Bald the thread was exposed. Upon returning the Car, I was told by the manager Alex Morazan because it was Prepaid I have to call Customer Service. I spoke with a Gentle Man who offered to take $17 off my bill! I was upset & told him I will Never return there again & I'm sure they will just wash the car & rent it out again like the did to us! Be Very Careful & Check the Car before you leave!!!

Made a reservation for my moms b day to get her a car and so she can travel this weekend she got there and had a woman lie to her saying that she had canceled her reservation, upon Investigating my self they gave a whole complete different story now their story was oh they ran out of mini vans and couldn't give her any thing. I came from enterprise rental because of prices but with the dishonesty of budget and avis I will gladly take our business back to enterprise

I am giving the 5 stars for customer service mostly in part to Alex Morazan! He was awesome. I was looking to buy a car from Avis a month ago and the process and the service from the car sales people was less than pleasant. However, Alex the operator was the best. He sympathized with me and recommended a car to purchase instead of the bait and switch the Avis car salesman was offering. He is what made the experience more pleasant. Thank You Alex for your help. Although the salesman of the Avis cars was definitely not great you helped me during a stressful situation!

Customer service was absolutely great. I unfortunately did not get the 2 young girls on the counters name
