It's been more than three weeks since I ordered a new laptop. Web site shows orders ship in 5-10 business days. I was told it would ship almost two weeks ago. It still shows processing. I have emailed and called multiple times and gotten no reply. I have no idea what's going on. Just trying to cancel my order at this point.

I'm pretty sure this company is a scam. They don't answer their phone or respond to emails and won't process my RMA which is under their extended warranty for another 4 months.

Absolute scammers! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. We purchased an additional warranty and have been trying to get in touch via phone and email and have gotten a complete runaround. They have promised to send an RMA multiple times with no follow through and for days now, they don’t answer the phone. Again, absolutely DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. Go somewhere legitimate.

Needed something capable and portable for work/play as I am on the road now for much of the year. Ken helped me select the right product at a great price. He patiently answered all my questions and expertly re-pasted my laptop before sending it to me. It scores well above average on all common benchmarks and I am very happy with its performance.
Compared to the big box stores, it is nice to know that the product you are getting has received the once-over for quality and functionality. Lots of customization options too.
When I purchase my next machine, I will make sure I check here first. Thanks Ken!

Terrible experience with this company, i bought a Msi Titan 18 Hx and after 2 weeks started noticing some defects (bubbles near the trackpad) I contact them and they didn't help me in any way and told me to contact msi directly. Last time I will buy from them or Msi.

Ken from GentechPC was great. He went out of his way to help me with many things, from choosing the right laptop to me to explaining the many different custom mods GentechPC offers to improve the performance of my new laptop.
Their website is no-frills, easy on the eyes, and simple to use. I found the model I was looking for within 15 seconds.
Despite so many free upgrades (liquid metal repasting, additional cooling pads, dead pixel warranty), the final price came out to be lower than all the competitors and big box stores. I'm tired of so many places charging scalper prices and I'm very glad to report that GentechPC isn't one of them. For the laptop I eventually decided on purchasing, I actually paid a couple hundred less than the next best competitor.
My laptop just arrived two days ago and I've been benchmarking it thoroughly to make sure it is performing well. My CPU and GPU are running cool and every feature is working exactly as intended. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.
I would recommend GentechPC to anyone who is looking to get a high performance custom laptop!

I've bought at least 4 laptops from gentech and have had the best experience every time. My favorite place to buy scarse inventory luxury laptops. The best part is they get them in at the same time as the big box stores and ship quickly too.

Laptop goes into blackscreen and I ask for repair or replacement. Does not honor it and wants to charge shipping plus restocking fee

What a let down. Bought a new MSI Laptop for them to build. I have had issues from day one. I've taken it to various people to have had it looked at to much avail beside saying I need to update my drivers. Only real solution for them is to send it back or to MSI to look at. That will be about a month of down time. They waited for the refund or exchange time to lapse. Left me with no real options for someone whose work is based on the laptop. They left me to buy another computer so I'm able to work, which I won't be buying from them. Look elsewhere for someone more reliable.Update: MSI repaired it, but never gave me an update on the problem. Still haven't received it back so don't know for sure it has been fixed. The MSI Stealth laptop configuration sucks don't buy one.Update 2: MSI repaired fans and CPU and cooling system. Laptop is going back to MSI for RMA again. Yet Again this place wouldn't give me my money back. Gen Tech is Shady and don't follow there warranty MSI is even worse of a computer
