Kitchen & Bath near Covina, CA

“Moving into an older home meant accepting a few outdated features, and the kitchen cabinets were near the top of the list. We liked the room itself, so tearing everything out didn't seem necessary. Refacing gave us a way to keep the original character while making the kitchen look much more current. We're really pleased with the change.”

“May not have the best furniture but has all sorts of gizmos for the house. A creative space for the home and a great place to get lunch while you're visiting.”

“Best Quality, best customer service and best prices! Highly Recommended.
AJ was super helpful, nice and professional. She was so patient and went through everything with us patiently until we picked everything we needed. She also made the design we’re really looking for. It was a great experience and highly recommend it to anyone looking to remodel his home!”

“We needed to replace our dishwasher. We filled out a request on the website of L&D appliances listing our desire for a specific brand and mentioned that our space was non standard and that we wanted a white dishwasher. Within minutes, Andrew Fields, Appliance Sales Associate at L&D, responded by email. He informed us that for our non standard space what we needed was an ADA compliant machine and that our selected brand did not currently offer such a machine in white. He sent links for such a machine built by other companies. We were especially impressed that he even steered us to another retailer where we could purchase a discontinued model from our preferred brand that was ADA compliant and in white.

Andrew was always very courteous and pleasant to work with. We highly recommend him.”

“Yvonne is awesome. She was patient and gives great advice. This is my first time remodeling and I have so many questions. She was able to give me great suggestions and very patient answering all my questions. I do wish the company has more color choices. Their product is solid. Very high quality. The original cabinets installed by the builder were from FX and I love them. This is why I went back to the builder for reference. They said they always buy from FX. Can't be more satisfied.”

“Great no pressure environment to shop at, was greeted as soon as I walked in, and when I needed help they were there to answer my appliance questions, great experience overall”

“(Translated by Google) Very good place, the guy who attends is very friendly, helpful and sincere. And with a wide variety of tiles.(Original)Muy buen lugar el muchacho que atiende es muy amable servicial y sincero . Y con mucha variedad de azulejos.”

“We did a full home renovation a little over a year ago, but I accidentally forgot about this place and decided to do a review now since we bought several items here and they have mostly stood up to the test of time. We bought 2 large LED mirrors for our Master Bathroom which have actually been fantastic. We also bought 2 other LED mirrors from Costco for our other bathrooms, and I'll have to say that the ones we bought here are much, much better and they were around the same price as Costco. You can definitely see the difference in quality not only in the lighting, but also in the mirror quality as the mirror we bought here has a much more clear reflection. I always thought a mirror is a mirror, but that is absolutely not true and it's clear when you have two different brands to compare them to each other, you can definitely see how one might have a better reflection than another. We also bought a freestanding bath tub which has so far been excellent. No issues so far and it also feels much bigger when you actually take a bath in it, then when when we saw it in the showroom. This also was probably around $200-300 cheaper than if we bought a similarly sized one at Home Depot or Lowes. With our freestanding bath tub, we also bought a freestanding bathtub faucet in nickel. Again, so far it's worked great and we have no complaints. This also was much cheaper than buying a more popular name brand such as Delta or Kohler. I would think it was more than half the price of the name brands. This was probably our best deal at Luxor. Finally, we bought 2 different brands of one-piece elongated toilets. This was probably our biggest disappointment. Although the price of these toilets were probably around one-half of name brands, such as Kohler, I think in the future, I would just go with a name brand. These aren't bad toilets, but one of the brands has really cheap seats that move around a lot. We tried to replace the seats, but it's hard to find a perfect size that fits. While the other toilet's seat is fine, but will splash a little water outside the bowl when you flush, which is kind of gross. Overall, we can live with the deficiencies of these toilets and would probably give them 3 stars for the price, but taking into account the other items, I'd have to give them 5 stars. Also, overall, the customer service is good. I wouldn't say great, but good and probably better than if you were to purchase at Home Depot or Lowes.”

“My wife and I decided to do a complete kitchen remodel. We had a general idea of what we wanted but didn't have any plans or anything of that nature and we didn't really even know where to start. I hired a contractor that was referred to me by a friend. My contractor told me to give Marlon at Farada Cabinets a call and he would help us figure out the layout of the kitchen. Marlon was quick to set up an appointment and come take a look at what we were working it. He took pictures, measurements and got a general idea of what we wanted. Mind you walls were going to be removed, sink was going to be moved, all appliances were pretty much going in different places. He had plans drawn up very quickly and made it all come together. From there we just made a few small adjustments till it was exactly what we wanted. And now with our kitchen almost 100% complete I honestly couldn't be happier. I walk in to my house and love what i see everyday. Marlon was there every step of the way. Super helpful, polite, professional and just all around pleasant person to deal with. Any minor issues were taken care of with no hassle. I'm so glad he was referred to us. I honestly don't know what I would have done without him. Once the kitchen is painted I post before and after pictures.”

“***10 STARS***

Our contractor, who has worked with Nextar for over 20 years, brought us here. Over the course of a year planning our long-anticipated kitchen renovation, we practiced due diligence and researched at least a dozen places. Conclusion--no one else comes even close to Nextar in their unbelievable combination of:

1. QUALITY 2. PRICE POINT 3. DESIGN 4. SERVICE 5. HONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE AND INTEGRITY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS

This type of business basically no longer exists in our day and age, but Nextar is a true hidden gem!

From the owners and management, to their designers, to their support staff, everyone here is down-to-earth, super competent, and hard-working. They truly aim to earn customer loyalty instead of doing the least possible for the quickest buck. From start to finish, you get exactly what they tell you—no shady sales tactics, no gimmicks, no last-minute markups or surprise fees. Just straightforward service for high-quality products that are classy, modern, and functional, with a great selection, and amazing prices!

Aiden was our fantastic designer, who is also bilingual Korean. It was our first time doing a kitchen renovation, and he was so patient and informative with every aspect of helping us manifest our vision into reality. We had many questions and went through multiple changes as we got closer to our project, but he remained super precise, focused, and patient through it all. He always provided insightful feedback to make our kitchen design truly perfect, balancing aesthetic and functionality for us with engineering considerations from his end. Thank you so much Aiden, for designing our fabulous dream kitchen!

We also consulted with Erin on occasion when Aiden was not in. She is so easy to work with, has excellent taste, is super knowledgeable, and makes very helpful suggestions!

We got the Light Oak Shaker cabinets, newly introduced to their collection in 2025, paired with the same bronze handles they have on their lovely showroom display. These “modernized classic” style cabinets were the perfect update which still matched our traditional woody home. Other places with more traditional wooden styles were a little too outdated looking, and extremely expensive for real wood. These cabinets blend real wood with lighter elements for a truly wooded feel and aesthetic, while maintaining their ready-to-assemble format and affordability.

When we finally arrived at our project date and paid for our materials in July of '25, NOTHING in stock had been marked up even one cent! But when we went to pay for our counters and floors that same week, those other businesses had preemptively marked up all of their in-stock materials 30%-40% due to the tariffs, which were still not officially in effect yet. Nextar’s business integrity saved us from completely breaking our planned budget. I believe this incredible level of loyalty to their customers is a huge factor in why they have continued to thrive through the inevitable hardships of the economy and business world.

The quality and design of Nextar's beautiful cabinets and handles elevated our entire kitchen far beyond what we might have gotten anywhere else, especially at the amazing price we paid. Our family feels like we are living in a cozy yet modern alpine resort somewhere in Canada every time we walk into our kitchen now!

Our whole experience here was more than we could have ever expected. Thank you to everyone at Nextar for your kindness, exceptional service and quality, and hard work! May they be blessed with their continued success!”

“So, as novices to home renovation and all things plumbing, we were seeking education & answers to lots of questions. The guys here really know their stuff, took their time with explaining things to us & were kind enough to even print specs on a couple items "just in case." They weren't looking to make a sale, but rather be perfectly helpful & thats exactly what they were!”

“Great place . I had to purchase a few items for outside plumbing needs and these guys are great. They are very knowledgeable and helpful unlike any of the big box stores. They understand customers. ..”

“Great place with huge amount of high quality natural stones and a great varieties of quartz tops. The prices are the best in S Ca. There was no upcharge on oversize stones. They have quite a few different factory-finished sizes, as well as big slabs. The staff were friendly and the owner was a great guy who didn't mind sharing his honest opinion. We purchased a good number of beautiful quartzite pieces. They all turned out better than expected. The showroom is open to the public. They will mark the ones you want to buy. Your installer can pick them up and pay the contractor's price.”

“Be careful of the construction! I had to use a different map then my truckers app to get here because there's some sections, of the streets are shut down because of the construction.Pretty easy to get in and the gentleman with the long hair seem very nice. They're open weekends but for a very short time.***ATTENTION:*** Truck drivers there is a smokey gray color door, with a bell to ring, by dock # 9 that's where you go to check in.”
