This place is not good. The meats are super dry with limited flavor. They don't provide enough salsa and when I asked for no sour cream on the shrimp tacos they of course doused it in sour cream. The horchata and jamaica are among the worst I've ever had, it's very apparent they are not made fresh and are super watery and from concentrate or something which was insulting. Won't be reordering from here again.

Larios has the best salsas around. Meat department is complete with good tasting marinated meats. And a well stocked store. But I was very disappointed in the carne Asada burrito. I split one with my wife at home. I had to force my half down, my wife just threw hers in the trash.

horrible lady at the cash box was s super rude and super unfriendly ! she was very inconsiderrate to my food order to the point that she caused my appetite to vanish and , i left my uneaten food outside on their table. there are 10,000 places to eat at and i regret stopping here to eat a kwik bite ! never again will i patronize this eatery and if you consider comimg here: you are officially forewarned, eat elsewhere !! i think she is the owner's daughter. wow ! despicable service ! may the fleas of 1,001 camels infest her armpits ! i will close by saying : i eat out at lease ten times a week or more and othet eateries do give such attrocious service! shame on you - lario's funked up meat market !!

It's okay, I guess I was expecting a little more of a selection of meats. They did have asada and their kitchen smelled good. It's really small but the customer service was friendly. The steaks my bf and I bought were okay, they were a little tough even though we only cooked them to medium well. I guess I could try the asada but overall probably won't go back.

It has been a while since I came to Larios Meat Market. I was craving tamales and champurrado, so it was the right time to go! The market is very clean. They have many options of marinated meat, either beef, pork, chicken or seafood. They have a section for ready made food to mention a few; tacos, Chile relleno, sope, tamales, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, torta and many more. The market has many sections for fresh produce, groceries, frozen food, drinks and even detergents. I ordered; - 2 champurrado, which were warm and thick chocolate-based delicious beverage. It's a must try! - 2 tamales. 1 chicken and 1 pork The masa was very flavorful and moist. The filling was the right proportion to masa. - 2 fish tacos. They were okay but not the best fish tacos I tried - 2 cabeza taco The cabeza was very flavorful and juicy - 2 al pastor tacos, they were really delicious. -1 Birria de res plate, comes with rice, beans and salad. The birria was spectacular, well- seasoned and very juicy. The parking lot is very limited, but you can park in the street or across the street in 99c plaza. The service was great and fast. The employees were very nice and friendly. It is a nice market to stop by and try their fresh food.

Bought 30 pork tamales, they were so dry that we did not even try to give them away! It is sad to see what they are doing with the quality of their tamales. We thru them away into the trash yes they were that bad!!! We have bought tamales their in the past and they were ok but they have gotten greedy or they have just stopped carrying about the quality of their product! That's it money is too hard to come by to just waste it on someone else's greed!!!

Pork tamales not worth the price. Too much masa not enough pork. The pork was somewhat season but dry. Never go there for pork tamales.

I came here Sunday, an hour before closing. This place lacks hospitality. I have been a Covina resident for many years. From time to time, I stop by here. I was craving tamales. I asked what kind they had. I wanted 4 jalapeño and cheese and 2 chicken. Basically half a dozen. They told me the cheese ones were cold and the chicken frozen. I bought them . I went to the register to pay for these items, also a small sprite soda. I was charged almost 27.00 for this. I was so shocked. Then I noticed they charged me 3.99 for each tamale. I paid, and decided I will never return here again for tamales. I got home and heated up a jalapeño and cheese tamale. Mostly nada and the tamale was dry and lacked flavor. I know this place had been here for a very long time. Over priced and the quality is not very good. I'd rather by tamales from a parking lot vendor

If you think this spot is good you definitely don't know what good or even ok is and probably have never experienced or tried any quality Meats for a legit Butcher or Mexican prime meat market tried their carnitas taco it was decent best I've ever had No just OK as far as marinated meats go definitely would t order the chicken or the ranchera from here again. Oh and $4.99 for there tamales is wild I have no problem paying top dollar for anything just has to be worth it and the tamales here were Trash! I spent $15 for 3 tamales that's almost laughable but in all seriousness they weren't even worth $1.50 flavorless bland dry and sloppy greasy mess a true disrespect to a good tamale.

I'm only commenting on there chicken verde and green chili cheese tamales. The chicken verde, they are decent size, but there is majority masa, hardly any chicken or green sauce, dry and honestly almost no flavor. The green chili and cheese, again decent size but a lot of masa, very dry, although not as dry as the chicken. The cheese was not very cheesy at all like it didn't melt very well and it got rubbery away. Only one slice of green chili in it. I was very disappointed as I bought them for my family to have with Thanksgiving dinner. I definitely won't go back for either of these two types of tamales.
