“On 7/2, my engine blew out. Called over 10 shops for an over-the-phone preliminary quote, and Citrus was one of the few patient and honest ones, breaking down their quote and answering all my questions. On 7/10, I towed my car there, and the next day, Monte called me back with more detailed costs/quotes for the different repair options and its repair timelines. He finished the repair on 7/13, ran tests on 7/14, and I picked up my car on 7/15. The final price was within the ballpark of what he quoted me over the phone, and in line with the detailed quote from 7/10. So honesty is a huge plus. On the way home, my old radiator hose broke and I stopped on the side of the freeway. Even though this was no longer his issue and not a part of his repair, when I called him, he drove all the way to me (over 20 miles away), to diagnose the car, in case it was just a coolant issue. When he saw the broken radiator hose, he offered to wait for the tow back to his shop so he can fix it for me, charging me only for the part. In the end, he went above and beyond to fix everything the day of. I will definitely be back, because the honesty, friendliness, sense of responsibility, and professionalism are hard to find. Despite the small hiccup, I left the shop confident in the work.”
