BEWARE!!!!!!!! The worst uhaul I've ever been to. Save yourself a headache and go to another one. The gave us a faulty truck. Be sure to check your truck. If you're renting from here the people here don't know what they're doing. The girl that works here Marlen gave us a Truck that could have killed us. I really hope the manager dose something about this. This is the worst situation I've ever been through.

I've been coming here for over 25 years. I rent trailers, trucks, get hitches installed, buy packing supplies, and propane. I've always been treated well.

Store is excellent, staff is excellent, Equipment is suspect.. UHAUL was able to find me a truck and trailer, but the truck ended up having an issue at the end of our move.. It lost the Driveshaft 20 miles from my new home. Leaving us stranded with the truck and trailer in travel lanes.. The truck and trailer were finally picked up and I was allowed to get my car off the trailer and the truck and trailer were taken to a lot.. I was not offered transfer services or another truck to get my stuff out of the broken down truck. I was able to get a truck from the a UHAUL store in the area and they were very helpful.

Got a hitch installed here. Total time it took was 15 minutes with an appointment. When I came today their systems were down. The young lady from El Monte jotted down my number and told me that she'd call me back if their systems came back online. I'm so appreciative of her because she's did call me back and also answered all my questions about hitches. I really felt that I was taken care of here and she truly wanted to help me. I would recommend this uhaul to friend and family if they were looking to install a hitch.

These guys falsified the mileage on my contract. When I got into the truck I told the guy the mileage was wrong and he said, just take a picture and you can dispute it. So I did. I uploaded it exacly like he told me. I took the truck back after two hours. I put 5 miles on it. They charged me for 88 miles! When I called the guy he said "send me the photo." I'm like, I already uploaded it. Apparently that was a con. I sent him the photo and then they asked for a time stamped photo! Which I have but don't yet know how to send. They also lied about when I returned the truck - I had it from 8 to 10 am and they said it was checked in at 11:50 am. My fault because I trusted them to send me the receipt - which I had to call and badger them for. My advice? Make sure you get paper copies of everything.

Companies sometime overlook the importance of good customer service and it's value to their overall business model. Profits often overshadow customer satisfaction but in this case it was just the opposite. I've rented several trucks in the past and have always been relatively pleased with how the truck performed. With that, I believe the staff also deserves recognition for their performance. Erik did an amazing job. He was very pleasant and friendly and took the time to correct an issue with my credit card. Although, other customers were waiting he didn't try and rush my transaction, and I felt he truly personified the true meaning of customer service. Well done!

I don't like to slam people online, but purchasing propane they told me my tank is too old so I offered to buy one and it's like they don't want to sell it. I'm state this tank is no good to me so I'll just buy one out right since you don't do any type of exchange program with a discount on the tank I was willing to pay full price, but the two guys working there do not know the policies of the U-Haul store the one filling my tank which was cool tells me yeah we do the exchange program. It's a little more money with us so I'm like whatever the money is not the issue then I get inside and the Asian kid tells me we don't do an exchange program for like whatever I'll buy one. Well we don't discard tanks is what he states. The kid filling my 3 tanks of propane is telling me something totally different. Three tanks to fill actually four but the one they said was too old so I even paid for those tanks I ask to speak to the manager and of course he's out to lunch. Great service guys you need to train you me employees better!

I went here for a hitch install. I got to say I was very impressed with all of the staff and store. Very professional starting with the store Manager Inez all the way down. I went to a few places and one other U-Haul but didn't feel good with the people who were going to do the install. For sure I recommend this store!

I came here to get a propane refill over the weekend. The sign outside says to press the button and someone will come out to assist. I press the button and wait about 5 minutes- nothing. I went inside and as I'm walking in the door and one of the employees calls "not it" (apparently meaning he didn't want to help me) and another employee starts to argue with him that he can't do that. I guess I walked up to the wrong guy because the person I walked up to refused to look at or acknowledge me. I went to the next employee who helped me but overall this is not a welcoming place and I'll never be back. There were at least 3 employees standing around and zero customers so it's not even like they were busy.

I had a great experience at the U-Haul Covina location and would happily recommend others to this location. Erick and Cesar were courteous and helpful on the hitch installation for my 2018 Ford Escape. I had to reschedule multiple times due to changes in my work schedule and they were always super polite and accommodating. Each time they'd call me to confirm my appointment. They finally even offered to fit me in on a Saturday, despite being swamped at the end of the month. Erick even showed me how to attach my used Thule bike rack onto our hitch. Great team!

I got why I needed. Not too happy about the price. Service was meh. Availability brought me here. I think u haul knows they're probably one of the few moving rental companies. So they over charge. I got what I needed but I'm not happy about it.
