My autistic child was having a melt down first thing in the morning and we began packing our stuff but he was loud. So I did what I could as a mom to help him. But the manager, and some guy with tattoos all over, came in my room with out even knocking or asking and triggered us even more when we were already trying to leave and they insinuated we were harming our child which really made us upset. I’m never going here again and if you have a special needs child, I suggest the same.

My husband and I travel all over for work and we don't often get a chance to brag on a hotel. Most leave a lot to be desired. The Motel 6 in Crescent, CA. is not only clean, and well priced, the staff was AMAZING! Tracey and Gina sure we had everything we need and were great company!

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean but I was offered no service the 4 evenings I stayed. This has to be one of the noisiest motels I think I've ever stayed in in my life though and I am not talking road noise. Every night I was here I could hear every single footstep in the room above me. Tonight I called the front desk and they said maybe they're putting up a dog kennel or something. I don't know but it sure is loud. Highly recommend staying on the second floor if you stay here. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and the beach is super close.I personally would not stay here again because I have a dog who cannot walk upstairs so I could not get a second floor room. I would never ever stay in a first floor room here again. This is absolutely misery. I wish I could record the noise and post it here. Omg!.On the plus side it gets quiet by at least midnight so I will get some sleep eventually.

They wash the top sheet daily! We stayed a couple nights waiting for a rental car.So we saw the flip of the place. They work hard here.Room 205 was large 2 bed upstairs window facing the side road and jetty instead of the parking lot was awesome.Transit is close by but we didn’t have anyone sketch hanging out on property. Which is really nice.

I spent 1 night here as I normally do every few months. But this time wasn't so great. There was no power no hot water. Being left in the dark and having to shower in cold water and still having to pay full price wasn't worth it at all. I've always had a great experience here except this one time. I hope in the future they can find way to accommodate the guests that have stayed there during this difficult time.

It's not a nice fancy place to stay, but it was clean and served its purpose. We were looking for the cheapest place to stay for our adventure. We only needed a place to sleep a couple of nights, which was located fairly close to the places we wanted to go.

Clean room, but needs a little touch up. Very helpful and friendly staff. BONUS - it’s the only hotel in Crescent City that allows dogs. We travel with our chihuahua, so that’s a must.

This motel isn’t anything special but it’s a nice cheap motel for the location!! Redwood 10 min away!! Beach with in walking distance!! Enjoyed my stay here!! Would have given 5 stars but there was no fridge or microwave!! Not sure how these motels don’t add this simple fix!! Small fridge is only about $100! Get some fridges!!! And microwaves!!

It was super dirty. We didn't want to step into the shower because it was just... bad. The mattresses looked brand new so that was nice. No fridge or microwave but for the price and being so close to the beach it was still worth it. Great place to crash. It was pretty loud at night so bring some ear plugs.

I'd say 2.5 but ima give three stars because. Its motel six be happy they changed the sheets. The dog barking in the room next to mine kept my asd kids up all night and the weirdness you get for blanket requests i mean what do you expect for 90 a night to sleep.Coffee was good though that's why the 3 and only reason.3 is fair.Rooms: Its a box and shower its motel 6.Maybe the tv will work maybe it won't. Its schrodingers tv.Safety: It felt safe at all times even when the power went out. A few guys really had to work to get those cheap emergency lights working give those dudes a clap. Be climbing on stools and stuff busting buttWalkability: It's off 101 so naw its a death trap in that regard.Noteworthy details: The staff are nice and respectful. You can tell its management cutting corners but again its motel six what can you do.They make hella good coffee in the lobby though.

We checked into Motel 6 in Crescent City around 4 pm and found they were almost fully booked for the night. Despite this, our room was extremely clean and the bathroom and shower were spotless. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was and never heard any noise from the street or other guests.

They Checked someone else into our room and they walked right in, 5 minutes after we got settled.Rooms were eh. Clean but not really. Bath Towels old and scratchy. Pillows not really comfortable. Ac worked fine. Tv network, spotty and could not watch one thing for a few minutes without interruption. Shower got hot but couldn’t adjust the showerhead.I’m sad we paid what we did for the room.

Rooms smelled pretty bad, the shower didn’t drain and the toilet wiggled pretty bad. The lady’s at the front desk were nice and friendly, though.
