I really enjoy visiting my local u.s. bank. The staff are always so friendly and helpful to me. They have that extra "something" that makes me feel so welcomed there. I wish I could remember all of their names as they all remember mine when I come in and they greet me. I do remember Noah's. He is so nice...as they all are!

Yesterday I made my third attempt to make a deposit of around $5000 in cash and checks at your Crescent City, CA 95531 location. Once again this became a joke in the customer service playbook! Attempt one failed because your ATM rejected several perfectly good $100 bills and counted the remaining $4700 as $4200 or about $500 SHORT! I chose to have the money returned however the touch screen was barely working so that action took multiple "touches" of the touch screen! Believe me that will raise your blood pressure! Several days later I returned to the same ATM. This machine is basically inaccessible from a vehicle so I parked four feet out as usual got out my cane and walked over (I'm 75 and have a handicap due to extreme and continual back pain). I inserted my card entered my pin and was confronted with a screen with the deposit button greyed out, as in not operative. Once again the touch screen was not working correctly and it took numerous "touches" to get my card back! Which brings us to my THIRD attempt, yesterday. We drive up to your "bank" and notice a long line of cars at the ATM as usual. I decide to forgo the ATM and go inside even though it will cause me pain. We are parked right in front of the main door which clearly states open 9-5. I call to make an appointment, ask when the next appointment is and I'm told "we're closed"! I try to explain that the front door clearly states 9-5 and then explain to the "manager" that US BANK is CLEARLY taking advantage or the pandemic by shortening hours and requiring appointments, and not sending out ANY notice of either! and that every other business that I know of makes due with masks and distancing. No wonder you have a huge line at the ATM your branch is essentially closed! In this town US Bank continues to be a rude, sick joke on the public it's supposed to serve. Looking back in my phone records I made my call to your manager at 4:01 while she claimed they close at 4:00. NOW THERE IS IS SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE/APPRECIATION FOR YOU!!!! Doesn't it make you feel all warm and fuzzy? That kind of goes along with the time I dropped $35K into your bank only to receive a hearty "there you go" as a thanks you! So this time I had to keep $5000 at home for a week because US Bank equipment and service absolutely SUCKS! Please supply me with contact information for a district manager or some other manager who could have an impact on this armpit of customer service!

The hours of operation are 10:00 to 12:30 and some more time later that doesn’t matter to me because I’m at work. They won’t cash checks. Your told you can have some of your money. When I asked if I just needed to have enough money to cover the amount of the said check I was just told no. I asked if I needed to leave 10-20k, I was told maybe. If you want to bank mobile and you want to deposit on app unless your check is less than a certain amount then you are out of luck. You have to get authorization from someone not sure who because I asked about it and they didn’t know how. I wish I could give them a zero star.

I can understand why this bank can't even get a full 3 stars. My first experience of this bank a teller ran up and locked the door on me right as i was trying to enter. She said "Sorry we're closed". I couldn't believe it because it was only 4pm. So I made sure to go earlier the next time and again the door was locked as i was walking up. This time it was 12:32 and apparently the WHOLE BANK closes from 12:30-1:30 for lunch. This bank is only operating for 6 hours a day. I work from 8-4:30. Workers who work can't go after work OR during their break. The parking lot was so small and the line for the ATM at 12:35 was so long that it was going the whole way around the building and I was stuck in my parking spot and couldn't even back out until 3 cars were finished at the ATM and even then I had to reverse my car out the entrance just to avoid having to wait in the ATM line just to get out of the parking lot. I was 20 minutes late returning from my lunch break. One good thing about this visit though is that I did prevent someone else from making the mistake of using this bank. I suggested opening a new account at another bank to a lady who was also surprised that it was closed at 12:32 and she asked me if there was any GOOD banks in town and I told her Coast Central Credit Union.

My name is Corey Morgan and I have been a US BANK customer for about 10 years. I have had very positive experiences with them the entire time. I live in Crescent City, Ca and i would like to thank Tiffany, Arielle and the rest of the employees at the Creacent City branch for always smiling and making the experience a pleasant one.

They want you to save money yet their ATM only dispenses 20's and above. I understand not dispensing 5 dollar bills but no 10's. So much for the ATM being a convenience. .

Closing the account I just opened ! Lets start with I am a wells fargo customer, I know.. But they have been great since the scandal! Anyhoo, I opened a US because well, its here and wells Fargo isn't. So I have the account opened only a month while waiting on the clearing of my old account.. So far, I had to make an appointment to deposit the opening balance, a pain in the a** its 6/16/2020 everything else is open! I call today because I never received the atm card in the mail and the temporary has expired. The lady on the phone is beyond rude! Cant wait to get off the phone, telling me I ordered you a new card. I told her I never asked her for a card , I wanted an appointment. She kept talking over me, I couldn't get a word in ! Im closing my account tomorrow ! This branch should just close.. Chase is open and this place is so special its still closed... Good luck, Im out !

This "Bank" personifies RUDENESS! For starters the ATM is guarded by two huge pillars which make it impossible to drive up to the ATM. Most people park 4' out and walk up! Those who don't are immortalized by the rainbow of car paint colors left on the posts! Clerks are worse... my record is a $35K deposit without getting a thanks you! "There you go" or "you're welcome" is not an appropriate response for a teller! Today I got a long computer call about a problem with my Bank Card so I called the customer service number only to run into another long computer session. Where are the damn humans supposedly working for US??? I finally got an old bitty with an attitude who hung up on me! Using the excuse of the Covid Pandemic this branch has been closed now for weeks. Without ANY notice! My wife tried to go in to make a deposit only to be told that she had to have an appointment. So she called and got a 2:00 PM appt. which was in 5 minutes and there were NO customers in the bank! WTF??? Several of my renters have also been turned away while trying to deposit rent checks to my account! My $100k account is taking a walk down the street this week!!

I was passing through Crescent City looking for a nonexistent BOA. Stopped into US Bank and they took care of everything. Even though it's not my bank. Thanks Elizabeth Sarah and Jason. I like that town. Nice people.

As always this bank is the worst. It's not doing any favors for holding up at quality or standard or service. Every time I come to town and use ATM or go inside it's nothing but problems. This bank should just be closed.

Lines are usually really long, and there is only ever one or two tellers helping customers. The manager and other staff are always sitting at a desk when they could get up and help people get out faster.
