Went in to grab something for a small side project the other day and asked the blonde teen employee at the front desk where I could find them. She said they didn’t have them though. Luckily before I left, the other worker Ari had overheard and lead me to what I was looking for! I don’t understand why the other worker said you didn’t have them, I wasn’t rude and normally the service here is great. Ari really saved the day!

Great local hardware store. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They have many items that are hard to find locally. If you need something, this is the place to go! I have never left here without buying something. If you need a chainsaw or mason jars, this is the place for you!

The employees in this place are great always super helpful. The bad reviews here seem to be from all hateful people with nothing better to do with their lives and come in demanding things before closing. Plan your lives better and don’t blame your shortcomings on other people.

I have never had a hardware store change my life. Perhaps I should give this five stars instead…
When we walked in, there were three employees standing around. All three on the sales floor. No one offered to help us.
We went to the store to get some paint for our son’s project. After five minutes alone, our ten year-old went and asked for help.
One of the employees obliged and came to “help” us in the paint department. We heard her coming before we saw her as she had the album “Siamese Dream” by Smashing Pumpkins playing loudly on her phone. Furthermore, she continued to have Smashing Pumpkins play whilst holding her phone in her hand the entire time she was interacting with my family. Musical theater!
We inquired about black paint, to which she recommended a certain brand. Great! We then asked if we could get some, because the shelves had only cans of white paint. She then told us they only carry cans of white paint, and they would have to mix it to make it black.
We said, “Okay”, to which she responded she would not mix the paint for us, because it was too close to closing, and there wasn’t enough time.
Now, I run a business myself. Heck, I even went to business school. BUT again, perhaps I should give five stars on this review because if you can run a retail store with three employees working, not doing a damn thing, AND still make money? Then I’m clearly in the wrong line of work and need to open my own chain of hardware stores ASAP.
My professors lied to me. My entire life is a lie. Thank you ACE Hardware. Your margins have to be INSANE to make an outfit like this work. Perhaps the HOLES IN YOUR FLOOR add to your fiscal throughput.
Stupid me! My family and I drove here from Lake Arrowhead to get paint, when the real reason we came was for me to get a life lesson. A lesson I am taking to heart.
I’m going to cancel my Home Depot and Lowe’s Pro accounts and spend all my time and money here. Maybe I’ll learn by osmosis how to make it work and open my own hardware store.
Yes, perhaps I will fail, but at least I will be brave in the attempt. And Smashing Pumpkins happens to be one of my favorite bands, so at least there’s that.

Small hardware store with great folks that ALWAYS has what I need for whatever I am working on. It always amazes me how I am never disappointed when I go there looking for something. They ALWAYS seem to have it. AMAZING.

I like the small mountain community ACE hardware. This place makes you feel welcomed every time . The employees always greet you with a smile. They offer help, and you don't have to wander around the store to find someone like the big box stores.
