A beautiful space that we visit often for local events. I imagine it would make a beautiful and versatile wedding event space as well! The staff are friendly and it's always kept clean. Nice decorations, modern AND classic. Comfortable. Lots of windows and beautiful views.

Great Place, very Beautiful Venue, and friendly staff.Love the church that is here, Woodlands , and also the groups that come.**Update!**From Weddings to veterans Events to woodlands church here at the San Moritz, this historic place offers a lot of opportunity to get events groups and the community together.The last event I attended was the community gathering for Thanksgiving ? which they offered free food and meals to the whole community and visitors around the area which was helped and sponsored by the Woodlands Church.I love attending the Woodlands church her with Pastor Daniel as the head pastor. The message is great and the band that plays is also really professional and creates a great atmosphere.For memorial Day, we had veterans and families gather here and give talks about Honkr those who have giving the ultimate sacrifice for this country. Also quilts of valor to honor those who served.Having the San Moritz here is a must, and for all visitors who want to explore crestline, and the mountains here, it is definitely a must see.Thank you Adrian for all the work you have put in this place and always welcoming everyone who stops by and comes in, I really feel at home here and connected better with the community who is all around the mountain. Adrian made sure that all the needs were met, and even lit the fireplace for us so that we stayed warm.The field nearby and the lake is also a great location for games, sports, and also hiking. The combo of the lodge and the scenery is like being in paradise. I often see photographers come here, and I definitely understand why. It is a beautiful piece of architecture and scenery here that will make you feel you've experienced the mountain life and all it's gloryMas

We got married at San Moritz and it was the most magical day of our lives! The whole team here was absolutely amazing and helped us have the best day ever. All the preferred vendors we hired through their package were amazing, from photography to cake to bartending. Courtney the coordinator (the Courtenator!) was incredible and made every moment special and easy and stress-free. This venue is unbelievably beautiful and every detail was lovely and perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Just came in between my professional appointments to canvas the location for possible future events as the online listing says the location is open, time was about 10:30AM. A middle aged man with a beard followed me out to the parking lot and very angered asked me @Who are you with?!” I asked why he was asking, he went in to very angrily say he ran the place and said they weren’t open. I double checked the online listing & venue website and pointed out to the man that the listings say they are open. The man literally said he didn’t care, said he ran the place and weren’t open. This guy is probably costing the venue business. Super unprofessional and not a way to treat guest in any case. Now in good conscience I can’t consider this venue for any professional or personal events because of how it’s evidently being managed judging by how I was treated by this representative who claimed to be the manager; who very plainly said he doesn’t care about what the public sees as far as their online listing or how guests are treated.

We worked with San Moritz over the past 3 years coordinating our postponed wedding throughout the pandemic. Amazingly, through it all, each vendor and coordinator we worked with brought a great experience. Our main day-of-coordinator, Courtney, went above and beyond to ensure our day went perfectly. I am not sure how she managed to be in a million places at once, but at any point I felt I could turn to her and ask her for help in a farfetched avenue - i.e can you help us make last-minute boutonnieres and she would magically whip it up. Thanks to James, our photographer and Frank, for their incredible energy all day as well. Can't say enough kind words about the folks at San Moritz!

It's stressful planning a wedding especially when you're not an ocd girly girl lol, Savannah made it very easy with how knowledgeable she is with everything wedding. She was there almost 24/7 through the first caterer not working out and helping me find the best replacement, to the day of and everything in between, I leaned on her allot for timeline and decorations. She made sure our wedding day was amazing and epic, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Thank you again for such an amazing night, a beautiful way to start the next chapter of our lives!
