Defiance Vineyard is a small boutique winery that offers estate wines only and no herbicides. Guests enjoy private tastings with the owner and special Host, who is friendly and excited to share wines. The tasting room is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming. Wine lovers praise the Black VI collection Petite Syrah 2018, Malbec 2019, Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Whipper‑In 2019, and a Super Tuscan blend of Cab Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cab Franc and Malbec. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and many guests join the membership. The outdoor fireplace and epic views add to the experience, making the winery worth the slight detour.
We had such a fun experience tasting wine at Defiance, in a beautiful wine tasting room which was warm and welcoming. Erin, co- owner and hostess was funny and personable, while pouring spectacular red wines. A vertical tasting of petite Syrah was a highlight. We will definitely be frequent visitors!

Defiance is must stop in the Paso/Creston area. Their wines are amazing; the views are phenomenal, and the family is wonderful!

I’ve been a big fan of Defiance wines since discovering them a few years ago. All their reds are amazing (which is the only varietals I drink). I particularly like their Breach and their cabs are such a great go-to gift for a special occasion/dinner.
