My experience with Banfield has always been awful. The last teeth cleaning they knocked one of his bottom teeth out and tried to tell me he is starting to loose his teeth. No such thing. Another time they did some anal gland probing and his stool was bloody for about 4 days. Unfortunately I have to drop my dog off early and they keep him all day without letting him eliminate so he is returned with pee all over him. I do not recommend leaving your pet at the Culver City Banfield. Lastly try getting someone on the phone over there.

Be aware this hospital in Culver City is the worst I took my beautiful dog the doctor never explain by her owns word what’s is going on with her the front desk they don’t know what is going I have plan with doesn’t cover anything I paid for medicine almost $200 but worse is the antibiotics are one month to expire that’s no ok usually antibiotic test supposed to be they have at least one year expiration date I’m very mad because they give me medication. They expire very soon I pay so much money and I think you guys need to work and be careful for. I’m gonna return this antibiotics because my dog is gonna be getting worse . I suggest any customer they go and get medication by Petsmart in Culver City. Make sure you not check the expiration day because they’re really give expired expired medication.

Chase has been with Banfield since he was 8 weeks (currently 5yo)....my pup has always received great care. El Segundo and Culver City are great locations for services

Did nothing for my dog then when my 10 year old died suddenly that want to charge me for poor service. Don't do it, find a local place that cares about your pet.

The receptionists and vets have always been really nice to my dog and I, but a pretty low quality and impersonal vet in general. Many people have mentioned how over booked they are and “having an appointment” still means you could be there for hours before your pet is seen. Many times after like 1 or 2 hours I’ve come back and asked when he’ll be seen and they claim they’ll go tell the vet to “move him forward,” and then we’re out within 10 minutes. You speak to the vet for like 2 minutes tops afterward…Also paying $70/month doesn’t cover their yearly dental cleaning…crazy. I hate how they’re kept in the back for hours and only god knows what the conditions are like. In the front area there’s of always pee and dried pee, so I’m really hoping my doggo isn’t experiencing that back there as well. Overall, definitely would find a non-chain vet to care for your pup if you can!

My senior dog has seen several Banfields, this one is the closest. I must say this current team is the best we have experienced so far. There aren't one or two shining stars, EVERYONE is kind, compassionate and loves all pets as their own. It's nice to know that during his golden years, my pup is in great hands and will receive the care he deserves. I truly believe this team saved his life.

Banfield Culver City is awesome! Very knowledgeable, conscientious as well as very communicative with every step taken for the care of my little one! Happy to drive 40 minutes to have her cared for by this very professional and caring team. Madeleine needed a full check up and dental cleaning. I was informed by phone throughout the day on every step of the treatment, something one doesn’t see much out there anymore! Love these guys!!

The front desk either never picks up the phone or takes a very long time, no communication on when to pick your pet up, you have to wait 30+ minutes for them to bring your pet out even when they call to tell you they’re ready, if you want a receipt you’ll have to ask more than once. Honestly you’re better off going somewhere else. Just slow slow slow.

Mediocre medical care. I inherited my mom's dog, who has a Banfield policy. They are like a factory. They take dozens of dogs every morning and service them like cars. You don't see the doctor you drop off the pet. No bedside manner, always in a rush. If your animal is sick, forget about Banfield. You will have to take your pet to another vet. There are no same day appointments. My dog has been a patient for 10 years, but if she gets sick, I have to find another vet to get care, or she would be sick for a month. That will never work!! Getting an appointment can take weeks if you can even get through to talk to someone. Everyone is under pressure because they ARE ALWAYS understaffed.Culver City office is very overwhelmed and slow. Mediocre medical care.

My chihuahua had an infection that I thought was a bug bite, but it made her eye swell shut. I needed somewhere to go immediately and this Banfield branch was able to take us the same day, and help heal my baby. I am grateful for their attention and hard work into making sure my girl got the treatment she needed.

Well, it's been 3 weeks since I shared my experience at Banfield, Culver City. There was an immediate response on yelp and I received 2 emails stating that I would be hearing from the management team within 3-5 days. Needless to say that I have not heard from anyone....
