Received a Non-BMO ATM fee of 3.00 for taking money out of my account in early March. I looked at my February statement and there was no mention of any additional fees or changing of fees. I then got my statement today, 3/19/2024 and there is a NEW fee of 3.00 for using a Non-BMO ATM that took effect on 3/1/2024. I think it is dishonest to not let your customers know of changes that cost the customer money after the fact! BMO is horrible to deal with and I look forward to ending my association with them!!!

Very bad service I went there today this is my 3nd times still no greeting no smiles and no service mind I was wondering what is going on to my favorite bank this is so sad since become BMO

Soulless banking establishment with clueless tellers and equally clueless bankers. Sat around for 45 minutes and occasionally bugging someone to notice me but could not get any attention whatsoever.Avoid at all costs.

Don't even try to get a home loan from this bank. After 19 weeks and additional requests for documents, and additional requests for documents, and repeated requests for the same documents, they still hadn't approved our loan in spite of this being a small refi to borrowers with high credit scores and tons of assets and income. We finally went elsewhere and got a better rate.

I will NEVER do business with BMO again despite all the recent TV ads about how great they are. I opened two 1-year CDs with them and it nearly took an Act of Congress to get my money after they matured. In fact, it took over 3 weeks and many phone calls and email messages to get a check from them after my second CD matured. If I hadn't written a negative review on their Facebook page they would have continued to ignore me even longer. My advice: "proceed with great caution." Better yet, avoid them altogether.

This is the worst bank on earth. Do NOT open any account with BMO. They locked up my account shortly after I opened it. Then they refused to take my numerous calls to unlock my account. Today is day 12 and my account is still locked up. What a big SCAM!

Redondo Beach Branch has HORRIFIC customer service!! Will be closing my account very soon. I really miss Bank of the West that BMO bought out.

In addition..... called BMO again to rectify the double payment. Once again the service agent said she could issue me a Check which will be held for 7days BEFORE IT IS MAILED to refund the payment they withdrew without my consent. I asked to speak to a manager because this was all handled electronically and should be returned the same way. Not only is it more convenient for the customer it is also safer. No go! Manager said he apologized for the inconvenience but that's how it's done. Not an ounce of sincerity in that comment. This is my first dealings with BMO and when I can refinance this loan it will be my last dealings with BMO! Don't use this bank. They, like most financial institutions, don't care that they leave you high and dry on their screw up.

Horrible customer! Blaming me for their mistakes! On hold waiting for a rep in the US to come on the line for 1/2 hour! US rep put me on hold again while she checked! They also added a late charge from a year ago that was the result of their error. I've been on hold for 52 minutes already and still, no one coming back on the line! Be warned! Do not do business with this bank! JeffG

This is honestly the worst bank you could ever bank with. For one, they lost my money on my account and freezed it. When I went into the location to see how they could lose my money then prevent me from accessing my money because of their fault they get defensive and pretty much tell me to figure it out. So not only do they lose your money but blame you as if it was your fault. Could you think of any worse thing a bank could do? No

extremely poor customer service; they put me on the defense immediately. The branch manager deferred me to the banker who made me feel like i was going to commit fraud with them. AVOID THIS BRANCH.# and i’m an existing customer #

Terrible experience with this location two times now. The branch manager clearly only wants to work rich men. Gave me no support on options to invest with them. Instead of taking me to the desk to discuss opening a business bank account he proceeded to ask revenue questions from me in the lobby surrounded by customers. He doesn’t take female business owners seriously, by his actions he never intended to have a serious conversation with me. He is selective on who he wants to spend his time with and even said “ I suppose your looking for your bank to have your back”. Which I would like but not what this location intends to do.

Not polite, not professional, not appreciating their long time customers.Do not know what they doing and how to help customer.Dany was extremely rude, saying to me “I trying to teach you respect”, is it a joke?Hope someday customer relationship manager can look at reviews at all branches and do something.Very uneducated people
