Rental car companies need to find a way to allow more than one person's name to be on the rental car agreement if they are travelling with another person (in this case husband and wife) because one of the two of us was not able to travel at the last minute and that person was the one whose name was on the agreement so we had to forfeit $150 on the reservation and had to make a new reservation. Corporations could figure out a way to do this but I guess then they wouldn't be able to gouge their customers if they did and they wouldn't be able to get money for nothing.

Flew in for a couple of days paid for my rental 2 weeks prior upon arrival I was told they don’t have any cars, now I’m stranded in Los Angeles with no car or no refund…worst ever

I made a reservation to pick up my rental at 5pm, unfortunately my flight was 30 min late to departure. When I arrive at the budget in culver city there was a sign that said closed at 5pm it was written in a white copy paper. I was greeted with an attitude, now keep in mind the gate was open. He said "were closed come back tomorrow". I was stuck at this location with no car with my luggage. Clearly the website states closed at 6pm, or else it wouldn't let me make the reservation.

My first time renting a car in several years. Order it online, easy pleasy. Staff was pleasant when I went to pick up car. Car was in excellent condition, very smooth ride on the highway.

This was my first time renting at this location and I won’t be back. Rent from either the airport or Inglewood location. They are way too slow and take 20+ min just to get each person through the line which usually takes 5 or less. There were 3 people waiting when I arrived and I was there for 1.5 hours . Multiple people who had left and come back were invited to skip the line despite the fact the rest of us had stayed and waited for so long. They also made people with returns wait in line so if u are returning, make sure to arrive super early and cut your rental short or you’ll end up paying for a late return. I rent cars every week and have never seen a location so poorly serviced and managed. They do both Avis and budget at this location. They are clearly trying to save money by not hiring enough people…help them out and go somewhere else…

This place is a bit inconsistent when it comes to their policies. I've been here a few times and each time was handled differently. The first time I went here, I spoke with Lala who was helpful and answered all my questions. She informed me that the deposit would be a little more ($300 as opposed to $200) since I was using a debit card. When I arrived, she accepted the debit card and I rented a car for a few days. A few months later, I had to rent a car again so I went to this location since a lot of other places would only accept a credit card. I went in with the same card I used last time and the gentleman indicated he had to run my credit to accept the debit card. I asked when this started and he said it's been this way for years. I asked if Lala would be in that day and he seemed a bit defensive after that. I didn't end up getting a car that time since I wouldn't agree with the credit check. The very last time I went, there was a different gentleman who informed me the deposit would be $500 + the cost of the rental + insurance since I was using my debit card. The total to rent a car for 3 days was going to be over $1k and $500 would be returned within 3-5 business days once the car was returned. I didn't end up getting a rental since the cost was so high. Long story short, call ahead and see how they are operating that day.

Very rude and impolite. The guy who was checking me in gave me so much attitude like I was taking his personal vehicle for a ride. I will never use them again.

Such a great experience. Lala was so accommodating, and she helped alter plans even when I came early to pick up my vehicle. No complaints whatsoever.

The customer service is very poor. Dwight who is the manager is very rude. You try to talk to him and he willnonly hear what he wants to...then will try to be condisending at the same time. Which is incredible. Then he will ask you to repeat yourself since he didnt understand what you said the first time... And has no obligation to make their customers happy, let alone donhis job. Rent anywhere but here. Try Hertz or alamo.

Do not recommend. Fine if your reservation is super clear cut, but sub par customer service, definitely not interested in keeping happy customers. Just want to get you in and out the door. They are pretty cheap, but not a good deal overall. You will not be advised of additional fees.

I am writing this because I was overcharged and lied to by multiple people. I was charged 38.26 + 100.00 +145.30. The original contract that I booked online was for one day, that one day was supposed to cost me 38.26$. When I got to the location the sales lady sold me into getting an upgrade of an additional cost of 30$. Total of 67$ per day. "She said it was a special" I told her that I might need it for an additional day or two. She said to call a head and it wouldn't be a problem, I would get an additional charge of 67$ per day. When I returned the car, a different sales person was working. He gave me a crazy bill, I told him that those charges were insane. He replied to me that “I should know all the hidden charges even if a sales person forgets to tell me about them” I did not accept those charges. He said he would leave the case open so that the salesperson who originally got me the contract could close it. She charged me the crazy amount this morning. This is not what I agreed to, I need my money back asap. The staff at this location is extremely unprofessional. I was charged a total of 283.56$ 3x 67$ does not equal 283.56$

SNEAKY EVIL PEOPLE! My car rental was for a total of 67$ per day (including tax) I rented it for 3 days and when I returned the car my bill came out to 300$ they made up a bunch of charges that they DID NOT disclose with me when renting the car. PLEASE ASK FOR ALL THE HIDDEN FEES BEFORE RENTING! PURE EVIL TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHILE THERE IS A PANDEMIC GOING ON.

AWESOME! This place had EXCELLENT customer service. I came in to rent a Ford Fiesta, they only had a convertable Mustang, hell ya I was ok with that!! They treated me so well, that I know I will be back anytime I need to rent a car. VERY SWEET PEOPLE 5 STAR SERVICE!!
