Our two doggos have pretty extreme anxiety about getting their nails trimmed, and Citydog is our tried & true spot for getting that done! Everyone there (special shout out to Gina & Elisheba!) always makes sure to take such good care of em! Have had nothing but good experiences here - truly so grateful for them!

Extremely incompetent and poor communication at this facility. First appointment cancelled me on the same day an hour before. Called me three times because they mixed my dog up with another persons dog. Every time i call i hear dogs yelping and barking in the background, now why would i bring my dog here if the experience is so unpleasant before i even get anything done?

We've boarded Renny at Citydog for over 10 years. They always take very good care of her, and for the latest stay they went above and beyond. Renny wasn't eating well and the staff spent extra time cuddling and hand-feeding her, trying alternate mealtimes and food combinations, and letting her stay in a private "den" to alleviate stress. When we suggested tempting her with peanut butter, one staff member went out and bought some. They called frequently to update us and welcomed our daily followup calls. They would have taken her to the vet also, but fortunately that wasn't necessary. They truly care about our dog.

City dog is the Soho house for hounds! They were amazing! Our puppies had the time of their lives and it was clear that the staff really cared. We will be back soon !!

Great place for those who care about their dogs! Facility is immaculate, staff friendly, efficient, and handled my dog Hamilton with loads of patience and love. Hamilton was relaxed when I returned, I got a full report of services rendered. I am very please with Citydog Club and will be using them from now on.

Really disappointed with my experience with Culver City location. Brought my dog Max here several times over the past year for grooming and day care. The groomers have shaved him twice when i've said not to. I've noticed that his nails have been clipped too short, which obviously causes unnecessary pain. But my main issue with this location is that every single time he comes home from daycare, he has poo smeared in his fur. The employees literally don't care either. I brought it up the last time I was there and they just laughed and said "dogs will be dogs". I understand if it's once or twice, but it's gotten to a point where every time I bring Max, I just expect him to come back covered in other dog's poo. So gross. It's clear that the employees dont care to clean up after the dogs, or theyre so understaffed because no one wants to work at this place. I'll never bring my dog back here.

ill share here what i wrote to them after booking the boarding and daycare service last week. hopefully it's instructive to someone else:ive been a customer since 2017. this was my last visit. i was hoping the online reviews were wrong.but it's true. you are chronically understaffed, by choice it seems at this point.the dogs are by themselves most of the time. no one is engaging the dogs in "play" as has been the product offering that you are still charging for, at increased rates i might add. i watched (via camera) over and over again dogs get into fights uninterrupted and jump from one play park to another. given that dogs are separated by temperament and size, this is of grave concern, especially with a recent dog mauling death at City Dog. when i called to ask if you were temporarily understaffed, i was told that no one was watching the dogs because a dog was getting walked. indicating that there is only 1 person working the four giant dog parks while there is someone out front. that's unacceptable for this business, the price point this business occupies and in direct contradiction with what you say happens at your facility on the website.not least of the concerns is the cleanliness issue. dogs are playing in their own filth. my dog came home smelling like a pigsty. that was never an issue here before, but according to the online reviews, seems to now be a chronic and ongoing concern.but given the amount of people sharing these same concerns online, i can assume that the business already knew these things and just doesn't care to make any significant adjustments of any kind. are you just treading water until selling or failing? these concerns went unacknowledged by anyone, we were not thanked for our ongoing patronage despite these issues-- we were just happily charged what are now clearly exorbitant rates for the pleasure of knowing that our dog didn't die in your negligent care.frankly, i'd report you to amex for fraud if i had more time on my hands. but at this point, i've spent more than enough time even bothering to write you this feedback that you won't learn from.you won't be seeing us again.

Tucker , the general manager , went out of his way to Find two dog crates for us since we forgot ours . Entire staff conscientious and kind to every single dog I watched them engage with . Citydog saved me when my local boarding facility canceled my reservation last minute. I hadn’t been there in years but, once I submitted my vaccine info, they took my dog no problem. If I didn’t live in the Valley, I would use them 100% of the time.

STAFFING ISSUES! My dog has been going here for almost 4 years and this summer (2022) they had major staff turnover. I came one night to get my dog and 4 people told me it was their last day, including the manager. Since then the quality has gone down a lot. Not enough staff watching the dogs, I got my dog back one day and she stunk of pee. In October I went out of town and apparently my dog bit another dog during her stay. I felt awful. I had to go away again but I checked the cameras constantly. They are down to one person for all 4 pens. There used to be a person in every pen. I tried calling to check on her and it took 5 attempts to get someone on the phone. They were also going through staff turnover again. I don't feel comfortable sending my dog here anymore because I don't think the dogs are properly supervised. I blame the owner. Not the staff.

We adopted a thirteen month old pitbull from the shelter and had invested in personal training for him. He has been doing great at home but on walks and parks it was clear he had never learned doggy manners growing up. We sought out daycare for him because of our work schedules and in order to socialize him more. We scheduled a consult with citydog. Cheri helped us and introduced us to the facilities and services while our dog had a meet and greet with another handler. We felt immediately reassured that our dog would be in good hands. The facilities were clean and organized and the staff were obviously very passionate about animals. We bought a daycare and boarding package since it was cheaper. Since our consult, our dog has gone to daycare a handful of times and boarded over night four nights now. Initially he did great and came back exhausted as we had hoped. Eventually though he began barking at some dogs across the fence and needed time outs. Each time the staff were very good at explaining what had happened but that our dog was overall very good. I know our dog isn't perfect and I really appreciate the citydog staff are willing to work with him. In addition since we signed up, they have had a change in management. The manager called to explain the new changes and the reasons for the time outs. I felt even more reassured and trust that my dog's safety is being prioritized. They're also really helpful when I pick him up. We always ask what else we can work on with him to help improve his behavior at daycare. Everyone I've interacted with has been really friendly, but Cheri is exceptional. There is an older gentleman and a young man with long dark hair (sorry never got their names) who are also excellent with our dog. Highly recommend citydog! Not only are they great with our dog, but their hours and packages are convenient for working dog parents.
