Culver City Park is a community park with multiple levels of access. The park amenities include Ropes Course Concession, Interpretive Nature Trail, and Trail Access to the Baldwin Hills Overlook. It's a popular park for children and bbq events.

Boring. Small. Dirty. Not for families. I came by to meet some friends. Wasn't really a park. Maybe a green space.

Culver City Park is worth visiting, day or night. If you follow the directions here, you will first pass by a large grassy area filled with picnic benches, and on this July 4th afternoon, it was filled with people. Driving up is where you meet The Bone Yard dog park, which has its own Yelp that does it justice (it is dry and it is dusty). We came here for the Playa Trail though, which is a few steps away from the dog park. This gentle version of a hike is made with a beautiful red wood that winds up to the two baseball fields, which you can drive straight to as well. The trail is easy and only takes 10-15 minutes up. Being able to be away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below is such a privilege, and the view is incredible.

WHAT A GEM! Frustrated from our attempt to get into the Kenneth Hahn park (parking was impossible!) we drove along Jefferson and came across an entrance to this park at the intersection of Jefferson and Duquesne. We turned in and there was plenty of parking - later we found there seem to be many lots in different parts of the park. A very nice red wooden pathway leads you to the top of the park - easy walk with gentle slope and nice views at every turn. So, instant gratification within minutes from you get off your car!! That's my kind of outing! After the picturesque pathway, you come to an old baseball field - you don't see many like this, not any more in plastic Westside. A dirt path, unpaved, takes you around to another baseball field... with city lookout spots scattered along the way. We spent about an hour wandering around. This seemingly unintentional and un-designed is a contrast to the congested order down below, and therefore, relaxing and refreshing. After the baseball fields, there is a small gate that takes you into the adjacent Baldwin Hills Scenic Lookout, another gem that offers unobstructed/expansive views of the city down below.

I love going for a walk all the way up to the hill top. I know I should go walking more often but when I get lazy, my wife encourages me and we both go together. Great view of Culver city and the west side.

A hidden oasis that takes you away from the hustle & bustle of the modern world; all within a reasonable distance from your home. I'll take it. There are trails, wildlife, fields, overlooks; you name it. This is the perfect place to jog or run; take your dog on a walk; go for a long & challenging hike; or simply stroll & relax. Alone, or with company; it's a win-win. This is also the home of the famous Culver City Stairs; so if you are in the mood for a more advanced climb, you always have that option. Parking is easy; and there are ample signs and workers both patrolling as well as cleaning & repairing the grounds, nearly constantly. There are also plenty of water fountains & restrooms available, so there's no excuse to leave here early!

This was such a great park to visit on my trip to Los Angeles from the East coast. I love the doggy prints on the way to the dog park. When I went it had rained previously so a lot of mud and mulch had made its way down the hill. I highly recommend the walk to the top as there are so many great views when you get there. My only comment is when we got to the top near the field, we noticed a lot of sketchy activities going on. Oh well! I still had a great time!

Fabulous park we discovered after visiting the Star Eco Station! Plentiful free parking on Sundays. The play structure for the 6-12 year olds was really unique & had lots of interesting climbing options. Clean park & bathrooms were open & stocked. My grandkids spent a lot of time at the dripping water & sand play area: such a welcome & rare feature! Lots of people enjoying the adjacent skateboard park & dog park too.

This park COULD be so much better. I don't love the selection (or lack there of) in the kid's play area. Lots of big cubes to climb or odd similar AND half it is for the SUPER duper young toddler crowd. Not a single swing either? Also I have to say I am a loyal CCLittle League mom but I find the condition of our upper field baseball diamonds is TRAGIC. Lower field is better but that is 1 compared to 3 in heavy rotation on the upper area. We pay a lot more than Ladera for league dues and yet it isn't reflected in the condition of us fields. Almost embarrassing for home games. Having gone to an away game at Roxbury and b-ball camp at Ladera Heights, we PALE in comparison. Is it just the shifting hills above? Fields are so sloped from base or base or mound to plate. Odd. And the park overall just could be better laid out or utilized. Pros are the skate park and the dog park which are both terrific and unique.
