Excel Auto Motors is the final stop for all of your mechanical/body work needs. I have been going to them for 5+ years for minor engine trouble and oil changes but just recently I had a minor accident and needed body work. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Albert, Ricky, and everyone over there helped me out with a same day battery swap and engine inspection. They were quick, kind, and fair on the price. Over the years Albert, Ricky and his crew have taken exceptional care of any issues Ive had w my Audi. They’re communicative and most importantly honest. typically a word that’s not common with body shops.So far I’ve had major repair from an accident to my bumper, brake pad replacements, oil leaks and minor cosmetic work done and each time I’ve been beyond satisfied w their work. I really like the guys at Excel. Ricky, Alberto and Mayron have taken great care of my car. They're smart and easy to talk to. Reasonable pricing. Not pushy. The whole team here is so welcoming and kind. It genuinely felt like talking to car doctors. They really took the time to explain everything they noticed about my car so that I could make informed decisions and recommended what needed immediate repair vs what could wait. They were also really clear and upfront with me about pricing. I just moved from out of state and was nervous to find a shop I trusted. I came to Excel on the recommendation of a friend and the overwhelmingly positive reviews they have online and I was not disappointed. These are honest folk. They even followed up with me after to be sure everything was running smoothly. I’ll definitely be back.

Excel motors faced the challenging task of finding parts and servicing the front end (axles, etc) of our 23 year old car. They spent considerable effort and did an excellent job. They seem to look forward to the challenge. They avoid unnecessary repairs.Service: Engine repair

RECOMMENDED!! Went above and beyond duties to a total stranger. great service and job well done. I came in from a Groupon oil change. I am new to LA, so what luck it was to find great mechanics. I just bought a vintage Mercedes with oil leaks. Was quoted over $3K to fix from another shop in San Diego. Excel fixed the main problems for much less. Ricky is the owner and Alberto manages the office portion- both are professional and friendly. They were frank with which problems were urgent and which could wait. Price quotes and labor costs are very reasonable

I cannot begin to thank Ricky, Berto, and their team enough for all of the work and support they have given me over the years with my cars! As someone that doesn't know cars very well, it was a huge relief to find mechanics that I trust.I first found Excel Auto Motors when I was looking for a second opinion. Ricky and his team showed me how the other place was trying to scam me for double the cost. When I had an emergency flat tire on my way to work, I called them and they repaired it within 10 min. When I was in a collision, they gave me their opinion on the value of the damage and made reparations at a fraction of the cost. When I was struggling to keep up with the repair costs on my old vehicle, they advised me on what to prioritize fixing, what could be delayed, and alternative economical solutions. And finally, when I was preparing for my cross country drive, they fixed up my car, texted to check in on my long journey, and even offered to continue being a second opinion after I moved away!I will truly miss Excel Auto Motors.
